Leu doesn't know whether to be happy or sad. They have just escaped from a shipwreck. They are now being arrested for illegally entering the island named Kribaga - its owner is a Vae called Daenos. Fortunately, this is where they need to go. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant person. Daenos is arrogant and doesn't like strangers, especially the man race, just as everyone warned.
Leu was brought into a cave that was damp but not dark. This place is not lit by fire like in human land but by many sparkling rivers like a thousand stars assembled. These rivers flowing in the air, winding around the cave.
This is the first time they have seen such a beautiful and strange water line like that. They couldn't hide their curiosity and looked around without noticing the slippery rocky ground beneath their feet. One of them slipped because he was absorbed and all of them fell down in front of Daenos.
Daenos swept through the mortals with his cold green eyes, only until he saw Ananda.
"It is rare to see an Adda like you. Your land will fall soon. I give you a chance to continue to live, to continue living with the knowledge you have. Stay on this island and you will live forever." Daenos spoke up.
"I… sir." Ananda looked at the Vae with his misty-eye. He wished he could see Daenos clearly but the light around him was too bright for him to look at that person. Then he resolutely spoke. "Please forgive me, great Vae. But to live forever is not the thing that I wish for. I only wish to be able to protect and save the wounded. Now people in my land are living in war, war hurts them deeply. They suffer and I hope to bring light to them. Please, great Vae, I implore you to return the scripture that our Saint Kosa gave you. That is our only hope at this moment." Ananda insisted.
"Oh, hope? You are intelligent but not wise at all, I see. But I still like you. I will give you time to think clearly. Ananda, if you stay here I will forgive them so they can return to their land. They are waiting for your answer."

Leu and the rest were locked in a horribly dark and damp cave that was not big enough for ten of them. Unable to do anything else, the rest decided to sleep first and then think of a way to get out of there later.

They had a long and terrible voyage ahead at sea.
This was their first time going to the beach. The people of the Western Continent of Mandagard had never left the mainland by sea including all the people living in the other continents. Not just because of the fear of foreign lands. The central sea is a dangerous place for them. The Asla people live hundreds of miles deep in the mid-sea, and they hate the mainlanders terribly. If anyone dared to go out to sea, most of them would be greeted by the terror tidal waves that would break their ship, no matter how big it was.The king sea waits for the fallen sailors to tear them to pieces. Never heard of anyone who could go to the central sea and still be alive.
However, someone still says that people living in the southern islands can travel comfortably from one island to another by sea. But no one has ever met a real Southerner. Even those who have travelled to many places like Lords Gwynn - Leu's adoptive parents. They never went to the sea but only hung around on the continuous continents that were not divided.
On the Western continent with harsh deserts, long rivers sprouted tall reeds. The Northern Continent with its grand meadow and free-running horses. Further north are the snowy mountains. And the Eastern continent with ancient green forests, mountains after mountains, plains after plains. That continent is where they found Leu.
In many dreams Leu alway sees a woman standing under large foliage that obscures her face, revealing a gentle smile to him.
Leu woke up startled.
He dreamed about that continent and “her”, again. Opening his eyes he looked around. The other people were still sleeping soundly. Leu sat alone in the corner of the cave. As usual, after dreaming, he began to practise magic. It was a habit when Leu didn't want to think about that unfamiliar Easter continent. Even though sometimes his father always hinted that he should go back to his homeland, maybe just for a visit. But he always felt that the place was not welcoming.
Leu tried to concentrate on reciting the spell he could remember over and over. Although people with human blood, like himself, just had little chance of learning magic, he still yearned to learn it.
“A...Á...Ánez...pert...Per...timos a...za...te” - No reaction at all.
“Ánez pertimos azate” He said more clearly, still, no response.
Leu closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
“Ánez pertimos azate…Ánez pertimos azate…Ánez pertimos azate…”
When Leu opened his eyes, there was still no sign of it working. But he hadn't even had time to sigh. Suddenly his body was propelled down a straight line through the rock. Leo panicked and wondered if he had mistaken the spell that opened the gates of hell.
"STOP!" He shouted.
He was stopped but maybe not so lovely.
