I saw the confusion and worry in her eyes, so I tried to calm her down. So I tried to hold her hands and she walks away, I got worried this isn't going well. I sit back down and fear she will walk out the door, so I just let her choose. I can't decide for her, so I wait for the door to open and when it doesn't open I look at her. She looked as though her mind was racing around through her eyes traveling as she walks around.
"I'm sorry if I scared you, but you can leave if you want," I say resigned to my fate.
"Can I? I don't know if I can, sorry I've had a rough night before this" she says.
I give her some time to calm down, She finally sits on the bed. So I tried to calm her by smiling friendly, and her breathing came out normal again. So I was relieved she didn't just leave, I try to think how to explain my problem.
"I know this is overwhelming me changing forms, so yes I am cursed to be here mostly. Fairies are real since you met the queen, the whole fortune teller thing and I guess that was her way" I say waiting now.
"Her way of what? somehow getting me here to do only what she wants" She says like I had a choice.
"I have no choice in the matter, but you do and you're allowed to leave," I say as it is true.

I look away to hide my issues and wait for something that was waiting in the air between us. Something seemed weird about this, but I couldn't place it and so I left the room to give her space. I needed some air, so I went to my happy place my garden, and the only beauty in my life. Touching a blue rose tried to bubble a bad memory to the surface, so I move away from it. Letting out a sigh I sit on a bench between two statues and wondered about my sister.
Does she get my letters? Is she still with my dad or with my mother? I have no clue how long I've been sitting there crying. The girl comes over and sits beside me, so I look at her unsure of why she is still there. More like why didn't she run away screaming? Go back to the life I'm sure she has.
"I had a bad night with my friend not believing I'm gay, so I ran away from the party. She tried hooking me up with the town's known rapist, she is the only one to believe him innocent" she says out of the blue.
"Why are you telling me this?" I say a little concerned now.
"because I had to talk to someone about it, I needed to let it out or I would blow up," she says.
"I guess it is better to let it out not bottle it up inside," I say calming down.
"My name is Roseline, but I go by Rozz with friends," Rozz says.
"a nice name for a beautiful girl," I say holding her hand a bit.
Rozz blushed and didn't pull away her hand, so maybe it's okay to enjoy sitting here together. I waited with her until the morning light and felt calm for the first time in years. So I told her we could meet again or she could stay here with me and do whatever she wants for however long she wants. She seemed to think of it and smiled, but didn't say anything for the longest of time. I held her hand and got up to lead her to the gate of the garden to the woods.
She walked off for now, but I was sure she would be back.
