Son of Eternals A'lars and Sui-San, the grandson of Kronos, the nephew of Zuras, and the grandnephew of Oceanus and Uranos, the Titan known as Thanos, stood on the warship Sanctuary II, waiting as his army prepared to wipe out half the population of the planet blow.
But things were not going well; Loki and the Mind Stone scepter had vanished—along with the Space Stone that was once inside the Tesseract. Plans to send Ronan, Gamora, and Nebula to the planet Morag and find the Power Stone were put off. Because Death was no longer listening.
But Thanos was wrong.
“So, you somehow came up with the bright idea that balancing the universe requires you to wipe out half the planet's population.”
Spinning around, the Titan finds a figure cloaked in darkness. Thanos was powerful but stumbled back before the young man with messy black hair and glowing green eyes.
Harry looked down at the planet. “The Sinjar are a peaceful race. True, much like other planets, overpopulation is a problem. Perhaps they would have been able to do something about it, maybe not. But due to your intervention, instead of saving them, you will be destroying the planet because there is no longer enough population to keep civilization running. Millions more will lose their lives as they are visited by war, plague, famine, and DEATH.”
Thanos stepped back, wanting to explain his plan to save everyone, but the entity continued.
“Then, to exasperate your already foolish plan, you have decided to expand this little venture to include the entire universe. All because you wished to Impress Mistress Death.”
“But instead, all you got is me,” Harry whispered.
“But Titan!” Thanos yelled.
“Would have survived. But its fate was changed because you were given a tool to do just that.”
“The Cosmic Cube,” Thanos growled. “I reformed it; no one gave it to me. I am a master of my fate, no one else.”
“You’re a foolish mortal to think that and ignorant to believe the power to change the universe can simply be created by anyone. Aren’t you curious why the Space Stone appeared inside another cosmic cube?”

“So, what are you planning to do? Kill me.” He sneered.
“No, that’s not something I will do. Instead, I am going to remove the powers you should never have been given. Your unnatural influence on your so-called children, Gamora, Nebula, Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, Cull Obsidian, and Proxima Midnight, has been removed. The races you have made allies are no longer under your power.”
Harry Potter, Master of Death, grinned. “In my experience, sentient beings hate being under an Imperious like power. So, Thanos, the way to the hanger is open. Find a ship and start running. Or stay. Maybe you can convince the commanders of your army of your beliefs. But I will tell you that most of them are horrified at what they have done.”
Harry then vanished, but not before adding, “I don’t care either way; you are no longer my problem.”
A small group of people suddenly appeared in the snowy lands of the territory of Nunavut, just outside of Qikiqtarjuaq.
“Quite lovely,” Angrboða, mother of Loki, commented.
“Hmm, doesn’t look like New York,” Hel added, although she agreed that northern Canada was quite nice.
Harry leaned over and kissed his betrothed head. “Hush you.”
“So, is this where bróðir Jormungandr lives?” Fenrir asked.
“He was on the other side of Midgard the last time we spoke, but he spends much time in these waters. We should find him right over there.”
Tall, bare-chested with long blonde flowing locks, he was not too difficult to pick out among the fishermen he was currently assisting. Although the Midgard Serpent noticed the odd group, he ignored them as he continued speaking with the vessel's captain.
“You said you would come by,” Jormungandr said after he was done pushing the fishing boat back into the water.
“I did,” Harry replied, then pointed to the group and made a round of introductions.
“Faðir, Móðir,” the World Serpent began, then frowned. “Not that I am displeased to see you.”
“I understand,” Angrboða stepped forward. “But please forgive me for my foolishness. I should have never let you go. I just wanted to see you. If you want us to leave...”
Jormungandr grumbled. “No, Haraldur seemed it would be good if we all met.”
An hour later, three people appeared in the middle of Central Park, New York, after dropping off the others at Sigyn farm. The attractive couple and the young boy didn’t seem out of place as they walked toward the Museum of Natural History entrance.
“Why did we have to go to Midgard, then back to Asgard, then back again to Midgard? Couldn’t bróðir just have come to Móðir Sigyn’s farm?” Fenrir grumbled.
“Because he is as stubborn as you, my litli úlfur,” Hele replied, tapping him on the nose.
“Oh,” Fenrir made a face and then grinned. “The Gods of Asgard, Frændi Haraldur?”
Harry chuckled at the posters adorning the museum. “Your two uncles appearing on Midgard has made a lot of people interested. There is also a whole new Viking exhibit.”
Laughing, the young boy ran forward.
“So today, it’s just the three of us,” Harry explained. “I already made some reservations for dinner later and tickets to one of the musicals I think Fenrir would be interested in. Afterward, he’s going to be staying with Angrboða.”
Hel smiled, then took Harry by the hand. “Then I look forward to tomorrow.”
