The ride to the archives was relatively swift and there were no obvious problems. Solara got off the metro with a kind dismissal from the driver. The building was an awe inducing sight. It had to have been inspired by old Eearthic architecture. Despite its appearance, there were very little people outside the building. Solara stepped inside and was amazed at the amount of shelves. Shelves had been just about discontinued in the 23 century when everything could be found on world DataHubs.
“Why, hello there.” said a small creature no more than 4 feet tall. It had pale violet skin and small ears. It appeared to be female. She waddled over to Solara with a tablet.
“I am Gamma, the Archive Supervisor here,” said the creature, “Just type the name or genre of tome you are looking for, and the tablet will tell you where to find it.” Solara looked at the tablet’s deep green screen, an was immediately enthralled by it. She had never truly experienced technology before, especially that of the Telos. She typed History into the search bar. Within seconds, hundreds of tomes showed up on the screen. She decided to read A Full History of Onteria, the Galaxy of Wonders. She tapped the tome’s icon and followed its instructions. She ended up in a isolated part of the archive with not a soul in sight. She went to the correct shelf and grabbed the tome. Solara walked back to the front of the library to check out her tome. At the front desk was a different person, though she looked similar to Gamma.
“How do I check out?” asked Solara. The woman looked at her with confusion.
“Just place the tome in the green box.” said the woman. Solara placed the tome in the box
“What is your name? Asked Solara.
“I am Iota, keeper of the Archive.” said Iota. The green box flashed a red light.
“That means you can get your tome.” said Iota. Solara picked up her tome and left.

Outside, Faer was waiting for Solara. Solara ran to Faer
“What are you dong here?” asked Solara.
“I’m here to pick you up.” said Faer.
“Where are we going?” queried Solara.
“The Prestige.”
The ride to The Prestige was fairly peaceful set-aside a few malfunctioning hover-crafts. Its large arch in the center of the building was incredible. It was floating in the air via repulsor lift technology. Faer led Solara inside where the vaulted ceiling was just about the tallest thing she had ever seen. Its masterful architecture elicited awe in Solara. Faer brought her to an elevator and pressed the 32nd floor button. The ride was swift and smooth, without a single bump. When they arrived on the 32nd floor, Faer led Solara to a bright green door with ornate detailing on it. She pulled out a card and swiped across a small slit in the door. A tiny light blinked green at the top of the door and Faer showed Solara inside.
The room was unlike anything Solara had ever seen. It was luxurious, but hospitable. It was impractical, but warm. The views from her balcony would kill someone from a loss of breath, the rooms were detailed and made to perfection, and the room was fully automated by androids. Solara walked into the bedroom and laid down on the bed. Although she had done close to nothing that day, she was greatly fatigued. Faer left after dropping off Solara’s luggage. After about an hour of rest, Solara got up to read the history of her galaxy.
The Beggining:
In the year 2367, terrestrials from outside of the Solar System visited the planet, Earth. At the time, Earth was stricken with war and strife. The terrestrials looked just like the humans, because they were human. The terrestrials wanted to save Earth from its people, so it began loading important leader onto craft back to the terrestrials’s home planet. It took 2 years to load all of Earths people onto crafts. 23 years later, Earths core became unstable and tore the Earth apart. The terrestrials that saved Earth’s people were The Republic of Telos. Today, there are many descendants of Earthics right on Telos.
Solara decided to get food and go to sleep. She had a delicious pantaka roast which consisted of mainly carrots and pantaka rabbits. She got under the soft covers of her bed. She had no idea someone was watching her.
