It feels like forever since I was brought in to this world, though in truth I have only been in this world for just 6 years or name days if you prefer, and have only just receiving my memories from my past life as well as a boon granted by whatever deity sent me to this new world.

I got something that seemed to mostly be based on an anime that i had recently watched not too long before my supposed demise in my past world, that boon being in the form of a sort of system, more specifically a store system. It was obviously slightly different than what I remembered from the anime as I couldn't buy electronics or anything of that nature but I could buy other things such as all kinds of foods and spices and anything else that could be found before the dawn of real technology aside from guns and gun powder and the such.

it's almost amusing honestly, how much the system complimented my new life as the son of a half way decently well of merchant family. Thankfully i grew up in a decently sized family that mostly acted as a traveling merchant family, primarily by ship, I also had both a father and mother, and older brother by almost a decade who was 16 name days old, two sisters, one 12 name days old and the other 5 name days old.

My elder brother, Thomas, was away fighting in a sellsword company currently, learning how to wield a blade while my father dealt with procuring product for trade while my mother primarily dealt with the finances and organizing things while us younger siblings helped as we could. Obviously myself and my youngest sister couldnt do much being 6(myself) and 5 for her.

After my awakening, it took me days to figure out the system as best as i could. it took coins to buy things from the system but thankfully, just like in the anime that i remember, the items were fairly on the cheap side when it came to procuring goods such as spices, alcohol, and food stuffs, thankfully all these things came packaged as one would expect from this world instead of modern packaging, such as casks or barrels for wine and beer. All these things were fairly on the expensive side so for a merchant this system would be a blessing but that is not all the system could do.

I could also buy other things that would be useful in this new world i found myself in such as things like a cast iron stoves on the cheap as they werent a thing in this world yet it would seem. I could also buy things such as high quality medieval weapons such as swords, bows, crossbows and anything inbetween for a decent price and probably better than anything found in this world aside from something like Valerian steel.

The last thing i noticed that i could buy that would be useful if slightly morally questionable, were people. From what i understood from the system, these people werent slaves exactly, though they were inherently loyal to the individual who summoned them, but if they were mistreated too much or not reasonably taken care of, they could either revolt or simply leave depending on the situation.

Currently though it doesnt really matter as i am only 6 name days old and cant buy squat as i dont have a single silver to my name yet so that is frustrating in of itself, though buying something like a soldier or knight or better was currently blocked out by the system as i am not currently a lord or a magister or anything equivalent to such. As of right now i am current consigned to only be able to summon someone equivalent to a peasant levy, not a professional soldier or anything, i can summon hunters and simple small folk also of any type you can think of though.

I could alter things about the individual physically speaking, including their genders, height, frame, skin tones and generally their looks. this could probably be highly abused in many ways but depending on the choices, the prices could also increase either minimally or by a lot depending on the choices made. For example if i wanted a small folk peasant the size of the mountain, it would cost me around 5 gold dragons, if i wanted someone with the mountains skills, strength, and such in battle, he would cost closer to 50 gold dragons.

50 gold was enough for a peasant to retire, probably enough to cover their expenses for the rest of their lives so it was not an insubstantial sum of coinage. A normal guard would simply run me a single gold coin, while an actual knight or someone equivalent would cost 5 gold. Still a lot but far more reasonable. If i wanted someone who was basically champion level, such as Barristan Selmy, he would run me 100 gold dragons. Expensive for someone like me or any other type of peasant but if i was a lord, this system would be world breaking broken. even a poorish lord could probably conquer Westeros with my system but alas, i am but a simple merchant.. for now.

on to better news! buyiung someone such as a peasant, would only run me 7 silver stags, which tells me the system doesnt want me to start off too broken, or at least thats what im guessing as its limiting my ability to buy actual soldiers, but allowing me to recruit peasants. anyone bought from the system can do anything any other person can do so they arent simply consigned to their lot. in other words a peasant can become a knight with enough effort and training just like any other man or woman. also people with skills, such as blacksmithing or sailing for example, can cost anywhere from 15 to 30 stags.

there is an option for dragons but the requirements are pretty much insane for my current self. A million gold dragons and the stipulation of being married to a Targaryen. i would have to forget such things for the time being as they were completely out of my reach by far.

Honestly there was nothing I could do for the next few years other than make things appear for the next few years unless i wanted to tell my new family about my gift in some sort of way or simply make things appear for selling anonomysly in our store room some how but im sure my family would become suspicious after a while so i was current at a loss for what to do currently as a 6 year old.
