These forms depicted are the most common mortal forms of each angel. The angels of Ceuna all chose mortal forms to their liking when they were first created for the purpose of establishing the mortal world. Their forms, however, are merely approximations of mortal beings and are not the same. For instance, angels do not possess ordinary organs such as a heart or brain and they are utterly incapable of reproducing with a mortal being. Their mortal forms are also uniformly far more resilient than those of any mortal being in the entire world.
Some angels, including Vorlan, Parlon, and Aberos, frequently alter their appearances depending on the circumstances in which they find themselves. Others, especially the High Angel Forynda, will appear before mortals in something other than a corporeal form. Thus, the above depictions should not be interpreted too strictly.
The spiritual forms of angels are their true essences and those spiritual forms can be separated from their mortal forms both willingly and unwillingly.
