Chapter 07: Here Comes Claude, a Hero and a Romeo (Part 2)

Opps… I accidentally step on a trap set by Sehanie. It’s an elven made trap, so it’s pretty hard to take notice.

“Who’s there? You better be careful. I have set traps all around this area. One wrong move and you will be blown away!!”

I gulped. This was going to be tricky. As I was enjoying Sehanie’s beautifully sculptured body, I became careless and step on one of her traps.

I should have known that she would do such things. I cannot disarm it. So, my only option was to make a mad dash towards the opening between the trees before the trap set off and blew me away. One… Two… Now!!!

I ran as fast as I could and the trap set off. A burning flame formed and it exploded just right after.

Pheww… Luckily I managed to escape though I might have burnt my ass when the fire caught my pants. Luckily it’s not bad enough to burn through it and making a hole, but it did leave a burnt mark on the new tunic. Oh, my tunic. I’m so sorry.

“Claude, is that you?”

No, it’s not me… I’m not here. I realized that I’m still not safe yet. Not just yet.

“If it’s you, Claude, I’m going to squash your balls!”

Sehanie stood up, barely covering her big breasts. “Come here and show yourself, Claude!”

Cold sweat poured down from my forehead. My blood flowed from my upper half to lower half. It’s fight or flight reaction, and the only thing I can think off was to run away. To the safety of campfire site.

I ran towards the campsite and I barely got there when I saw Sehanie’s silhouette coming out from the path that she took earlier. Just in time.

“Claude, where were you?!”

I’m here, Sehanie. What’s the matter? I heard a commotion earlier. Did someone try to peep at you while you are bathing? Poor fella. He must be blown to pieces.

“It’s not you, Claude?”

Me?

I pointed at myself.

Nope, not me. I’m not interested. Besides, I have seen everything about you when I was younger, so nothing new to see right now.

I lied. I am dying to see her, naked in all her glory.

Sehanie seemed glum. What’s that all about? I expect a different reaction.

I was preparing some stakes to hunt the fish so we can have our dinner soon. Let me go catch ourselves some fish, right away.

I better get a move fast before she suspected anything else.

Sehanie looked at me without blinking her eyes.

“Sure, it was not you Claude? Who else can be here at this hour?”

I’m sure, Sehanie. Now dry yourself in front of the fire. Leave the fish catching to me.

Little did I know, that little burnt earlier at the back of my tunic told her who was the culprit right away. But, surprisingly, nothing happened to me. I wouldn’t know what gave me away, until much, much later when she told me about it. But I’ll save that part of the story for later, okay.

I got a couple of fish in my hands. And as I put them over the fire, I looked at Sehanie as she was drying her long, golden hair.

Your hair seems longer. Ever think of cutting it short?

“You like it short, Claude?”

Either way. In any way would be fine just as how you like it.

Sehanie pouted

Though I never see you with short hair before. A change of look would be good.

I smiled at her as the smell of the fish being roasted over the fire starts to penetrate the air.

“I will if you ever grow taller than me.”

We both laughed.

As we eat our fill, our night continued.

“Hey Claude, this is your first camp outside the Brotherhood right?” Sehanies asked, to break the silence.

Uh-huh.

“What do you think? I have so many already, but I want to hear from you since it’s your first.”

Hmmm… nothing special. It feels awkward at first especially when we need to divide our campsite jobs. Other than that, it’s normal. But the fish taste good, though.

“Ohhhhhh…. Is that so?” she looked somehow glum again. Was it because she failed to catch the peeping tom? He is right in front of you, but I ain’t going to put my neck on the chopping block to admit that.

Yeap. And the best of all….

Sehanie looked at me with starry eyes. Perhaps she was waiting for me to say something else.

I get to have a date with you Sehanie. Both of us, alone. Nothing beats a date with a beauty like you under the starry sky eating roasted fish. Hehehe.

I let out a mischievous laugh.

“Ohh, you are such a flirt Claude” vigour has returned to her complexion. Now, she was back to herself again.

She moved and then sat beside me.

“This is my first time too, Claude. To camp with a human on a journey. I have done a lot of camps, but mostly alone or with other elf scouts, but not once with a human yet. Glad my first time is with you, Claude.”

I feel my blood rising. Is this a confession or what?

“But don’t get me wrong. As long as you are shorter and weaker than me, you are just a little brother to me. So, don’t get ahead of yourself, alright?!”

Ohh… you cheeky elven brat. Don’t go and blow my steam just like that.

So, if I’m taller, you will treat me differently?

“We will see about that. And stronger too. Must be able to do things I can’t, you know.”

Well, I’m pretty strong. I did save you alright. Though I nearly lost my life and put you in danger too. And that girl, Princess Sierra.

“Yes, you are my hero, Claude. But I want you to always be my hero, not just that one time.”

Alright, alright. I get it already. You want a real man, that is taller and stronger than you to come and sweep you off from your miserable life?

I receive a nudge on my arm.

“Hey, my life is not miserable. I’m having fun right now. Though I wish there was a man like that for me, Claude.”

Well Sehanie, if you don’t mind waiting for me, I could be that man.

Sehanie stuck out her tongue.

“As if Claude. Teehee…”

Well, you are pretty strong yourself Sehanie. Tell me, what skills do you have?

“Why do you want to know?”

Shut it and tell me already. If I don’t know how strong you are, how will I help you to find that man, your knight, to save if you are ever in danger? At least let me gauge your skills, Sehanie. And who knows, if I’m stronger than you right now, I’ll sweep you off instead. Hahahaha.

“You sure about that? Don’t go and run away like a coward… just like ear… Ah, nevermind.”

Like what Sehanie?

“Nothing, let’s get back to our topic. My skills, ehemm… Let me see…”

Don’t hide anything from me. You can exaggerate a little, you know.

“Be quiet, Claude. Let me think…”

“Alright. First, I’m a bowmaster. I can shoot an arrow at a non-moving target, as small as needle’s head from more than 100 yards away. A movable object might be a little bigger than needle’s head, perhaps an apple size would do.”

Not bad… Impressive. Anything else?

“Other than my usual Wooden Elf innate and natural abilities, especially our keen senses, I’m good with nature magic and Sylphs summoning.”

Nature magic? Sylphs Summoning? What’s that?

“Let me show you instead.”

One by one, Sehanie showed me the extent of her powers. At first, she turned a seemingly normal plant into carnivorous and vinous, about normal human size plant. And then the plant was turned into one giant tree trunk of some kind.

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

“Nature magic, Poison Ivy and the one you see now, it is shield Treant. We use it to defend ourselves from various attacks, especially physical.”

“And for magic attacks, we have this…”

From Sehanie’s palm, came a magic seal and it forms into a small winged creature with a blue crystal of its head.

A sylph.

“This is Sylph summoning. This one we call Carbuncle. I can summon a few more of other types, but that’s enough for now.”

Anything else, Sehanie?

“I’m still learning wind magic, but not much to brag about really. Just a simple gust and wind spells. I’ll show you some other time.”

Surely, you have more on you, right?

“Other than that, I can hunt and track and set traps like the one you see just now.”

I can feel cold sweat dripping. That was same trap nearly blew me to pieces just now.

“And simple seal magic. You know, the one we use with our traps, on our items and such so that we can seal its property or guard our items”

I see. Sehanie was pretty strong. The quest to find her the right man might be harder than I thought.

“So, what about you Claude. What skills do you have? Tell me. I’ve been dying to know what the Brotherhood teaches you.”

Ehemm… Let me show you.

I stood up and took my sword out.

I’m going to show you the First Movement of the Sun Sword. Watch carefully, now.

This time I’ll be using a real sword, instead of my wooden practice sword. I put my sword over the fire to give it a glow, so it will have some sort of special effect and I begin to show Sehanie the full repertoire of my movement. At the very end, I formed some sort of a fiery wind slash that slashes through the water.

How about that, Sehanie?

“Wow, Claude. I'm amazed. You're quite good with a sword.”

You can say that again.

I give her my victory pose.

“Teehee… that stupid pose again.”

“Is there anything else you want to show me”

Nope. That’s all. I pretty much suck at magic and alchemy and worse still at lore and histories.

“Awww… that sucks.”

Hey, hey. Give me some time alright. I’ll be the best damn swordsmaster you will ever meet. I’ll master all the Sword Sun movement and I’ll be able to divide the river in two with a single slash. Just you wait and see.

“Yeah… I’ll wait for it, Claude. Promise me alright.”

Sure.

I gave her my victory pose again.

“Again with the stupid pose. Cut it out already!”

Nope. This pose is cool. You need to get one of yours. Perhaps you can squeeze and jiggle your big breast for your victory pose. That will turn an eye or two.

“Pervert!!”

We both laughed.

Time to hit the sack. Let’s sleep. I’ll sleep over here and you over there. So, who will take the first watch?

“We don’t need a watch. I have set traps all over the places. So, unless someone or something that foolish enough to this enter place and attacks us, they will be blown away before they know what happens.”

Whoah. She was scarily good. I wondered when she set the traps. I don’t want her as my foe or rub her on the wrong side. Never ever.

So, we shall sleep at our place then?

“Nope. I want to sleep beside you Claude”

I gulped.

Please, not that. I don’t know what will I do when I sleep with such a beauty like you Sehanie.

“Nah, you won’t do anything. You are too smart for that. Besides, I have my own protection from perverts. So, if they or you even try anything on me….”

Sehanie showed me a gesture that sent goosebumps to my groin. I understood that gesture well enough.

“Good night, Claude…”

Good night, Sehanie…

I give out a big yawn before my consciousness started fading. As Sehanie fell asleep beside me, I give a smile looking at her sleeping face. I’ll never grow tired of this beautiful face, ever.

“Claude… I know you were… peeping at me back then… Your butt was on fire… But for now, it’s ok… I’ll forgive you this one time….”

Was Sehanie talking to me in her sleep? So, she found out after all. Well, since she said she forgave me, I don’t have anything to worry about then. Perhaps.

I rub Sehanie’s hair before I too fell asleep.

-----

I have returned yet again to the land of boobies.

“Ohhh Claude, where have you been? We missed you, honey…”

Hohoho… this was the best. I love this place. I’m surrounded by beauties of my type. Loads of them surrounded me, all without a single thread in their bodies.

Come here, you green-haired vixen. Let me grab that big boobs of yours and feels it.

I groped her boobs and she left out a slight moan. Sexy and I know that she knows it too.

What’s your name, oh the one beautiful lady with long golden hair and big-breast? The Goddess of my lust and desire.

“I’m Sehanie”

Ohhh… you have the same name as that elven brat. You do look like her, though.

I squeeze her boobs and she left out another moan.

“A brat?”

Yeah. The Sehanie I know is an elven brat with huge breast, just like yours. And since you also look like her, let me personally feel more of you. Muahaha…

Let me nom-nom that huge melons of yours. I won’t get this in real life anyway, so let me have my fill in my own world.

“Where do you think you are touching, Claude?”

Where else, babe. Gimme those pair of yours and let me enjoy it.

I groped her breast and as soon as I puckered my lips, I got slapped. A slap so strong that it stung my whole body.

Suddenly, my boobie-land disappear.

Huh? Where am I? What happened to my boobie-land?

“This was what happened to your boobie-land, you massive, mega pervert. Sehanie’s hidden elf technique, Balls’ Crusher. Take that!!!”

Ughhhh… No… not my balls… It’s going to get crush.

“Then let it be crushed, you… you pervert”

As I opened my eyes, I saw Sehanie had lifted my legs up and squash my balls with her feet. Specifically, she was crushing me with her boot’s heel.

Ahhhh…. My balls… What the hell are you doing, Sehanie? Are you trying to kill me or what?! Let me go you crazy elf bitch!!

“I could ask you the same thing. Why did you grab my boobs early in the morning? And… And that pervert face of yours trying to…. to…”

It’s all a dream, Sehanie… It’s all a dream… I did not intentionally do it. It’s all in a dream. Let me go before my balls really get crushed.

“I don’t care you pervert. Take that some more!!”

Sehanie continued to torture me for as long as I can remember.

-----

Sniff… sniff… It hurts like hell, you…. you evil elven girl. I can’t feel my balls now. I can’t get married like this. No woman would ever want me, now.

I looked at Sehanie.

Returned me back my balls. If you ever crushed it, I’m not going to forgive you forever, you crazy female elf.

Sehanie pouted.

“That’s what you get for molesting me early in the morning. You are not my lover or husband to do that sort of thing.”

Who’s’ going to be your lover and marry you when you are crazy like this. Who’s on their right mind going to love a woman who will squash a man’s most important part when she’s pissed off.

“But you touched me first!”

I pouted back at her.

But it doesn’t hurt like how you hurt me. If I cannot perform in future, I’ll blame you. You… you will take the responsibilities if this ever happens.

Sehanie blushed and turned away. “Heh! I’ll never”

I turned my face away in disgust.

Hummphhh… suits yourself. I’m going alone. I think I’d be better off travelling alone than to be accompanied by a would-be assassin just because I touch your boobs. Even if I have nine lives, it ain’t cut it when I’m with you.

“Hey, Claude. Where do you think you are going?”

Far away from you. Anywhere but near you.

“Ohhh… Claude.” Tears started welling in Sehanie’s eyes but this time I don’t care.

Oh, stop it with that fake tears of yours. I’m already used to it. Cry me a waterfall, but I ain’t travelling with you anymore.

“Sniff… sniff.”

A while later, I was walking down the main highway that leads Elsevier. Although we called it a highway, but it’s no more than a dirt part that barely fits two caravan side by side at the same time. The sky was bright and the sun is sunny, but it’s not that hot. I have made good progress since morning.

A figure can be seen following me from behind.

Go away!

“Sniff… sniff.”

I stopped in my tracks. And the figure followed suit.

I said, go away!!!

The pain from this morning was still throbbing.

“Claude… Please”

No. No and no. And saying please would not change my mind either. I’ll go my way. You go yours. Shoo… Shoo…

I chased Sehanie away. She has been following me from behind since this morning. And since that time too, I have been trying to chase her away but to no avail.

“No… I won’t go. Just because you hate me and tell me to go away, I still won’t go away”

I don’t hate you, you stupid elf girl. I just want to be alone, that’s all.

“No, I’m still not leaving you”

Suit yourself.

Sigh. What a petulance nuisance Sehanie could be.

After a while, I reached a crossroad. There was a sign erected between the crossroad.

Left: To Elsivier, 30 miles.

Right: To M…e…l…

I can’t seem to make out the sign at the moment. Well, not that it matters since I’m heaving to Elsivier anyway. I’ll just take a turn to the left, then…

“Ahhh…”

I turned away, looking at the source of the voice. I saw Sehanie and she misplaced her steps, lost her balance and fell down.

Sigh… What a clumsy elf.

I walked towards her.

You alright Sehanie?

She did not answer me. This elf was stubborn as a mule it seems. First, she was trying to get my attention. And now she had my attention, she acted all snobbish. Should I leave her here, then? That will teach her a lesson.

You know, for an elf, you are pretty much a very clumsy one. There’s nothing here that will trip you and there you go and lose your balance. So much about your tracking and hunting skills, ehh Sehanie.

She still did not respond. She was rubbing her swollen ankle and holding back her tears. It seemed that she just sprained her ankle from that fall. Looking at her like this, I felt a sense of pity for her. I squat down in front of her, with my back facing her.

Ride my back, I’ll carry you.

I looked back at her while waiting for her response.

Sehanie shook her head. Still stubborn even though she just sprained her ankle.

Look, Sehanie. I don’t know about you, but I’m a man that does not leave a distressed woman all by herself. Now, I got a journey to make and if you are not letting me carry you, I’ll leave you, right here, right now… all by yourself. So, take your pick.

I turned away, my back still facing her while waiting for her response yet again. But I don’t have to wait too long. I could feel long and slender arms wrap my chest from the back.

I smiled. Looks like she did give in after all.

That’s a good girl. Now, hold yourself steady, we need to make a distance before nightfall. So, hold on tight.

Sehanie nodded from behind. I could feel her warmth and softness behind my back. A woman was still a fragile creature, after all. When she was this quiet, she can be pretty cute. I can see that she was blushing because I was carrying her on my back, but she was no longer crying.

“Thank you, Claude”

No problem, Sehanie.

Before long, the sun reached its highest peak. It’s noon and we were taking our first break since this morning.

How’s your ankle now, Sehanie? Is it any better?

“A little better. Thank you, Claude.” She turned away, blushing.

What are you blushing about anyway, Sehanie? I thought to myself.

Well, I couldn’t leave you there all alone right. And, you can’t walk with your ankle like that, and I need to reach Elsivier soon. So, whether I like it or not, I will have to carry you.

Sehanie looked down. She seemed somehow sad. The changes of her facial expression from happiness to sad was quite startling. What’s wrong with Sehanie, anyway?

No worries, I’ll carry you until your leg is all heal. Till then, please use my back. Hahaha.

I tried to lighten up the situation.

And I’m…. I’m sorry from before alright. I know… I shouldn’t do that. So… please forgive me, ok.

Sehanie gives a slight smile. It seemed so awkward now, the moment between us. I couldn’t help but ponder what was in Sehanie’s mind. But, unfortunately, I could not even ponder far enough.

Suddenly, I heard some movement came rushing towards us.

Sehanie! Prepare yourself!!!

Sehanie drew her arrow and I prepared my sword in advance, as we anticipated an attack of some sort. But it was not an attack. What came to us was a group of some small animals running away, from something.

I wonder what made those animals scared until they have to run away?

And I have my answer, not soon after.

BOOM!

An explosion!

I heard a loud explosion coming from the other side of the forest, not too far from where we were resting. It’s on the main path that leads to Elsivier.

“Look, Claude, up the in the sky!”

I looked up and I saw a flock bird flying away from trees.

“What is it, Claude? What might cause this?”

I don’t know, Sehanie. But, let’s check it out. Looks like there could be some trouble ahead.

As we dashed along towards the explosion, my memory of previous battle played in my mind. I tried to shake it off, but I couldn’t help to wonder what if it’s that same creature again. I looked at Sehanie, and perhaps catching on what I was thinking about, said,

“It’s alright, Claude. I don’t think this is that same monster again.”

But how would you know?

“I… I just know. Anyway, just be careful, Claude”

I nodded. I need to be calm here. Come what may.

After a while, we saw a clearing. In front of us, there was an overturned caravan and a crowd of people; all of them wearing red hoods and black costume of some sort. It looked like there were a group of people, surrounding something, or perhaps, someone.

Wait, Sehanie. Let’s not go straight into them just yet.

We halted and took some cover behind the bushes.

Let’s see what is happening first. Then only we will take action.

“Alright, Claude!”

We observed the situation that was unfolding before us.
