Horde Woods, Outside Doveria,

The Moon had risen casting its silvery glow throughout the woods. A breeze blew up the dry leaves and grass tendrils. The only thing one could hear in the silence of the night was the sound of leaves, bushes, and branches swaying in the breeze.

Kai and Arnold slowly walked towards the denser part of the woods. Kai was holding his staff in his left-hand illuminating the path with a fiery light which worked as the substitution of sunlight. But, it only cleared the vision of only a few meters.

"Arnold, I sensed something, perhaps the movement of a

monster." warned Kai.

"What! then we should get ready for a fight."

"They are around 10-15 in numbers and..."

"And, what?" asked Arnold.

Suddenly, The sound of howling filled the woods. Kai and Arnold looked in the direction from where the sound came from. Two 40 feet tall trees were crossing each other forming an Arc, which looked like the entrance to the most dangerous part of the woods. From a distance, some shadows appeared from the arc. Their eyes gleaming in the darkness.

Kai and Arnold took their positions covering each others' back. The wild dogs came rushing towards them. They all had blackish complexion, Red Gleaming eyes around 130 feet tall. Their tails were elongated and developed into a sharp knife-like object. A menu appeared above their head stating that they were Normal Ranked monsters of Lv. 28.

They all fired a volley of knives from their tails.

Kai opens the menu and then selects a move from his attack list...

"Here comes my counter-attack, <>, " A round shield appeared before them. It was glowing in the darkness with a red pearl in between. The knives stabbed the shield but were weak enough to get stopped. The shield then deflected all the knives with x2 times more power. The hounds got stuck to the trees. Their Hit Points slowly but steadily decreased until half of their Hit Points left.

"Now it's my turn,

<>" cried Arnold.

RUMMMBLEE...

The thunder started to rumble in the skies above Arnold and soon a wave of thunder hit his Long Sword, increase the damage and agility of the weapon.

"How did you just do it without opening the menu?" asked a surprised Kai.

"I don't know, I just said the move I wanted to use and the system made it happen," replied Arnold.

"I see, this means the system has a voice command initiation method. It means that we just need to say that move and system will make it happen until we have our physical strength and Mana Points." thought Kai.

Arnold rushed towards the hounds, carrying his sword with both of his hands. The sword was covered in a bluish light and was glowing in the dark. He stabbed two of them and their Hit Points fell to Zero. Both of the hounds vanished leaving nothing... not even the trace of their existence.

Ting... Ting... Ting...

A panel opened before Arnold showing the items and money he received after slaying the monsters.

He closed the panel without looking.

He again rushed forward and slashed the head of one of the hounds depleting his Hit Points to Zero.

Arnold belonged to the class called the <> It was one of the twelve main classes. It comes in the category known as <>.

All twelve classes evolve into different classes with higher Hit Points, Agility and Mana Points. For example, A Mage can evolve into three different classes:

Sorcerer

Sage

Bishop

Class evolution was introduced in the second update of 'WarCraft Online'. It attracted millions of players worldwide.

"<>, " cried Kai as two of the hounds came rushing towards him.

A light appeared at the tip of his staff and a portal appeared in front of Kai. After some seconds several some meteorites started hitting the hounds which lowered their Hit Points and annihilated them completely.

Kai and Arnold defeated all the hounds and scanned the whole area. There was mass destruction caused by the battle. The trees had several holes on their trunks. Smoke fumed through the burnt grass and the dry leaves that fell on the ground were half burnt. The smell of burning filled the air around the area.

"That was close, We totally annihilated them." cheered Arnold.

"Yeah, It was a good battle. I loved it but, we don't know if the death in this world is the end or not," said Kai.

"Then, let us make you feel it..." came a voice from behind them.

Kai and Arnold turned back to find that Five players were blocking their way to the city. All wore blood red cloaks and were hooded. They covered themselves with head to toe. Even their face was hidden behind a mask.

"Who are you?" asked Arnold.

"We are Player Killers and we belong to a guild called,

" I have heard of them, earlier when it was just a game, several players resorted to player killing and were often referred to as PKs or Player Killers. They are skilled warriors who often killed players for fun and loot.

They even undertook several missions from NPCs to kill players." explained Kai.

"Looks like someone had already done his homework, We are the one referred to as the founders of the satanic guild in 'WarCraft Online." jested the guy in the middle.

"Oh, if that's the case then get ready to die here. I promise I won't let you leave this place alive, in one piece." barked Arnold.

"I see, Guys let's teach this guy, who's boss here." said the guy in the middle.

"<>," cried Kai and the time around them slowed down.

Heavens Clock, a spell that could be only obtained by doing a legendary quest. It slows down the time in 100 meters range. It's cast time is 2 minutes and Cooldown is 7 minutes.

(Cast time, it is the time till which a spell or ability has its effect.)

(Cooldown, it is the time in which a spell or ability can be reused by the player.)

"Hehe...Let's see who is the master here." challenged Kai.

"W...hat...di...d...you...d..do...I...ca..n't...mo...ve...pro..per...ly," struggled the guy.

"Nothing... Just a lot bit of magic." chuckled Kai.

"y..ou...bas...ta...rd...I...w..., "

"Don't struggle yourself it will just take a minute, <>, " cried Kai.

The wind started to blow heavily and the sky crackled like it was about to come down. Thunders roared and the wind swept everything that came into its way.

"You thought, We were weak and you could kill us and take our items but you crossed your path with the wrong person. I will annihilate you. Now burn, burn in the flames of my anger..." roared Kai."

"Who...ar...re...y..you?" hesitated the guy.

"I am Kai, The one you know as ' The Astral God', "

"What! he was my friend from the very beginning and I didn't know it, I should have known that he's the one called 'The Astral God', many also referred to him as

'The God of Virtual Reality', we travelled together and yet I didn't know it." cursed Arnold.

"Please...Please forgive us, we will never kill any player." begged the guy.

"You should have thought it before but now you will see the Wrath of Kai. You wanted to show us how it felt dying, now show yourselves, how does it felt after dying," shouted Kai and snapped his fingers.

The sky became red and balls of fire showered in the woods, annihilating all the things that came into their way. An invisible barrier protected Kai and Arnold so, the flames got deflected. As for the player killers, they were burnt alive and got annihilated.

After the shower stopped, Kai scanned the area and found that the trees were totally burned in the radius of the spell, leaving the ashes on the ground. The smell of burnt flesh shrouded his nose. He slowly walked towards Arnold and stopped in front of him and kneeled down.

"It's over, let's head back," said Kai in a low voice.

"Why... Why you hid all this from me, Didn't you trusted me?" questioned Arnold...
