As Jordan awoke to the screeching of his alarm clock he sighed to the realisation that it was Wednesday, the worst day of the week in his opinion. But it was a necessity to go to work to get money to get food. That didn’t mean he didn't like his job, it was just a bit monotonous at times, not a true challenge. But it couldn't be helped so ploughed through and did it.

The commute to work was a slow one due to traffic but it gave him plenty of time to think about his sister and her engagement.The wedding was scheduled to happen at the same time of a business trip of his so he couldn't go, especially if he wanted that promotion.

Eventually he pulled up at the whitewashed building that was his workplace. After going through the sterilisation process, he walked into the lab and greeted some of his co workers, he didn't really know all of them but he had worked with them all in one form or another. He sat down at his desk and logged into his computer to see what the nightshifters had done.

It was a bit of a surprise when at lunch no one was there, which was weird because he has always seen at least a few people there. But alas he just got his usual tuna salad and sat down. It was nice but it seemed that they had gotten a new brand of tuna, still he would survive (somehow), after that he delayed going to the lab for some coffee which was when he saw it he almost gave his lunch the pleasure of being on the floor, but before he could the grotesque long limbed creature with a smushed up “raisin” face attacked with a grace that was so surprising all jordan did was stumble on the floor. He somehow managed to pick himself up and run as fast as his feet could take him, which was fast, he had never been an athlete but he had liked to go running once in a while. HIs train of thought was quickly disrupted when a hand grasped his ankle, looking behind him he saw a ridiculously stretched arm connected to a strange twenty digit hand coming from beneath a door on his right, but he managed get it off him by stamping on it and continued running, the adrenaline coursing through him.

After he had ran for a while he looked back and saw it wasn't chasing him anymore which was good but what wasn't good was the screen that appeared in front of him that threatened to break down his currently frail mental faculties .

He always loved to make builds in video games that focused on summoning and buffing monsters to fight with him, so to think he could do that in real life was kinda amazing.
