Grimm
My eyes slowly open in the dark of the room. Memories of the night before cause me to bolt out of the bed and stand with my back against the far wall of the room for any signs of the creature. I feel the air in the room grow suffocating, my heart rate elevates and the only sound I can hear is the beating of my own heart in my chest. Eyes wide , I search the poorly light room for any signs of the abomination. Tense seconds pass by, I feel the trickle of a bead of sweat down my forehead.
Nothing. Nothing at all. No creature breaks down my door, nothing grabs my foot in the dark. As the pounding in my heart stills I feel relief wash over me, causing my body to relax and slouch, my shoulder and back lean into the wall as I slide down against it, into a seated position. A breath I did not know I was holding escapes my mouth as my heaving chest begins to quiet down.
No longer on such a high alert I begin to take in my surroundings. It's just like the night before, the three other beds empty with no occupants , the moon slowly shining in through the window by my side, the cold frost creeping up the glass, distorting the white world below.

A hand falls on my shoulder. My head snaps to the direction and my heart stops in my chest. All thoughts are lost as I fear the worst. No sound escapes me as I feel a pit form in my stomach and the scream die in my throat. I almost jump out of my skin, but the cold hand holds me firm. I reflexively close my eye's preparing for the end.
…
I feel a pressure against my forehead and a voice resounds in my ears.
???:Grimm?
The voice sounds …familiar. The cold touch, not sinister…almost..comforting…
I open my eyes and crouching beside me , under the pale light of the moon creeping in through the window is Maraysa Umbrezha.
