Kaiju were once the terror and nightmare that haunted the humans ever since Godzilla appeared in 1954. However, he abruptly vanished after a huge rampage on the city of Tokyo. Since then, other Kaiju - Anguirus, the armored beast of Siberia, Rodan, the fire demon of Mexico, and others - have started to never show up again after their initial appearances. The Kaiju's sudden disappearance in between their attacks have caused a wildfire of confusion towards the people around the world. But they were happier than they were oblivious, as they can no longer worry about monsters terrorizing their cities. 

Little did they know, a place beyond the reach of humans called Monster Island, is where Godzilla and the rest of the kaiju sought refuge. Over the years, the kaiju have evolved to possess human-sized bodies, and eventually sapience like that of man. They spent the next decades building their very own society, families, and economy.

The Kaiju is ruled by Godzilla as their king, and when he eventually passes, his descendants will have inherited his throne and take his place. The royalty has a trusted human, Dr. Daisuke Serizawa, who abandoned his life in Japan and assisted the kaiju into building their community. He is their hero who managed to keep them a secret to the public for years to come, and even King Godzilla owes him massive amounts of respect. 

However, developing the Kingdom in Monster Island did not come without bumps on the road. Sometimes, attacks from unevolved kaiju have either nearly threatened the visibility of the island, or destroyed the hardwork that the evolved kaiju created. Other times it would be when nearby planes or ships have almost come across the island, further threatening its peaceful existence. Thankfully, with Dr. Serizawa's brains and the Royalty's almighty power, they made sure all of their efforts were not in vain.

The Kingdom lived on... Even as of today.
