The World Of Astrevia

The next test was a magic test, but since Travis had no idea about that he didn't do it. The last test was the hardest. Which was a spar with the examiner. Jim was excited to fail Travis, so he went and took two wooden swords, but he made sure to take one that was broken, meaning if they had the slightest clash it would break.

He gave it to Travis, who the very same second he held it knew it was broken. He looked at Jim and sighed. Understanding his intentions, but he wasn’t going to let him win this.

" Alright here at the rules. In order to win, you need to disarm or render your opponent to not be able to continue. You cannot use anything but your sword okay. Now let's begin "

Jim immediately ran towards Travis ready to break his sword but Travis evaded him to the side. He walked off and stood on the other side.

' Well, if I can't cut him I'll scare him 'he thought as he smirked.

Jim was about to move when he felt death standing at a distance, he looked up at Travis’s eyes and saw the death glare in them. He was immediately shaken to his core as he tried to step back. Travis vanished from sight and appeared behind with the sword pointed at his back.

" Pass me or I'll turn you into that wooden dummy over there " He said, the words were like needles to his back making Jim quickly nodd.

Travis then smiled as he lowered his Mana. Jim fell to his knees as that feeling passed, he had pissed his pants he wasn't afraid to admit.

' This kid is not to be messed with ' he thought

He stood up and went into his room as he stamped his ticket, he gave it to Travis with a smile " You pass" he said with a hint of fear in his tone.

Travis took the ticket with a smirk" Thanks man , you were a really great examiner" he said and walked away leaving Jim to breathe freely.

' I'm quiting this job ' he thought.

Travis walked back to the guild building with his ticket, he gave it to Tim who was stunned seeing as he was passed.

' What did he do to Jim?'he wondered to himself. He didn't bother asking questions. He got up and went to the back. He then came back with Travis’s adventurer card.

' Nice. Well time to find a library 'he thought as he walked out the guild. He looked left then right. 'Hmm yeah I should ask for directions '

......

He arrived at a library, it was small but he didn’t care for that. All he wanted was knowledge on this world. He found a few books that would explain everything to him.

The world of Astrevia. A vast and magnificent planet, brimming with wonders and untamed magic, was divided into five major continents, each unique in its own right. To the east lay the Elven Continent, a land of ancient forests and timeless beauty. In the west sprawled the Dwarven Continent, its rugged mountains and deep mines rich with the treasures of the earth. To the north, the Dragon Continent stretched across vast, icy plains and towering peaks, where majestic and fearsome dragons ruled the skies. Far to the south was the Forgotten Continent, shrouded in mystery and secrets long buried in its dense jungles and hidden ruins.

At the heart of the world sat the Human Continent, the smallest of them all, but by far the most powerful. It was home to the Golden Empire, an unrivaled force ruled by the most powerful individual to ever walk the land, whose influence stretched across Astrevia.

Travis sighed ' I guess they wrote this book' he thought.

In this world all four power houses live together in harmony. Forming a bond that could never be broken.

The most powerful beings in Astrevia are known by few, but their names are spoken in reverence across the world:

1. Rowan Sinclair.

2. Valdrakhan Inferno.

3. Sylrithiel Starweaver.

4. Thrain Stonefist.

Together, they represent the pinnacle of power, living in harmony and balance. However, their peace has been shattered by the emergence of a dark and enigmatic enemy: the Vermillion King. A being from a realm beyond comprehension, his presence is a threat none could have foreseen. Even with all their strength combined, the four mighty individuals struggle to fathom how such a foe could ever be defeated.

The Vermillion King appeared five years ago on a remote island, far from any known civilization. The moment he stepped foot into this world, Astrevia trembled—its very core shaken by his malevolent presence. The four of them, the SS-Class beings, were the only ones able to sense the depth of his malice, drawing them together to confront this terrifying adversary. But despite their combined efforts, they remain no closer to understanding how to vanquish this new and powerful threat.

Travis closed the book with a soft snap and placed it carefully back on the shelf, the faint smell of aged paper lingering in the air. He ran his fingers along the rows of books, scanning the spines, searching for something that might explain Mana in more detail.

The soft glow of enchanted candles illuminated the dust motes floating lazily in the air, but after a few minutes, he found nothing that seemed to fit. His frustration grew, and he sighed before approaching the librarian’s desk.

She looked up from her work, her eyes glowing with an ethereal light as she raised a hand. A faint hum filled the air, and with a graceful motion, a book slid off the shelf and floated into his waiting hands.

Travis nodded in appreciation, murmuring a quick "Thank you."

With the book clutched in his hands, he made his way to the back of the library, the quiet rustle of pages echoing as he passed rows of ancient tomes. He settled into a chair, the wood creaking beneath him, and opened the book. The cover was worn, its edges softened by time, but the text inside seemed to shimmer, as if the words themselves had a pulse.

“Alright, time to understand this,” he muttered to himself, his eyes narrowing as he began reading, the complexity of Mana drawing him in deeper with every page.
