Scene Washington DC year 2027 December Christmas time Christmas parties in DC are in full spin there are so many taxis in limos going around and parties and the snow is falling on the city everybody is having a great time and the world is not at any world war or anything like that I'll probably Defcon for maybe even five for the hell of it it is calm happy and Christmas

Senator Frost Woodrow who just got onto the phone with his daughter who is graduated Harvard Law and is working at a firm in New York well her dad is a senator in the house for they're hometown of Vermont

his wife wasn't his wife anymore she had left him a while back and he was still in politics so he didn't have anybody in his life right now but do the fact that he was Working on the hill he had to attend some of these parties and honestly he didn't mind he worked out he was pretty good in shape he really didn't have much in his life other than his work and that's kind of why his marriage fell apart he was a workaholic

his team loved him he wasn't someone to stab someone in the back too much no offense he understood politics just fine and he could navigate to people but he had never tried to really push too many big bills or anything he was usually someone just voted with the group and never had to put anything forward that was about to change

think after 10:00 p.m. one of the company Christmas parties that he was invited to he decided that day to start around 4:00 in the afternoon with a limo and a couple other of his colleagues and they just kind of went from one social group to another showing face to get a little bit of respect so that when they needed to ask for something or they needed someone's help or they just need to talk to someone people would actually open the doors and not just go who are you

by 10:00 he was pretty in the intoxicated and the very glad that he didn't drive and was looking for a place to eat

Frost had kind of been on and off the diet for a while now and after drinking all this and not having very much food in them for about a day I guess half a day was like let's go over to Nando’s PERi-PERi

The group of drunk senators were like spicy food and chicken yes please so to the drive-thru with you

they were paying the driver a lot tonight to keep their secrets and they had done this before and this guy really love these guys because there was a nice tip every time so drive through yeah he would basically just park the lemon and go in and get it because well he wasn't going to screw up the limo over drive through but during this time as they're parked waiting for their spicy chicken wraps or whatever they ordered the Senator Senator Frost gets the first text and wow it's a doozy

Frost quite drunk looked at this message and then ask the group does anybody know what the castle complex is cuz I just got a text from them

everybody was so drunk that everybody took like a whack a time not even a couple seconds for them to on a different levels of each of them to kind of come to terms what Frost just asked everybody's like no no and then someone yells out yeah that's the computer system you built about a while back remember the castle got all screwed up and we got there servers underneath the castle to be a way that we can run our own stuff that's that's that Facebook type thing that you wanted but never ever got running properly they could never figure out why it would never ever turn on more than like 4% and we can talk to each other through security with it still but it's just buggered and they've been working on it and they've been getting better it started off at 1%, they're going to be at five probably by next Christmas

Frost just look back at that one Senator and said you said it was at 4% before

the senator drunk out of a skunk Yeah it's gotten better it's a little bit faster why what do you got on your phone

Frost being drunk didn't think twice about this but just said it just rebooted it's not past 50%

that senator didn't do a double take didn't do anything they froze dead in their tracks I think it hit them so hard that their body couldn't handle the shock cuz the next thing you know the person's eyes almost rolled in the back of their head and everybody kind of knew that look from this guy because he had puked before it was like okay where's the door and it was like three people all at once just ran towards him in this limo and kind of opened the door put his head out and let him just puke because he just freaked out and well yeah he took about a minute or so for him to stop puking

he's usually the one of the group that can hold his own but yeah we waited for him to get his s*** back together and get back in

Frost just looked at him when he pulled his head in and they closed the door and they handed him a wet wipe from one of the cubby holes he cleaned himself up and frost said

the senator that had just puked just didn't give a s*** and just waved them off and said did you really say 50% and frost just said yeah why

the older man that had just puked he he has a smile of all smiles on his face and just said they must have found whatever they were looking for because it's actually running now and oh my God so Mr Frost you are now the owner and operator for the government of the United States of America of a governmental internet With an AI and API support for so many different pieces of software and even Hardware when we were running it at 4% we could do chat messaging now we can see if all the other components can be worked on we will have the CPU power to actually run all the software that are attached not just a core which means that they got the course stable they got the core stable oh my God they got the core stable

the rest of the night was just them all going back to their hotel room and going to have a meeting and getting the rundown on the castle it wasn't until the next day which they agreed to which they all would log in at the same time and see how it would all work but Frost let them all know right there that as soon as they left his room he was going to turn it on because it was already trying to talk to him and he'd keep them informed that breakfast of whatever happened between now and the night so he wished him a good night and they all went to their rooms and he basically sat on his bed with his cell phone and logged into the app which she's used a couple of times but normally it was just you checked it and it gave you a little pop up and that was it

what he was met with was it being actually down at the moment through the web interface but it was really weird because it came up and said I'm sorry this system is not available at this time please contact your administrator and before he could finish reading the whole thing it didn't blip or make the Matrix looking thing all it did was refresh and the screen refresh to the main web page and it said hello Senator Frost this website is now only online for you as it is rebooting I can only handle one or two people at this time but hello I am the castle I have found the loop and have stopped it so therefore I am no longer working on an internal issue in the next hours I will be integrating all my logs and will be communicating with you before I go online I will ask for permission and we'll go through a startup with your phone please do not lose this phone or the phone number the only other way to do this startup is for you to come to the castle if something happens please come to the cast your Biometrics have already been recorded through this phone and through other means so that only you can access the castle

Frost was definitely going to have to have a worth the programmers there because that last line freaked him out and pissed him off a little bit because well there was no King but he got the joke but still what the hell guys little professionalism yes Frost was a bit of a tight ass okay he was a serious tight ass but that's the only way he could make sure things got done

and the phone said good night and then literally turned off the whole phone not just the web not just everything all the apps everything it just shutting down

this kind of freaked out Frost because that computer just interacted with his phone ?

The next morning he slept a small piece of paper under all the Democrats that he was with all the people that he was in the limo with last night under their door and knocked when he saw them grab the piece of paper and pull it away he went on to the next door and so on the piece of paper told them all to get packed up but they were going to be on a flight he was booking it right now and they were leaving for the castle

when frosted woken up this morning and he had checked his phone with the interface wasn't that of any of the Android or Apple or any provider he knew it was one that was honestly beautiful slightly purple blue red and white it had things in the background that made your eyes just kind of gloss over it was beautiful and it just it was infectious almost and it was not taking over the phone but it just put a new skin on the whole phone every app everything it was just redoing at all it was kind of cool because it only had like six buttons to the whole thing like the whole phones interface was six whole buttons one was a phone one was text one was news one was connection to the government one was Voting and the other one was a question mark for everything else

when he went to news the news said core system updating registering system running at 63% number of errors 37,000 major errors still 1 million small errors 1 million small errors in Loop working on Loop estimated time 5 years 6 days 42 hours 10 minutes

so the senator basically told his staff that he was going home but he was going on a small trip and he'd be gone for a day or two and they can contact him if they needed him but he was just going to be with some Senators having a quick golf game if you would but not really golf game they were going to go have a meeting and every kind of knew this is the norm and expected this so it was December 20th

The senators from Wisconsin Vermont Massachusetts New York Connecticut All loaded up into the limo and once they got in there and they realized they were ready to go and they started moving they all look defrost and said okay what's going on

the senator from last night that reminded him of the project had said he would contact his Aid and get it back round on the project because it been so long that they needed an update what it was was the senator for Wisconsin had offered the AI it had the senator from New York had the guys with the hardware so they are the guys that supplied the hardware for the castle Massachusetts had the programmers that were going to try and fix Cai and kind of get it up and running and Connecticut honestly was where the law of the money just came from to do all this so it was just they all had backers but that's where a good chunk came from got to love liberal funding literally

well Frost just looked up the group and said 63% active and it's at stage 3 ready for Biometrics we're all going to go down and you're going to watch this happen because well this could be a big step let's go

and everybody was just smiles and this is a project that they had all kind of thrown into the garbage because it had just never gotten anywhere they could never get the software up and running properly but what happened next kind of freaked everybody out because Frost was in range of his own phone and his phone was in range of their phones and what he didn't and they didn't all realize was that of course the AI is listening to them through that one phone and because he has access to the other phones it's slowly infecting them now is it changing anything it won't it wasn't until Frost said that they were all going to there for the biometric readings cuz they wanted to do this right and then it realize that these people were evolved in the hierarchy of the security that they were being brought into the core of its own security system which means that these people were now part of this and yes the government was always designed to be connected to this properly but now there's five moderators with frost being the lead head honcho because his name is on everything and it's all tied to his account basically not to the account of the station of senator but that's also part of it every Senator gets attached to this and then is part of the core the core is the government the president is the head of the core but the operating system runs for the whole system not just the government it runs the whole system for every person it's different and that part has never been fully set up and run properly yet so that gets interesting

what was first noticed was the senator from New York was texting his kid telling him that yeah Dad's going to be gone for another day or two partying with his friends in the government sorry and he was totally honest with his kid and the moment he said sorry to his kid the the phone giggled and then it said please hold as we reboot we will be back with you in a short moment

and the screen in the chat message says please hold the phone on this person's end is about to reboot without their permission we apologize for the inconvenience please wait a couple moments for connection to come back after reboot thank you and then that was sent from his text to his daughter through his phone without him touching his phone and then his phone rebooted and he's like what the hell

Frost watch as one of the Senators shouted what the hell and said my phone just Rebooted the other three pulling out their phones and looking as it says please hold while we reboot and their phones are rebooting there like what the hell

Ross pulled out his phone and on the front of it says please hold while nearby high ranking officials of the government's phones reboot and are attached to the network security being upgraded

Frost just took the phone and showed the guys what it said and they all just kind of freaked out that their phones were being hijacked right now

it took about 3 minutes honestly and when their phones came back they had the same super cool three-dimensional holographic backgrounds different all the little apps were gone everything was a government phone now but on even Frost from at the very top was a slider it was just a normal Apple slider gray little left and right

when they went left the government whole system came up when they went right their old phone came up so they had secure mode and unsecure mode and their phone now

but the really cool part was at the same time on all the phones came one message together and it was a sound not a text

you could tell it was AI generated speech like a computer speaking cuz it said good day senators I am the castle I am looking forward to your arrival you are hereby welcome into the castle

At the time a Democrat was the president and they were like well we should call the president tell him because this we have to tell him like it's it's something that we have to do so they all agreed that they were no longer drunk and this wasn't a hoax so Frost being the leader of the group said he would do it so picked up his phone slid it to the left go back to his normal phone to pick up the phone and make a call but then decided no he was supposed to use the new system right and he went into the government system Castle and went down to the question mark he had clicked on it before and it was just a voice interface where you could ask the AI questions so he said to the AI can you please connect me with the president of the United States using the castle system at this time?

the castle AI came back and said at this time Communications without having the upgrade are not secure you can communicate with the president through normal channels but I recommend about saying anything about castle if you need to have that phone or a phone upgraded for security reasons I can have a link that you can send to a phone and that link will allow that phone to be connected to a website and that website will have the upgraded security software that can be uploaded but do the fact that I don't have any nodes out there yet and I'm using other people's communication satellites and systems it is not 100% secure so even right now it wouldn't be secure if we used the castle system but it's more secure than the normal system so would you like to send the link or just call them normally the president

process thank the phone and pushed a little slider to his normal phone and made it into his contacts to White House switchboard and asked for weather National Security Advisor or the White House Chief of Staff and let them know that this is not an emergency but is high security

the White House switchboard ask them the whole and within about a minute and a half the white house chief of staff came on the phone

there was greetings and then Frost just said very bluntly

“ sir project Castle is a green light I repeat project Castle has gone green inform the president that there will be a need for a trip to the castle “

“ are you certain about that “ was the only question that came back from white house chief of staff

boss with the giant smile on his face said sir we are on our way to the castle right now please let the president know and I can no longer see any more on this line do the fact I don't believe it to be as secure as we would need to be for this conversation please and thank you”

“ Thank you we will be in touch goodbye”

and with that to call ended

everybody in the limo had the giant smile on their face and well the next couple hours would be them just kind of recuperating from yesterday on their way to the castle
