The Revelry
(Here is a drinking game to help with the Space Pirate theme. Drink a shot of your favorite high alcohol content booze every time you see the phrase ‘The Revelry’. Take two to start out with for the two previous mentions of it. Remember to drink responsibly.)
Faction Summary –
The Revelry is a very loose confederation of innumerable criminal, mercenary, and pirate groups. Led by an enigmatic figure known only as the “Grande Admiral” (Pronounced Gran-Day Ad-Me-Ral), The Revelry’s leader may be the top of the totem pole, but most decisions are made by the Admiral’s Council which is made up of the leaders of the most powerful member groups of The Revelry. As The Revelry is a mostly illegal group, it technically has no legitimate national territory in the common sense, but it does possess numerous hidden bases throughout all the galaxy and can operate far more freely in Imperial space due to them aiding in the ‘Flesh Trade’. This is not to say they don’t actually have systems and planets under their control, just that all other nations do not consider their claim or rulership of those places as legitimate.
Do they actually own them and rule over them? Yes. Does anyone from a ‘normal’ nation who has a position of power acknowledge the fact that The Revelry is, essentially, a nation in its own right, complete with borders, a government, an economy, and a military? No.
The Revelry cannot be truly stomped out or destroyed due to the numerous criminal and ‘legitimate’ groups that make it up which are scattered across the stars. Most of its income and resource acquisitions come from purely illegal means, but it also has a large number of legal mercenaries at its disposal to help further its interests and ‘persuade’ system governments to allow it to operate freely. It is, however, the only criminal network to actually own a decent part of the Galaxy, but their rule over it is haphazard at best and downright amateurish at worst. The Revelry does not pride itself on having overtly owned territory and instead views the entire rest of the Galaxy as just another place they can operate from and in. Truly, A Criminal Empire Without Borders.

Colors –
Colors depend on individual groups, both criminal and ‘legal’.
Showing Rank –
War Suits show their rank based on the preferences of each member group of The Revelry. Therefore, there is no one way of rank being displayed and some groups may not have visible ranks to begin with.
Flag/ Emblem –
A stylized Skull with no lower jaw whose teeth are replaced with tentacles. The colors used for the Skull and its backdrop are entirely up to the group or individual that is a part of The Revelry.
War Suit tactics –
The Revelry tends to use Light Suits and a handful of Medium Suits, but as they do not technically produce any Suit Models of their own, what they have is either stolen or cobbled together from the desiccated husks of other Suits. Likewise, their use of weaponry is mostly Light, mostly due to their need for a quick getaway or to simply act as an intimidation factor. The weapons and systems they employ are usually stolen, bought on the black market, or are homemade monstrosities that would give any sane and non-criminal person a very good reason to not use the thing or risk it blowing up and killing not only themselves but everyone within a few meters. Before Axton revealed how to make such creations to them, they relied heavily on either stolen or black-market War Suits from other nations.
Some War Suit Models
* No standardized Suit models exist beyond those taken from other Nations or that are Frankenstein monsters that would make an Ork Mekboy proud. Up until Axton revealed the ‘secrets’ of how to build such War Suits to them they were using stolen War Suits from other nations.
