Karmand Campaign [https://i.ibb.co/8zRP3Jr/Karmand-Campaign-Map.jpg]
Insert Description: The Karmand Campaign is an attempt by Emperor Duronaht to strike a fatal blow against his brother Rohmhelt by destroying Rohmhelt's capital city of Karmand.
After drawing upon all of their immediate reserves, Duronaht and Rohmhelt still field far smaller armies than they did at the beginning of the war at the Nehal River. Heavy casualties and desertions have left Duronaht with approximately 530,000 soldiers in total against his brother's 420,000. Rohmhelt's forces have been reinforced by the reptilian Varanians, whose arid homeland lies to the west of Karmand, under Chief Besix and the birdmen of Osilintis, led by Wingmother Nanikaw.
Despite not having as great an advantage as he did at the Battle of Eynond, Duronaht feels confident that he can overwhelm his brother's forces with his superior siege weapons and mages. He's ordered a full assault on both the northern and southern portions of the front while largely avoiding the center, fearing that his brother means to draw him into a trap. Jagreth's beasts are to smash Cyrona and Aberos in the south while Duronaht's main forces shatter the forces along the Karmand Road and press straight to the capital.

As at Eynond, angels on both sides are providing vital support and assistance. Their powers growing as they learn from mortals in how to heighten their connections to the Auras, their role on the battlefield is reaching frightening proportions.
All the while, followers of Emperor Rohmhelt become increasingly convinced that the return of the High Angel Forynda is close at hand and, with it, their salvation in a war marked by defeats and withdrawals up until this point. Grand Marshal Agrehn has elected to fighting a running battle back to Karmand to overextend the enemy armies and launch a fearsome counterattack closer to the city. It is a delicate dance upon which the fate of Vorlanys rests.
