Fire almost burned her down from the tips of her hair as she dodged the fire snakes that flew towards her.
“What the,” she shouted, snakes falling onto her wings from the darkness. It was an hour before she met up with Mirac to infiltrate the temple. Arrow was stuck inside her ribcage as she fell from the sky to an underground door. Now, Yvonne was in a dark tunnel. Snakes came from every direction.
The moment she saw a long dark hall, eyes were glimmering from the flames, moving closer to her, ready to eat her whole. Yvonne coughed as she used her dark magic to push them away. Her heart pounded fast as all she was surrounded by was fire. Fear was on her face as she had no choice but to kick against the wall to create a hole. She did not care as she could smell the dirt again and the forest. She gasped as she reached outside, behind her a wave of flames. She cut the part of her hair that caught fire, her helmet already being destroyed to crumbs. She coughed as she saw the mud on her gloves and some strands of grass.
As she tilted her head to the side, she saw portals appearing out of nowhere. Yvonne sighed with a done expression. “What the f-” she coughed blood, not finishing her sentence. Yvonne immediately stood up, pulling the arrow from her rib cage. She held the side - which bled out as she supported herself from the walls. The girl crumbled the soldier that appeared in front of her, dodging their attacks. As she finally found a second to breathe again, she saw a redhead almost beaten to the ground.
She rolled her eyes. Yvonne grits her teeth as she puts out the last drop of magic she had before a deep resting phase. She could not believe she would use it for this idiot, she said in her head.
Her vision was almost staggering, going between dark and fuzzy. The blood that suddenly dripped from her forehead was not helping. “I just want to open a restaurant and meet cute guys,” she said.
Yvonne opened her eyes, finding herself pushing against the door with her brother, finding herself in a different scene, begging in her head to fast forward the scene. She coughed blood, looking towards her brother - who acted like a weakling in front of her eyes.
But still, she wanted him to go first to the heavens.
“Yvonne! Your wounds! Are you okay-? Let me-” he would always cry, seeing her in this state. All she could do was calm him down, pressing him deep into her shoulder like they were a child. He calmed him down, fought with him, and was interrupted by the executive. Some part of her knew they wanted the two cursed twins dead.

Yvonne walked down the cathedral alone, being the killer machine she was, slaughtering and being the best in her field. Her brother was no different. But all they had left was each other. The rumors of their red eyes were infamous.
She could still remember what her brother told her in the heavens.
“I sometimes wonder why they still let us live and feed us. They never see us demons but not angels either. I got the feeling there is a reason they still keep us alive. Do you think I am overthinking? I do not want to believe it,” he said, sighing. They both were leaning against the walls of an empty hallway, whispering to each other. Yvonne was about to walk past him, tight in her grip. Mirac held onto her arm.
“Why don´t you talk to me anymore? You are the only one I have here. I recently made a friend called Hamza but… he keeps asking about you. Might have a crush on you. I know no one would have a crush on you for no reason. You are quite scary,” Mirac joked, but Yvonne pushed his arm gently away.
Yvonne opened her eyes, being on the battlefield. But her mind was still up in the heavens. She pushed his arm away gently, looking into the eyes of her brother, having longing and sad eyes. These red eyes were the curse of them.
The reason why they were shunned.
“You can not trust no one here. Make many friends. Make many enemies. But… I would not save you from any trouble. At this cathedral, we are not siblings anymore,” she said, tilting her head with a smile. She hit his head - which turned to a gentle ruffle. Yvonne bit her lip as she forced herself to turn around. She saw the many students surrounding them, coming from the training ground, looking at her with contempt, fear, and curiosity.
She glanced back at Mirac - who received the same treatment. She sighed as she kicked the wall beside her, creating a hole. “I do not like them staring at him. They know nothing,” she thought in her head.
All the eyes landed on her as she smirked back at them. She balled her fist, giving them all an inviting smile. Some snickered - as they gladly accepted the taunt.
“Gosh, it reeks here. Be careful - or this cathedral will fall to the surface level,” a boy said, snickering with her friends as he turned his back on her. He held a long spear, gripping it tightly - showing if Yvonne attacked, he was ready to return the favor. His smirk was taunting.
“I think your presence is enough to make the whole hallway reek,” she said, throwing a small stone from the cracked wall at high speed. She warped it up in dark magic, which made the travel only half a second long as it reached the forehead of the guy. She jumped at him, her heels pushed right into his face as he landed on the ground.
“Yvonne,” Mirac said, widening his eyes. He grits his teeth as he walks closer to the scene, trying to push her off him. But they were at the point of bickering that Mirac stepped on the comatose boy's hands.
