Chapter Six
Vidar watched as sirens and nymphs danced around Susanoo. Fairies fluttered into the sky and a sparkling waterfall cascaded in the distance.
“Stop being a creep Vidar. Speak your intentions,” Susanoo glared through the brush towards Vidar’s direction. “I am not here to educate the pathetic.” Susanoo grabbed a nymphs buttocks and pulled her down onto his lap. She quickly began kissing his neck and rubbing her own earthly green body.
“Watch your tone with me,” Vidar hissed back. Walking out of the brush, Vidar’s appearance killed the vibe. Sirens dripped back into the pool under the cooling waters and the nymphs returned to their plan forms-some trees and others flowers.
Susanoo glared at the Northerner. “Do you understand how your face looks reminds me of a goat’s ass after a deep chew of grass?” His lap covered in flowers.
“It’s sad to see the desperation from a God. I guess that’s what happens when your ranking is below the Upper 5.”
“You think I be the desperate one?” Susanoo leaned back on the stump and crossed his legs.
Vidar walked up to Susanoo and leaned close to his ear, “I know you are desperate.” Susanoo glared at the dark deity. “Some God of Sea and Wind you make, sharing the sky with Amaterasu; no powers compared to Poseidon or Tefnut.”
Susnoo pointed his chin in the air, “get to your point Dark One.”
“I suggest you get together with your shared Deities. I am in the process of doing the same. There’s a new Queen. And a war will break out.” the casualness of Vidar’s voice shook Susanoo to his core. He watched from the corner of his eye as Vidar picked up a flower from Susanoo’s lap and began to crush the delicate petals.
Susanoo shoved Vidar away with his hand, “There has been no meeting between the Shared Deities since the carving of the Land. There wasn’t even a meeting to from the Laws. What care of I or the Seas and Wind does this Queen carry?”
Vidar smiled something wicked.

“Why would I listen to a Northerner anyway?”
Vidar grabbed Susanoo by the throat and dragged him over to the the pool under the waterfall. Taking Susnaoo’s face, Vidar began to smash it into the ground just beyond the reach of the cool waters. Over. And over again. Till Susanoo’s blood collided with Vidar’s armor.
Crouching over Susanoo’s trembling body, Vidar spit in his face. “We are both at the disadvantage being outside our domains. It would be so easy to just end you now.”
“Then..why..-don’t.. you!” Susanoo choked on his blood filling his mouth and blocking his broken nose.
Vidar smiled at Susanoo. He stepped over the bloodied body. “Your death would be easy to execute but it’s too early for that. Summon Poseidon, Ran and Tefnut. Or don’t.” Vidar shrugged as he walked over to the pools. Susanoo glared as Vidar leaned close to the waters and dipped his hand below the surface slowly.
As he lifted it, a translucent hand was in his very delicately like a whisper. Vidar rose to his full height so did a nymph of translucent beauty.
“Do what you will. I am just making a friendly visit is all.” Vidar smiled as the nymph carefully stepped over the edge of the water and onto the solid ground. Her form shifted from liquid to one of solid and seafoam green skin. She wore an A symmetrical dress which hung loosely from her petite shoulders. Her long wavy blue hair shone a deep shine which one could swear they see Vidar’s reflection in it.
Even the birds circling above could hear the coughing as Susanoo rolled to his side to spit out blood and teeth. As soon as Vidar and the nymph were out of sight, Susanoo dragged himself to the pools. Panicked from his interaction with Vidar precipitated sweat on his forehead. Waving a shaking hand over the surface of the water, Susanoo tried to summon a Spirit to send a message. But nothing stirred.
Susanoo held his breath; even weakened, his powers always worked. He waved repeatedly. Nothing. Only ripples from his touch showed along the pool’s waters.
Sweat began to bead down and drip into the water. Susanoo shoved his fists into the water trying to summon the powers within him and the watery elements within his powers. Susanoo’s eyes grew in horror as something grabbed his fists and pulled him deep below the water’s surface. The clear waters flooded with black. He lost sight of his hands and watched-unable to move or make a noise-as something oily reached from the waters and pulled him below the surface.
Vidar returned a moment after he finished with the nymph to inquire if Susanoo had changed his mind in holding the meeting. What once felt like awkward ecstasy in the air, now felt weighted down and clouded with the pollution of something wrong.
Vidar shoved the nymph to the ground. With a quick snap of his fingers, a portal opened in front of them with freezing winds and snow blowing into the heaven of enjoyment. It’s cold winds shook every being to their core. Without hesitation, Vidar stepped through the portal and with another snap into the air-the portal closed. Leaving nothing of either deity with the exception of a single snow flake twinkling down and melting before it hit the grass.
