Chapter 4053

CHAPTER 4053

Dahlia changed her appearance, and used the cultivation method she learned from James to hide her soul aura. As long as she stayed away from places with soul-detecting treasures, her identity as a human would be hidden.

Dahlia left the courtyard house, while James waited for her return in the room.

He began to ponder everything that happened. In the Twelfth Universe, he was considered the pinnacle of strength. However, he was insignificant in the Greater Realms and could not even defeat an elder from the Soul Race. He wanted to sow discord in the Greater Realms, but that proved to be harder than he thought.

James began to devise plans. His priority for the moment was to raise his cultivation rank as much as possible and reach the Omniscience Path’s Seventh Stage. He also weighed whether to continue cultivating his Chaos Power and get it to the Quasi Acme Rank. All rights © .

Unfortunately, Thea was the one who knew the most about Chaos Power. Until now, he still had not figured out howto properly cultivate it. All he could do was use his other Path Powers to enhance his Chaos Power and increase its strength accordingly.

However, James felt that Chaos Power was not meant to be cultivated this way.

“Huff.” He sighed worriedly.

“It seems I’ll have to meet the Doom Race to find out how to cultivate Chaos Power.”

Despite knowing what to do, James could not leave yet. He had to think of a way to rescue Karglain and the others first. Even if he could not save them alone, it was imperative he meet with the Heaven- Eradicating Sect for help.

James began planning his next step.

Meanwhile, Dahlia had been occupied with gathering intel. She returned just as quickly as she left. In three days, she returned to the courtyard house. James could tell from her solemn expression that she did not come with good tidings.

Dahlia sat down and took a sip of water. James looked at her, waiting for her to speak.

After a while, she sighed deeply.

“What’s wrong? Is there truly no good news?” asked James.

Dahlia nodded and said quietly, ‘Yeah. I found out how dire things were from a few of my networks. Grandpa, Bruce, and the villagers are imprisoned inside Mount Carslegh’s dungeon. A powerhouse named Waspen Jaezred is

guarding the dungeon. He’s not a creature of the Soul Race but is one of their officials.”

James looked at her and said, ‘You only gathered this much information despite leaving for a few days?”

Seeing James’ nonchalant expression, Dahlia felt her heart boil over in anger. She burst out at him. “We’re in Hopeless City! It’s the Soul Clan’s territory! Mount Carslegh is where the Hopeless City’s Lord stays. Even their own powerhouses aren’t permitted to enter the mountain, let alone a human like me. It wasn’t easy for me to gather this information. If you’re so great, how about you gather intel instead?”

“Hey, watch it! Right now, you’re the one asking me to save your villagers,” said James.

Hearing this, Dahlia quickly swallowed her anger and lowered her head.

“I-I’m sorry. I was just worried about their safety and got ahead of myself.”

Dahlia humbled herself. She looked at James and asked cautiously, “Then, how should we proceed?”

James shook his head lightly, unable to devise a feasible plan.

He thought for a while and said, “It stands to reason that the Soul Race is trying to use these captives to lure out more of your sect members, seeing that they aren’t in a hurry to kill them and are keeping them alive for now. Since they’re still useful, the Soul Race won’t be executing them anytime soon. We don’t have to rush and should slowly think of a solution.”

Dahlia shook her head in frustration and said, “Even if the Soul Race releases news of their capture, our sect members will never come to the rescue.”

‘Why would your sect come up with such a stupid rule?”

James frowned.

Dahlia explained, “We, humans, are too weak compared to the other races. This is the only way we can preserve our strength. If we blindly rushed in to rescue every captured individual, the Human Race would have perished long ago.”
