Chapter 01: Enter Sehanie, the Mischievous Wood Elf

My arrow flies faster than your thoughts inside your mind.

                - Sehanie Moonbow

*****

“Hmmmm… Nothing out of ordinary here.”

A silhouette could be seen atop of a tree in the eastern part of the Great Forest Shanintara; it’s perimeter just border lining the massive gate-wall to the guild-city of the Brotherhood of the Sun. The eastern part of the forest was in the closest perimeter of the Brotherhood’s guild-city, sharing the same river that flows along the perimeter.

“It’s already going to be night soon and my shift will be over. I better head back to the village to report to Chief.” The Chief was the leader of the scout patrol unit for the Wood Elves that this particular elf reported to.

“I better get moving now, or it will be late. Chief doesn’t like late reports anyway… Hmmm? What’s this we have here??”

The slender, yet curvy figure froze in her tracks. Using her magnificent eyesight and hearing, of which the natural ability that made Wood Elves famous for, she scrutinized the object of her interest.

Coming out of a small door-gate on the massive wall that surrounded the guild-city was yet another small figure. A human male to be precise. With him, he carried an axe, a bunch of ropes and a canteen of water, tucked in his belt.

“Oh-ho. What a surprise.” The wood elf was surprisingly happy with this particular encounter.

“Let’s see where he is heading to. Now, if I’m not mistaken, it’s the usual place. I’ll just follow him from the top of the trees. Tee-hee…”

The elven figure vanished from where she stood earlier in a blink of an eye.

Incoherent curses amidst loud thuds of woods being chopped could be heard in a certain part of this forest; the Woodcutter’s round. The only place where it was permissible to cut woods, given by the Wood Elves to the Brotherhood of the Sun.

The Brotherhood’s woodcutters would only come and collect firewood here for the guild-city. But thanks to a particular youth initiate, the woodcutters had less work nowadays, of which they gladly spent more of their free time in the guild-city’s tavern, The Hobbit’s Lodge.

“Take that, you stupid old fool, Blizzard Hawk.”

I cursed as I swung the axe down, chopping the wood in half.

“You slave driver! Child manipulator! This is too much of a chore.”

I placed yet another piece of wood on top of a large wooden platform created from an old tree trunk made by the woodcutters. It’s to make the chopping easier, they said. As if chopping firewoods were easy to begin with anyway.

“Hummphhh… This won’t end. It will never end!”

With that, I swung my axe yet again.

“Argghhh… Curse you fat-arse of a chef. How dare you complained about me. I’ll put one of Black Rose weird potion in your stew. Just you wait and see.”

Another wood had gone, thousands more to go. When would this ever end? I sighed as I picked up the woods that scattered around the platform.

“How many was that already? I better tie them up first before I start another round of the woods.”

Unbeknown to Hasty One, someone was watching him intently. From on top of a tree, some 50 yards away, a female Wood Elf was looking at him, smiling mischievously.

“I know you’ll be here. Like you always do. Tee-hee... Let’s see now. I think I’m going to give him a ‘pleasant’ surprise.”

The Wood Elf was giggling as she drew her bow and placed an arrow on its string. With one expert move that most other bow masters would be envious of, she let fly of an arrow. Towards Hasty One.

Hiss…..

“Hmmmm?? Am I hearing things?”

I froze in my tracks, with my axe halfway down on another piece of wood. I was finding the direction of the sound. A funny sound made only by a projectile attack separating the air.

“What? An attack?”

No way, right. I thought this place was safe. But I don’t have a second longer to entertain that thought. Having found the direction of the sound, my face went pale as if looking at Death himself. And that Death came in a form of an flying arrow.

“Who, what, how??? Oh my god! I can’t escape this.”  I couldn’t avoid its path. A point blank attack at my head.

“Too late now…”  I closed my eyes as I desperately tried to shield my head with the axe.

Thud…

Seconds seemed like an eternity when one was faced with impending doom. I prefered a swift death, if I might choose the way I died. But I didn’t want to die yet. Not like this, while I’m still a virgin. And with more panties to collect.

But it was all pitch black where I was now. Looks like I’m really dead…

“Tee-hee…”

A familiar voice.

“Tee-hee… it didn’t hit you~”

A familiar and yet annoying voice.

“Hey, look. I’m already dead. You don’t have to come to the whatever-this-dark-place is and gloat at me. Go away!”  I retorted out loudly.

Hmmm…? Something was amiss

“Tee-hee. Open your eyes already. You are not dead!”

Am I not dead? B-but… I swore something was coming to my head at speed. I slowly opened my eyes, a feat where I won’t be able to do if I’m dead.

Looks like I’m not dead. So, what happened, anyway?

The first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes was the bladed part of my axe in front of my face. I tried to shield it using my axe, but did it work? Lowering my axe down, I saw a familiar figure. A slender, yet curvy, big-breasted, blonde hair female figure stood in front of me.

“S-S-Sehanie…??”

“Tee-hee… See, you are not dead, right?”

“What are you doing here? In fact, why are you in front of my face so close to me?”

That’s the first thing I asked her. Without pausing for an answer, I looked at my surroundings. Nothing seemed out of order. Sehanie, now squatting in front of me, poked into my cheeks and pointed to a spot behind me. I turned around.

As I laid my eyes to the spot where she pointed at earlier, chilled blood coursed through my veins yet again. An arrow was deeply lodged in a tree trunk behind me. Just a few millimetres above my head.

“I missed you by this much.” Sehanie measured the amount the distance between my head and my would be doom between her thumb and forefinger.

“Wait a minute. What do you mean when you say you missed me by this much?”

“Uh-hum…” She replied, trying to hold her giggles.

“What? What??? WHATTTT????” As I come to my senses, Sehanie was barely holding her laugh as she covers her mouth with her hands.

“You… you did this???”

Devil. Demon. Reincarnate of the Unknown. I pointed at her, but words failed to come out from my mouth.

“Oh, come on Claude. Snap out of it. Let me help you up.” She extended her hands, which I gladly accepted and she pulled me up. Hmmm… soft hands. But, that was beside the point.

“What was the devil you going to do to me, Sehanie?”

“You never visited me for a long time, Claude. And when I saw you leaving the guild-city through the gates near the river, I can’t resist to drop by and say hello”

“And you mean your way of saying hello is by presenting me with an arrow from gods know where distance at a frightening speed? That’s no elven hello, that’s Death saying hello.”

I pouted.

“Ahh, Claude. It takes more than this to kill you. You have a thick skull anyway.”

“Thick skull or not, this could kill even a hog. And you are a bow master.”  I continued my pouting. Her nonchalant attitude about her actions towards me was pissing me off.

“Tee-hee. That’s what you get if you forget to visit your childhood friend for a long time, Claude.”

Childhood friend ehh…

*****

I remembered the first time I met Sehanie.

A beautiful, blonde Wood Elf with breast to die for. That was how she looks like as far as I could remember her by. Wood Elves were special to the Great Forest, Shanintara. The same forest that we, the Brotherhood of the Sun and Elaeseryn, the Wood Elves’ village shared. Both of our organizations shared mutual resources and trusted each other deeply.

Blizzard Hawk and I would often visit Elaeseryn. I didn’t really know the reasons why, but it had to do with something with what he and the village Elders have in common. Perhaps it was Alchemy. But I was too young to know such thing. And it didn’t interest me in any way. I rather explore the area and make some new friends. Most of the Wood Elves paid me no heed, thus making me felt out of place a little, in the beginning.

However, Sehanie was different. When I first saw her, I asked loudly to my mentor,

“Who is this Goddess?”

I was young and I often blurted out my mind, without regards to the consequences. The Elders and Blizzard Hawk looked at me with disbelief, but they laughed it loud at the end.

“Sehanie, Child of Moonbow. Take this young one and give him a tour of our village.” One of the Elder beckoned to Sehanie to which she dutifully obliged.

“I’m Claude. But people at the guild called me Hasty One. What’s your name?” I introduced myself, eager to make a good first impression. This was my chance to make new friends, especially one as beautiful as the girl in front of me now. Learning from my mentor, I could identify beautiful women even from far away. A good eyes for the beauty if one might say so.

“Tee-hee… Hasty One ehh? I’m Sehanie, Child of Moonbow. But you may call me Sehanie. Can I call you Claude instead?”

I nodded. She could call me whatever she wanted and I would just agreed with her.

“Now, let me give you a tour.” She took my little hands – I was very young at that time when I first met her, a little older than 6 years old – and gave me a tour of her village. I was in awe, not just from the village, but being together with this beautiful blonde Goddess named Sehanie. You could say, I have my first childhood crush.

From that point onwards, we became friends. As I grew up, she looked more and more beautiful each time I saw her. Though she might not change much physically, but as for myself, I began to see her in a different light.

As a matter of fact, I started to have an interest in her, as a woman. But a friend was a friend and I didn’t dare to destroy that friendship.

And so, I started to avoid her. I knew that I’m a pervert who loved big breasted women and I could not taint her with my presence. The fact why I loved big breasted women was because of Sehanie. She was the first Goddess with the biggest pair of breast I’ve ever seen when I was a child.

Of course, she knew that she was my Goddess, but that was more of an admiration of a young boy towards a fully grown female, what more of a beauty like her. She did not take my feelings for her too seriously. She used to say to me often,

“A child will always be a child to me”.

That ended up every hope I had in making her my woman when I grew up.

Added to the fact that she also knew about my perverseness. I stole her panties countless of times when I was younger, in retort to her bullying me. But that was ages ago when I was young. But now, I’m a young man with raging hormones. I’m afraid to be alone with her. I’m afraid it’s not just the panties that I would steal, but more. Thinking about that used to give me a raging hard-on. Hey, I’m a young man and I needed to relieve my stress too, you know.

And because of that, I did not visit her for a long time.

Perhaps that was why Sehanie took offence of my absence a little way over the top. And that little hello ‘gift’, it was her saying she was angry with me for not visiting her. How long was it since I last saw her? Maybe two years?

That and also she was the biggest bully one could ever meet. Mischievous, brutal and that annoying ‘Tee-Hee’.

*****

“Claude?” Sehanie patted my body for me, getting rid of the dust that stuck to my tunic.

“Umm... yeah?”

“Are you alright? Was my little ‘gift’ too extreme for you? You know I did not mean…” I silenced her with my smile. I could not be angry with her. Not for long anyway.

“So, what are you doing here? Don’t tell me it’s one of your punishment again. Tee-hee...”

“Yeah.”  I gave her a short reply as I took the wood pieces on to the wooden platform.

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen you. And you look no different. Still as short as ever.”

“Hey, hey. Keep the personal abuse to yourself, alright. I’m working here.”

“But its true. You are shorter than me, a Wood Elf.”

“Don’t bug me. Shoo! Shoo!” Sehanie giggled and took a liking to what was going on. Was she a sadist now?

“Really Claude. I’ve missed you so, so, so much and you really never came to visit me.”

“And that’s why you gave an arrow to my head as a hello ‘gift’?”  I looked at her accusingly.

“Look, Claude, I said I’m sorry. But it’s your fault. All your fault. I was lonely… and… and…” Knowing Sehanie, she was not sorry and its just pretending to be so. But I decided to play along, anyway.

“And you are desperate to touch me. All over my warm body?” I said that as I opened up my body for an embrace, though I never expect any. However, to my surprise, she did embrace me. I was taken aback and happy but it did not last long though. For her next words somehow pissed me off.

“Hmmm… I’m right. You are shorter than me. Still as short as I can remember.” I pushed Sehanie away.

“With a short temper too. Everything about you is short it seems. Short in height, short in temper… and perhaps short in… ehemmm.” Sehanie looked mischievously at me, with a certain attention my nether region.

“Hey, hey. Watch it. I know I’m short, but I ain't that short. One of these days, I’m going to be taller than you and I’ll carry you in my arms and show you good times, payment for all these while you’ve been calling me short.”

Sehanie blushed but continued giggled.

“This brings back memories. We use to bicker often, back when you were still a small boy. It never grew up on you”

“Shut up you, old hag. I ain't-a 100 plus years old with a long life like the rest of you elves.”

Sehanie knocked on my head. “I’m not old. In fact, I’m at a prime youthful elven age. Look at my hair and my figure. You can’t find it anywhere else in this forest”

“True enough.” Sehanie and I laughed.

“But, what brings you here?”

I asked Sehanie as I started to collect the woods for today and tied it up.

“Ohhh, just some usual scouting rounds. Nothing out of the ordinary.”

“I see.”  I took the woods and lifted it above my shoulder. It’s time for me to go back now.

“So, what you going to….”

“Shush Claude...”

“Hmmm? “ I looked at Sehanie, surprised by the sudden interruption.

“Can you listen to that voice?”

“What voice?”

“Just keep quiet and listen.” I then gathered all of my hearing skills which I’ve learned from the classes, but of which I’m not much good at. I closed my eyes and began to concentrate.

“H…….el……p…………m..eee….”

The voice faded away. It sounded distant and weak. But I could guess the meaning of the sound as clear as day.

“Someone is calling for help. By the looks of things, they are in trouble.”

Sehanie nodded confirming my earlier deduction. “So, it’s not just my imagination. You have some skills too with you, ehh Claude?”

I smiled wryly at her.

“We need to check it out. And fast.” I put down the pile of woods, gathered up my belonging, a sword and a canteen of water, together with my axe and ran towards the source of the voice.

“Come, Sehanie let’s hurry.” But I didn’t need to remind her. She was already on top of a tree, pointing towards the source of the voice and beckoned me.

“Hurry up, Claude.”

Who am I to tell her what to do in the forest? I smiled as I picked up my pace. Someone was in trouble and we needed to save them, now!!
