In front of him was a beast that looked like a snake, it was 2 meters long and pitch black, its body was covered in scales and there was a wound on the side of its head causing it to bleed.
Zod could not help but frown looking at the beast in front of him. His luck was pretty bad he encountered such a strong Beast as his first opponent it might even be poisonous. But, Zod wasn't scared, poison couldn't affect him because of his trait. So even if the snake was poisonous he wasn't afraid. His thoughts were like lightning and he quickly came up with a battle plan.
Meanwhile, the Viper which glared at Zod suddenly felt a chill and fear eroded its heart leading to a sense of weakness.
Name: Poison Fang
Race: Viper Clan
Level: 4
HP: ?
Status: Fear, Moderately Injured, Bleeding...
Skills: ?
Seeing the Viper in a state of Fear, Zod acted without restraint, he stabbed the dagger straight into the Vipers eyes. Although his strength was low his high Spirit gave him better control over his body, letting him accurately stab its eyes.
Stab!
The Viper was too scared and its sudden sense of weakness left it confused so it couldn't dodge, the dagger entered through its eyes and pinned the Viper to the ground. Zod did not stop he stomped on the flailing Viper neck and pulled his dagger with all his strength. Slowly the Viper's head got separated and died a gruesome death.

Zod looked at the decapitated corpse of the Viper and felt a bit uncomfortable, but his high Spirit gave him strong willpower so he ignored the feeling. He watched as golden light enveloped the corpse and it materialized into a pitch black ancient-looking scroll next to the corpse.
[Viper Inheritance (E-): Your movements will mimic a deadly Viper, containing knowledge on Ancient Viper Martial Arts.]
Seeing the description, Zod did not hesitate and touched the scroll while thinking that he wanted to learn it.
The scroll disintegrated into black spots and merged with Zod's body.
'Ding!' you have learned [Viper Inheritance (E-)], you received +4 unallocated points.
Zod felt all sorts of complicated knowledge enter his brain, as he slowly assimilated with the knowledge he gained some entry-level understanding of Ancient Viper Martial Arts.

With this, his Strength, Agility, and Endurance were not much different from an average adult. Now he would just focus mainly on increasing his Spirit and Intelligence. His Stealth skill would become useless if he did not have enough MP.
Zod closed his eyes and took some time to analyze the knowledge he received. With his Spirit, he would be able to notice any danger even with his eyes closed.
As he slowly analyzed the knowledge, the aura around him started changing if before he gave a dangerous aura now it was more restrained but sharper like a Viper about to strike, he opened his eyes and started practicing with his Dagger according to the Martial Art knowledge he received. Coincidently the Viper Clan mostly used daggers so there was a lot of knowledge about its use.
At first, his movements were a bit clumsy, but slowly he strikes became more accurate and his movements became less and less predictable.
Although his strength had not increased by much, if he were to fight the Poison Fang again, he could kill it with a single strike.
Although the previous fight seemed easy if it were anyone else instead of Zod, without his high Spirit Stat, they would have not even been able to sense the sneak attack of the Poison Fang. Also, the Poison Fang was put under Fear Status and attacked before it could recover otherwise the battle would have been impossible to win.
After familiarizing himself with his body he chose the direction from which the Poison fang came and head towards it. There would definitely be stronger beasts in that direction but he did not care. He had to become stronger as soon as possible.
...
After a few minutes, he encountered another beast,
Name: Stone Wolf
Race: Wolf Clan
Level: 3
HP: 300/300
Status: Healthy
Skills: Bite, Claw Strike
Zod indifferently looked at the charging Wolf, the Wolf's Agility was higher so it would be difficult to dodge the Claw Strike. But, Zod had no plans of dodging in the first place, he moved in a zig-zag manner and slashed the Wolf's neck accurately. The poor Stone Wolf's neck was cut open before its claw could sink into Zod.
Tsk!
Zod looked at the bleeding Wolf and clicked his tongue he had wanted to decapitate the Wolf but the Wolf's Stone armor was pretty hard.
He looked at the chipped dagger and decided that he needed a better weapon. Although it was made of steel it couldn't compare to even a common weapon from Grim.
You have slain [Stone Wolf- Lv.3] - Bonus experience for killing an enemy above your level.
The corpse of the Stone Wolf got wrapped into a golden light and a grey orb materialized next to the corpse along with a bunch of bronze coins.
The grey orb contained the shadow of a Wolf and looked mysterious,
Zod examined the orb curiously,
