(Writer's POV)
"Alright! The path is clear major, over!" A young kid speaks into his walkie talkie.
"On my way, over!" another kid replies in his walkie talkie.
Carefully Neil crawls out from under his bed and cautiously descends the stairs. Then he finds himself in the living room and he rolls to the kitchen banging himself to the fridge door.
"You okay, Major?!" asks Chris worried.
"I'm fine, any problems on your side Lt. Chris?" Asks Neil.
"No sir!" Reassures Chris. while he stood at the top of the stairs looking around for any threats.
Neil sighs and opens the freezer's door and pulls out a box of ice cream.
Everything is working smoothly, now the only thing left to do is run back to the HQ, lets g--!
"Looking busy major, may I help you?" Sophia stood there holding Chris' ear.
" I'm sorry, major. I didn't see it coming." Chris says lowering his head.
"Raise your head, Lt. Chris. It's time for Plan B" says Neil and faces his mom, " Mom, ...... It was Chris' idea!" Sophia's eyes widened in amusement the twins had never blamed each other for anything. One of them would always take the other's blame.
"HUH??!!! B-But....!" Chris jumps back in fake shock freeing himself from his mother's grip. And runs over to the dining table.
Both Chris and Neil smirk, "Major Neil this is our chance!" Chris rolls under the dining table, to the other side.
" Ready Lt.?" Neil asks before throwing the box of Ice cream towards Chris who efficiently catches it and runs to the front door.
" Wait!" Sophia yells. But even before she could react Neil who was still standing in front of her runs over to the stairs and up to his room which he shared with Chris.
" Lt. Chris I made it back to the HQ." Says Neil into his walkie talkie as soon as he entered their room.
" Major! I am near the window, throwing over the ice cream box! over!" says Chris and runs to their window from their garden. Neil on the other side throws the wooden ladder over so Chris could climb. Just then Chris throws the ice cream box to Neil and Neil catches it and helps Chris into the room.
" We made it!!" They cheer. But what they didn't notice was the slightly open door of their room, through which came their mom. Hands-on her hips, lips in a thin line, playfully glaring down at the twins.
" Hey mom... long time no see.." starts Chris stupidly, and his mom raises an eyebrow.
" We were just.... practising our... co-ordination skills...right Chris?" Says Neil and nudges Chris.
" Yes what he said!" says Chris nodding. " We weren't actually trying to steal Ice cream...." He adds. And Neil facepalms. Seeing that their mother is not convinced with their little lie. They both sigh.
" Ok we were trying to steal Ice cream but It wasn't his idea I swear, he didn't even want to do it I forced him," says Neil.
" What?! hey!! you liar! Mom he is lying, It wasn't his idea!! I swear! he was actually trying to stop me too but I didn't listen" retorts Chris.

" No mom! Don't listen to him! He is lying! I was the one who was craving ice cream and it was my idea. Punish me" says Neil
" No mom! He sure was craving ice cream but it was my idea don't punish him! Punish me!" says Chris.
" Chris Stop Lying! It was not your idea!"
" No Neil you stop lying It was my idea!"
" Chris, Stop lying! "
" Neil you stop lying! "
Seeing her kids try to take each others' blame Sophia sighed. Whenever they did this it would be hard to punish either of them, and their mistake wouldn't be too big to punish both of them, So the only option was to forgive them this once.
" Yes, mom! punish both of us! " the voices of her kids pulled her out of her trance. she shook her head, and just as she was about to declare the verdict, they heard a snap and their heads turned to the door to see their dad clicking a picture of them.
Sophia sighed, as tears trickled down her cheeks as her fingers traced the frame, reminiscing the old memories of the day the picture was taken.
" Hey! don't hit me!" she heard the deep voice of her son Chris.
" I am trying to hit some sense into you" another deep voice belong to her other child Neil replied chuckling. They stopped immediately seeing tears in the eyes of their mother.
" Woah! what's with the waterworks!" said Neil as soon as he saw his mother's tears.
" Yeah you know we don't like it when you cry.." says Chris.
" Yeah, you shouldn't cry over Chris because he is stupid." Says Neil shaking his head.
" Yeah and Please don't cry over Neil he is not worth your precious tears" retorts Chris
" Hey! I am not worthless " Neil exclaims in mock offence.
" And I am not stupid " Chris retorts.
" Well fair enough, anyways that's beside the point"
" Yeah tell us why were you crying?" Asks Chris, while he wipes her tears. Sophia just chuckles wiping her tears as they continued to fall.
" I am going to miss you both, the house is gonna be so lonely once you leave.." she says hugging the frame to herself, While the boys look over each other and then at their mother. They pull her into a hug.
" Shh mom we aren't gonna disappear from the face of the earth"
" yeah we are just a phone call away and we aren't even going too far"
" Yeah it's just an hour away and we will come to visit in the holidays."
" Yeah Please don't start with your sentimental talk about how fast we grew up "
" Yeah I am not the biggest fan of tears either"
" Oh, all hugs for your mother and I get nothing?" Asks Jacob their father standing at the door.
" C'mon dad how can we forget our partner in crime," says Neil still holding on to his mother with one hand and extending his other for his dad.
" Yeah the one who always did some stupid mistake which got us caught by mom," says Chris doing the same and pulling his dad into their family hug.
" Hey, not my fault I am not good at sneaking or lying" Jacob defends as he wraps his hands around his little family.

" Woah! this Place is huge!" exclaims Neil looking at the huge living room. Right now both the boys were stood in the living room of Jaden's house. A few days back Jaden had told them that he needed housemates since his house was too big for him. He actually invited them to move in with him since they all went to the same school and the twins worked at Jaden's cafe called 'The cafe of music', and both the places were very near to his house while the twins had to travel for about an hour to reach there. And the twins were already planning to move out of their parent's house. So when Jaden presented them with the offer they thought it would favour both of them, the twins and Jaden. And hence there they are.
" Yeah it's beautiful" agreed Chris
" Thanks, the rooms are upstairs," says Jaden while pointing to a flight of stairs leading upstairs.
" Okay but are you sure you don't want us to pay?" asks Chris looking unsure.
" Yeah, besides you both already help a lot at the café, it's the least I could do" reassures Jaden.
" Thanks, Jaden we owe you "
" Yeah JJ we owe you "
" No it's actually me who owes you both for helping me with the café," says Jaden chuckling.
" There are two unoccupied rooms, you can choose one, in each room, there are two beds so there won't be a problem and each room has an attached bathroom, my room is at the end of the hallway and if you need anything, feel free to ask me alright?" Says Jaden while the twins admired the room they had just entered. Like Jaden said two beds were pushed to either side of the room between the beds were two desks for study purposes and at the foot of each of the beds were two closets and another door which probably led to the bathroom.
"Alright! good night guys " says Jaden as a small yawn slips his lips.
" Goodnight JJ " the twins chorus and plop on to their beds, after turning off the lights.
