One day, an island suddenly emerged in the pacific ocean near Tahiti. All the world powers tried to claim it but nothing that went there ever returned. Eventually, they gave up and the island was declared off-limits and cut off from the rest of the world. Decades later a group of soldiers decided to enter the island to search for a miracle to cure someone dear to them. Armed with the newly obtained superhuman bodies they gained from eating creatures captured near the island and enough weapons to take on a country, they embarked on a journey into the unknown without hesitation. They ventured into hell, they walked into Gehenna.
