Right as he read that, a circle full of purple runes appeared beneath him reminding him of one of his favourite Nintendo games. He quickly left the room after that wanting to level and become stronger.

After about 10 minutes of exploring the starfire, he encountered his first enemies and they were strange.The first one was an octopus creature with green skin and acid dripping from the beak in the centre, leaving a sizzling sound in its wake and a crab with a silver sheen across its shell with armoured eye stems, which quickly swivelled round and found a man with a bloody bandaged hand wielding a scalpel, with the other hand clutching an amorphous blob of flesh, which if you saw that in the street would make you run away and scream. But what this guy did was, he clicked his claws together and charged. What jordan did was charge towards the octopus and get around 6 slashes before retreating he got a notification but dismissed suddenly flesh bert began wriggling out of his grasp. When he escaped he pulled himself towards the corpse and began “absorbing” it but jordan couldn't afford to study the process as a metal crab had just taken hold of his wrist and this was a big crab, so he couldn't just lift it. So he switched the scalpel to his other hand and that one got clamped but luckily it couldn't do anything either.

As jordan looked at fleshbert he noticed a beak protrude from the folds of flesh and it looked like it was coming from its front but he couldn't tell. Then as he thought the crab was gonna rip his hands off, a splattering of acid came from Fleshberts beak and landing on the crabs metallic shell making it cry out in pain, momentarily releasing him and allowing to stab down through the now flimsy shell and killing it

Wait, he thought whilst grabbing fleshbert marvelling at the new beak. He knew the way back to the lab and was just about to open it when he heard a “I found you” coming from the hallway to his right making him jump in shock, but before he could comprehend what just happened, the man charged, the edges of his body strangely “glitching” whenever he moved, and wielding a glowing blue cutlass he aimed straight for the heart and it bounced off his skin, leaving a gash in his tattered shirt he immediately began feeling those double stats and felt a strength rising from inside him, his vision and his mind sharpened and he gripped the man’s right wrist and squeezing using all his strength crushing the man's hand and making him release a guttural scream and making Jordan instantly regret it, but before he could see how he's doing that glitch effect covered his body and when it subsided he was gone.
