Nightmares became really easy after the system upgraded my Tiger Slash to Ferocious Tiger's Rend. I wonder what Voidlings will be like
Let's check out this pet system first. I always loved pets back on earth... Earth... I'm not sure for how long i've been gone for, not even sure if I wanna go back. I don't recall having anyone who'd miss me really.
Once the host has completed a creature's line of fighting quests, the host has a chance to obtain this creature as a pet.
As their master, you will instinctively be able to find them wherever they are. You will also be required to properly feed and raise your pets, as they are not bound to you. If they dislike you, they will leave. The system keeps track of their likes and dislikes for this reason, once the host has discovered them.
Let's put those thought aside. So this little guy is my pet now? I feel like I can sense its feelings.
"Hey buddy, how are you?"
I hope he doesn't know how many of his kind I just killed...
He seems a little unresponsive.. maybe the babies can't hear well?

That's... great. I guess a monster is a monster after all.
"Do you have a name?"
It shakes its head
"Then I shall name you Gunther" It immediately lunges towards me, in a new attempt to bite my hand.
"Ok ok ok stop, stop. No Gunther. I get it."
"Are you a girl? How about Millie?" It bares its fangs and lets out a soft hiss.
"Ok that's a clear no."
"Are you a girl?"
It shakes its head.
"A boy?"
It also shakes its head.
Oh it might be one of those genderless creatures.
"How about Sam?"
It takes a moment consider it, before slowly bobbing its head up and down.
"Oh you like Sam? Well then, nice to meet you Sam. My name is Henry, let's be friends."
I wonder how strong Sam will get.
As Sam is a baby, he... she? It? ... Let' s go with "it" I suppose. It can probably make use of my old cultivation pills which are too weak to really help me now.
"Hey Sam, I have a snack for you!" I hold out my hand with a basic Qi sensing pill on it.
"Yeah, there you go. This will help you get big and strong!"
Sam seems to notice the effect of the pill, as it quickly goes to lie down on the ground and, I assume, cultivate.
I should leave Sam be for a bit.
