We started to head to the back side of the auction. Chrollo fell over a bit. His breathing was shaky. Face unchanging however. I however was fine physically. He looked at his chest and sighed.

"I don't have classes tomorrow either. So no rush for me to go back to my dorm. Gemini this is extremely selfish but this is the most convenient way." He said this while looking at my shoes. I leaned in.

"Are you able to provide temporary shelter for me? I should be able to fix myself up, I can stop the bleeding for now but not sure how long that will last." Chrollo said while on his knees. His jacket had a bit of redness in it now.

*drip*

'Well... I guess so, just do me some favors and i'll be okay with your temporary holiday.'

His jacket was getting more red and Chrollo's breathing was getting worse. The moonlight displayed our features quite well. Even the night sky wasn't that dark. His pale skin was even brighter and more beautiful.

I grab him by the shoulder and start to carry him. He has his hand over his chest. The bleeding for now seemed to have been closed off for now.

'Let me ask you this, so you talked about classes.. are you a college student?'

I just need to know when he's available.

"Yes, I have a degree and live in the dorms. Any reason for your inquiry?" I can tell he still is worn out but he could still take a beating. Probably.

'Just some mental notes..'

"The only keeping you and me apart is the two minutes it will take to kick your ass." I looked back to see who this man is.

Oh great, a 6'1 bald guy who resembles that Bane guy and sounds the same. Probably is him.

'Hey, let's like. um. Talk over this like rational people.' He started to dash towards me, sort of like how football players do.

I really do not want to deal with this right now, especially since Chrollo is a bit injured and he has a Hyperion cloak on. Yup.. this is going to be painful.

I dashed sideways and dropped Chrollo. I can still fight but this guy will be trouble. I have a gun on me but that's about it. His cloak can disrupt any of my bullets, rendering them pointless.

*SWOOSH*

I just nearly avoided that punch aimed towards my head. I jumped back and onto a car. Just one good opportunity and I can at the very least run away from this guy.

Bane adjusted his cloak to be forward. I'll probably just have Chrollo act as my human shield if something goes mildly wrong here.

I take out my gun.

*BAM*

Bane just punched the the front of the car I was on. I jumped back and shot towards his head.

*MUNCH*

"Some competition you are.." he says this while one of his eyebrows is raised.

'What the actual fuck?'

He just.. bit the bullet and it broke completely. Not harming him. I've never seen this happened before. No wonder why this guy is so hard to kill if he does stuff like this.

I really need to get out of here now. Leave Chrollo behind and hope he goes after him instead.. Wait that's it!

'You know, there's a injured guy I was beating up earlier.. you should um totally go after him instead of me.'

I doubt this will work but it's worth a shot.

"The only thing keeping you and me apart is the 45 seconds it will take for me to kick your ass." He said while approaching me.

Well.. that didn't work out needless to say. This guy speaks in a weird way so I hoped he would be dumb enough to go for it but nope. I'm sure Chrollo at this point ran away since this is the perfect time to do so. Bane is targeting me for some reason as well. He hasn't pulled out any guns yet so I think he's trying to keep me alive for something.

*ZOOOM*

He moved extremely fast to the side then behind me. I barely even saw his afterimage. He definitely has an exo suit.

"They said to bring you in. Nothing about you being alive." His voice ringing behind me. I barely even processed this happening and now i'm really screwed.

He grabbed onto me and-

*SNAP*

I let out a scream of pain while he broke some bone in my back.

*THUD*

I got thrown right into a car, denting it? It hurts so much now. Also I am so fucked at this point now.

Glimmer fading away.

Light fading away.

He slowly walked towards me.

I let out a moan of pain again. Knowing what will happen next. Nothing pleasant. HEY! at least I won't die alone technically.

Bane fell over and didn't respond?

I then see a metal rod that has blood on it.

"Sorry for abandoning you like that, i'll make sure it doesn't happen again." Chrollo said looking down at down at me. Wait does Chrollo actually care about well being now? Or is this another trick?

I start to pick myself back up. The pain is definitely there but I can sort of walk. Nothing seems to be bleeding so that's good..

'Thanks for trying to appear like, wait why did you save me? Is this another one of your schemes to emotionally manipulate me again? I don't need your pity and I can take care of my self.'

"No, nothing like that, I figure you still wouldn't trust me.." He said looking at me with the same reserved expression still. He seemed like he wasn't sure where to look. Holding his chest. I just now noticed but his glasses are gone. Faker!

'I'll take my car back to my apartment. Hope you like it you loser!' I started to grin. Chrollo followed me, seeming unbothered by my remark.

The path to my car wasn't too far off, this area we're in has a modern path design but no one seems to be here.

I see police cars and news reporters all around us. I was still carrying Chrollo with one arm, while Chrollo was doing the same to me.

"Hello, what is your survival story" some guy said to while putting his mic all up in my face.

'I.. I have to pee on him. GOODBYE.'

That'll work, the reporter seemed to back off. We started to speed walk hoping no further attention would be placed on us. The entrance has a bunch of security guards from what I glanced at. They SURE didn't seem to do anything when they were needed.

Walk walk walk walk.....

... And there! my car that's unharmed. Chrollo remained silent for all of this and I don't know if I like that or not. I unlock my car and Chrollo sits next to me in the passenger seat.

Now thinking about it, he's the first person that's ever been in my passenger seat or any other seat.

'Be proud Chrollo, you're the first person who's ever been inside my car other than me and the people I tortured to death!'

"Really? you seem quite lonely, more than I thought you were." He said in a very relaxed voice. His voice the more I hear it, sounds like it's always about to betray you.

I start the car up and prepare to head back.

I looked around the room, not sure why I expected the living room to be any different. I then took off my shoes and put them on the carpet near my door. I ordered some tacos earlier when we were in the car. It should be arriving at my door several minutes by now. I ordered 7 steak tacos for everyone. Well, I'll give chrollo 2 tacos since I'm feeling generous today.

'The food should be coming soon, also you're paying for it!' Wonder how much money he has.

"Alright.." He said while glancing around the area.

We sat down on the couch. I looked at my phone which was on 40%. Might as well charge it when I go inevitability go to sleep.

Chrollo was still looking around the room with his arm on his chest. Which reminds me that I need to fix that.

I get back up and look for some tape to stop it. The tape should be... in one of the cabins in my kitchen. I walk towards one of the cabinets while glancing back at Chrollo. I still can't FULLY trust this guy but I imagine he would have done something by now if he was planning on harming me physically. Chrollo was starting at the wall then notices me. He doesn't say or do anything.

I glance back towards my kitchen and open up one of the cabinets.... Eventually I find the tape and walk back to the living room.

The floor didn't make a specific sound, especially since i'm wearing socks right now. Although I should clean the floor soon. It's just standard iron? wait no.. ummm. I have no idea what this floor is made exactly out of but it's normal grey stuff. Although my room has the brown soft floor fluff stuff.

"Is there anything.. less painful than tape to wrapped around me?" Chrollo asked, now breaking his silence and gaze.

'Nope.' I smirked at him. I'm not normally a sadistic person but I am looking forward to whenever he takes the tape off eventually. Nothing too major should happen once he does that. Also it's not like the tape is THAT strong.

Chrollo got the message fully and lowered his head. I look down and Chrollo did take his shoes off and had grey socks on. He had everything else on.

'How long will it take for you to get another pair of glasses?' I asked him while looking out the door with the tape still in my hand.

"I have another pair of glasses at my dorm room incase this happens again. No need to worry. Can I ask you this, what do you preferred to be called by?" He asked, looking straight at my face for an answer.

'Gemini I guess.. Dude you can drop the formalities with me. I'm not that classy of a person anyway.' I asked while moving closer to him. I leaned forward and realized my spine injury is still here. Owwww.....

"Pardon me then, Gemini." His face seems to always have the same calm but slightly happy expression.

'Alright, this shouldn't take long, just take off your jacket.' I told him while unraveling the tape.

Chrollo did as told and also took off his undershirt.

He's in decent shape, normal stomach, well minus the fact that's it still bleeding out.

I wrap the tape around the area of bleeding.

The bleeding stopped and Chrollo made a slight sound of relief. He didn't have any shirt that he didn't bleed in so he still had nothing covering his stomach.

I put the tape on the table in front of us and sit back down.

'How old are you?'

"I'm 19."

So he's two years younger than me. I figured he was around that age. I'm not getting to let my insecurities back in again now knowing that a 19 year old has apparently accomplished more in life than I ever will. Yup....

I didn't say anything after that. Then the door rang.

I'm guessing this is the pizza guy.

I look at the peephole and. Oh.. FUCK!

"Gemini! I hope this pizza will finally be the thing to get you to love me back!" He said while doing his ugly smile.

Meet basement dweller. He's an adult male who is obese, obsessed with anime, and unconditionally loves me. He's definitely my least favorite and most favorite out of my clients. On one hand, he and Gemma are the only two people in my life who show any affection towards me. On the other hand, this guy is annoying.

'Yes... thank you. I'm opening up the door.' He couldn't see it probably but I made the biggest eye roll ever.

"It's your birthday today right? how old are you my petite cute tsudere lover?" I was still looking though the peephole of my door. I really should just buy one of those cameras to see better but I keep forgetting.

'It's not my birthday today and i'm 21 years old.' Hope he can detect the annoyance in my voice right now.

"GAH! TOO OLD. Well... that won't stop me still..."

Wow... this guy just keeps proving every negative stereotypes against anime fans. Well time to unlock the door and hope this guy doesn't do anything.. Since when did he get a job?

'Thanks, now please don't bother me.' I said while opening the door and taking the box from his hands.

"Hope this works..." he said while I was closing the door with one hand.

I put the box down on the table and look at Chrollo.

Chrollo was looking at me. Wide-eyed.

"Does this normally happen?" He said while still not breaking his glance.

'Sometimes, I have random people like this bother me. Not sure if I should include you in that list as well...' I started to walk over to the kitchen so I can wash my hands. Chrollo did the same.

After preparing, I grabbed a plate and started to grab the pepperoni pizza. I grabbed 7 of the 9 pieces. Chrollo's stomach growled when he realized that he was only getting two slices.

'I don't care if you're starving, I need to eat up first.' I told him while he was looking down at my plate.

"Do you really need all of that food?"

'Honestly, no, I'm eating so much because I feel like it. Now just enjoy your two slices and we'll all be good!' I told him while smiling at my plate.

"You're surprisedly selfish Gemini. Or is there something you want me to do." Chrollo asked while looking at me.

'I don't care if i'm a jerk or you hate me, I deserve having prizes given to me. That and i'm being pretty considerate right now, you probably don't need the food or money that much either. Also you're still paying, remember?' I said while grabbing my first slice.

Chrollo sighed and grabbed his slice.

I may be selfish, but I don't care at all. What's wrong with focusing on yourself and not others. Dumb people focus on others before them.....

We ate up and I threw my paper plate away.. That hit the spot...

Chrollo already did that before I did and looked at me while I was eating, being fascinated. I guess at how much i'm eating..

Now to change into my sleep clothes and go to sleep. Chrollo implied that he would be staying over so I guess he'll sleep on the couch.

Jeez... I forget that around this time of the night, everywhere in my complexly gets decently cold from the air conditioning. Except for my bedroom.

"Does your complex normally end up getting this cold?" he asked looking at me.

'Yeah, it does this.'

"Do you have any shirts or covers for me to borrow?" He asked.

'Actually.. yeah.. Oh right, I'm not giving anything to you but shelter. You'll mange. Also you're sleeping in the living room or anywhere that isn't in my bedroom.' I told him

His eyebrows lowered with a curve.

'Hey, if you don't like it you can find somewhere else to sleep. I prefer having as much room and warmth to me as possible. Also you can put your arms over your chest if you feel cold. Also don't bother me while i'm in my room. Also don't get anything out of my refrigerator. You can use the bathroom though, just don't shower in it since you'll be using the hot water instead of me. Also don't watch tv, it runs my electrical bill up by 2.63%, that actually goes for everything. Now because i'm feeling generous today.. I'll allow you to to sleep on the couch instead of the floor.' I told him while he started to increasingly shiver more. I bet he's not actually cold and trying to manipulate me into feeling bad for him. Like that will work!

'Good night chrollo.' I said while entering my room and closing the door. Every light minus my bedroom was off so I guess Chrollo was in the dark. He'll manage.

I do the preparations and fall asleep.
