A hundred red eggs without feet were delivered swiftly, and Zen was impressed by Tracer and Gambler's teamwork. Putting them together was the right decision.
"While I'm at it, I would like to make a request to borrow Scorpion to collect the blue eggs. Most of the new recruits aren't very good at this egg hunt."
Puzzled, Zen looked at Sasha. Wasn't the Scorpion following Team Freedom's leader? The Russian sniper explained the team's dynamic. Scorpion and Controlled Berserker couldn't be separated and acted as a pair no matter what happened. After Controlled Berserker was injured, the couple retreated to recover and stay out of danger.
"They're preparing for a rematch, but I need Scorpion's help to get the blue eggs. It might take you some time to handle the blue eggs and their poison, and we need time to search for the black eggs."
Hearing how he had another reliable person doing egg runs, Zen agreed with Tracer's ideas. The man was a great tactician, and if given the resources he needed, the plan would move very quickly. Currently, Zero was still wondering what he should do to all those eggs. He had an update in his egg encyclopaedia about cooked eggs but did not have the time to check it out yet.
He quickly sent the couple a message privately and told them to meet their party members at the garden. There was work to be done.
Tracer left quickly after Zen confirmed Jessica received the message. Although it wasn't much, Zen decided to give some boiled eggs to Tracer and Gambler before leaving.
"Cheer up," he told them and assured them that the game would be over sooner than they thought.
Tracer accepted the goodwill and left. Sasha was puzzled. "Are we not using them for points? Eating points... what a waste!"
Zen laughed and patted the Russian sniper. "It's alright. There's more of where that came from but if you want to submit these as points before tasting them, be my guest."
Sasha frowned. It would be too wasteful to simply submit the eggs as points before trying them. Zen's cooking was usually delicious even though she had no idea if the same could be said about simple boiled eggs.
As the Russian sniper bit into a peeled, hard-boiled egg, something unexpected happened.
[You have eaten a carefully cooked egg. Health will be recovered by 5%.]
The window that appeared in front of Sasha made the sniper still. She felt some of her muscle strains and bruises healing after eating just one boiled egg. While it didn't taste like anything special, the hidden effect behind it was amazing!
"Zen!" Sasha whispered hurriedly, taking care that nobody else was with them. "I just ate a boiled egg. The event system announced that my health has recovered by 5%. We should be more careful with who we give this to."

When Zen heard it, he blinked. Crafting was possible in this game! He might only be given the Rainbow egg recipe, but if cooked eggs acted as health potions, would they also count as points for submission?
"Hold on," he told her. "Let me try something."
Zen scrambled some newly delivered red eggs, adding a pinch of salt, a little pepper and some milk from the fridge. It smelled delicious but looked a little strange. This was one of Zen's other recipes, and he wondered if all his recipes in the egg encyclopaedia provided healing effects.
Sasha watched as Zen cracked open one of the red eggs and fried it sunny side up. The egg screamed for a moment until it died. Zen was usually sympathetic towards everything. Why was he so business-like today? Did something happen?
Before she knew it, Zen pushed her to try a scrambled egg dish and a sunny side up one. Sasha did not know why he was doing this, but she ate them anyway.
Zen wasn't surprised when Sasha told him the sunny side up egg helped recover 5% of her stamina while the scrambled eggs healed her health and stamina by 5%. This was as good as a game cheat, but Zen was going to take his chances. There was one more thing he wanted to know as he scrambled more eggs and fried more sunny side ups. They had enough boiled eggs for now.
"Big sister Sasha, can you help to check if cooked eggs can be turned in for points?"
Sasha wasted no time. She grabbed the steaming plate of scrambled and sunny side up with two boiled eggs unpeeled from the stockpot. The submission station was in the cafeteria, so she made a run for it, ignoring the camo eggs for now.
[You have submitted Scrambled Eggs. You have been awarded 20 points for the submission.]
[You have submitted Sunny Side Up Eggs. You have been awarded 5 points for the submission.]
[You have submitted Hard Boiled Eggs. You have been awarded 5 points for the submission.]
Thrilled by the discovery and ability to turn one point into five points by cooking, Sasha made her report to Zen, who informed Liu Feng and Akiko. With this healing ability, they might be able to survive the basilisk and continue to collect eggs.
"Can I ask you to make a delivery?" Zen sent a private message to Akiko. He wanted her to deliver boiled eggs to everyone. He might not be able to deliver sunny side up eggs properly because these things were fragile, but he made it known in the guild chat that they found a way to recover health and stamina.
Liu Feng and Akiko simultaneously agreed that this information should be shared with the guild members. However, the discovery of the point submission should not be let known outside of their party.
"You will need more protection now if the word gets to the enemy's ears. They will try to raid the kitchen," Liu Feng stated and warned Sasha that she will die if anything happened to Zen.
The Russian sniper felt cold sweat run down her neck. The Seer was not joking. If she were a little more capable, she would be out there running around to deliver eggs, fight people and capture more points. Unfortunately, she was only good enough to be Zen's bodyguard.
"Cheer up," Zen told Sasha. "Can you help me call Party Prayer? We need them here more than anything else now. Once they are here, I would like you to assist in the egg runs. We need as many eggs as we can get. I'm still short on yellow eggs, blue eggs, white eggs and black eggs."
Like a loyal puppy hearing that it was needed, Sasha perked up and agreed at once. She yelled for Party Prayer to get their slow butts into the kitchen in the guild chat, startling just about everyone, including Zen.
Following her message, a bunch of worried follow-up private messages from Akiko, who was delivering health recovery eggs, flooded Zen's screen. There were also one or two from Liu Feng who wanted to know the situation. The poor cook wanted to cry as he explained his change of plans and intention for Sasha to go on resource runs instead. The sniper's high mobility speed was of better use than acting as a guard. On the other hand, Party Prayer was more useful at the base, taking the defence position with the Impenetrable Shield and Match's fire ability.
