A.N. Sorry for my absence, I am on business trip and had almost zero time to write, so it took me a few days to finish this chapter.

Hiro here. In stories kings are graceful and righteous for no specific reason, in history most famous kings are tyrants, dictators, fiends of all kinds and worst of them all are reformers, that shove their vision of Utopia down the throat of common folk, ruining economy and settled standards while they at it, as old saying goes, path to hell is lined with good intentions, I assume in my humble opinion (imho(私見では)). But I can’t deny that a basis of kingdom is first and foremost a protectorate of king and his military might against invading neighbors and barbarians, then again it only applies to history of my previous world.
Here I stand before the embodiment of this kingdom's might a king’s castle or the walls of inner castle to be precise, I passed few of outer districts while sending soldiers off towards their families, looks like I will have to come up with some way to enter the palace, I approach the gates and guards restrict my further advance, gate guards ask of me:
“Only upper nobles may enter inner palace, state your business” it looks like I wouldn’t have been stopped if I had a personal guard squad and slave palanquin like previous noble.
“I have to report a grave news to the King” I say as I show a piece of cloth that I pull out of the leather bag, I moved it from inventory to leather bag as I came up with the reason to request kings audience.
Guard looks at the cloth that was once a banner of kings brothers army, and now was stained in blood, he looks at me and say. “How do I report you?”
“I am Sigfred Dragonslayer the witness of battle” I say as I hope for this to work out somehow.
One of guards approaches me and say
“I will guide you to audience hall but where are your guards?” looks like they don’t perceive a single young looking noble as threat.
“I had to flee from bandits after they took out my guards” I lied so and looks like it worked as guards gaze showed pity.
I was guided to the audience halls gates, there was few nobles before me but after some minor convincing and the grim appearance of banner most of them just left, it was obvious that their business won’t be resolved soon as king will be grieving over the death of his brother.
After a short wait doors that could be called gates opened and I was announced as I entered the audience hall, I saw a man in his 30’s a young king by the standards of my previous world, but judging by his appearance he was the force to be reckoned with if I wasn’t an OP character.
I walk up to throne and as I show the banner to the king I say as I drop the banner:
“This army was crushed by me, but I tried to show mercy to your men, but they was fighting until there was nothing left of them, your brother was killed on my whim, for he dared to anger me” without any further talk guards was already trying to apprehend me as they circled around me and pointed their spears at me, then king stood up and said.
“What is the meaning of this farce are you trying to replace my fool?” he was in disbelief of my words and it means I will have to demonstrate my battle prowess {player.setav Destruction 100}[destruction skill lvl 100], {player.addperk all ids from Destruction}[added all perks from Destruction skill tree](A.N. I shorten the addperk sequence or plainly replace it with link to perks), {player.addspell 35d7f}[spell Wall of Flames added] I equip ‘Wall of Flames’ to both of my hands and release streams of heat in two concentric circles around me, with that action I scare the guards off then as I see some of kings entourage was about to flee I cut off their path with another walls of flames that looked like orange plasma(kind of like this) erupting from the floor and staying in boundaries of scorched floor as if floor itself was slowly vaporizing into plasma skipping the boiling part, then I say
“You have two choices you all die here or you all continue to live as you did but under my control” as I say that I walk out of the circles towards the king and say
“Gol Hah Dov(to everyone else sounds like a dragon roar) You will follow my will and every order as I say ‘That is my will’(MC usually speaks japanese but as he ‘Say’ certain words it means it was said in english)” now for the initial command
“You will dedicate your life and every thought to people you are responsible for, you will pledge your loyalty to me and follow my instructions ‘that is my will’” now I need to protect this pawn.
“Who is your chief advisor(関白)” he pointed at some man that looked older and wiser than king then I turn to him and say
“Gol Hah Dov You will follow my will and every order as I say ‘This is my order Advisor’, you will dedicate your existence for helping the king I appoint, to govern people of the kingdom into prosperity ‘this is my order advisor’” now for the most important part [concentrate on the king and refid 0x00fa1a4(refid or reference identificator, usually in e-scrolls games you get only refid when you click on npc) bid Sidonius_Liberian_3 (bid or base identification)] that’s too long to remember, I will call him Sid and why do I have to add San when I refer to my underling(下っ端)? (3 is spelled as san and is respectful form to address someone), {sidonius_liberian_3.setav health 1000, sidonius_liberian_3.setav healthrate 1000, sidonius_liberian_3.setav stamina 1000} next is [concentrate on advisor and refid 0x009ab77 bid Lucius_Suasor] {setessential lucius_suasor 1} and now the most interesting part.
“Try to stab the king once ‘this is my order advisor’” I say as I throw iron dagger to Lucius, he catches it and charges at the king, one strong looking advisor from king’s entourage pulls out steel sword and slashes at the chief advisor, and gets zero result as expected sword slips from his neck like it was made of tungsten, when he finally stabs the king everyone in the audience hall gasps but as he withdraws his dagger, everyone looks at king as he starts to look for wound, clearly shocked by quickly vanished pain, this will be enough to make a statement.
“I made chief advisor Invulnerable and Immortal, then made the king almost unkillable and from now on you both will serve me to make this kingdom prosper!” as I say that all that was in the audience hall started to shout in awe like “wohoooo” and “yeahhaaaa”.
“Advisor from this day forth you will guide king and study all the ways to improve the lives of citizens” then I turn to king and say
“King will lead the army to war, when kingdom will need to show its might” after saying that I dispel walls and circles of flames that was making this place quite hot.
After that I turned around and walked towards the exit no one tried to stop or follow me they just looked at me in awe, as I was walking {player.setAV Illusion 100}[skill Illusion level 100] {player.addperk all ids from Illusion}(here would have followed sequential adding of perks from Illusion skill tree but I will save you from that), {player.addspell 8f3eb}[added Muffle spell] and I use it with both hands {player.addspell 27eb6}[added Invisibility spell] also use it with both hands as I pass the opened doors, I walk through the hallways muffled and invisible until I left the palace.
In some dark passage I dispel ‘invisibility’ and ‘muffle’ and go towards one of the richest looking inns I saw on my way, it was in the lower noble district unlike your run of the mill(普通の) inn this one had a reception hall instead of a mess hall/tavern so before I talk, I try out my new perk from Illusion ‘Quiet Casting’ “
“I will stay in your most expensive suite” as I say that I see that she is thinking of giving me discount, but.
“I don’t need discounts” she smiles and say
“That will be 10 silver per night plus 3 of our premium meals and 2 Lunches” how long do plan to stay here?
“I will be staying for one year and don’t vacate the room when I am absent” I say as I add {Player.additem Silver_Coin 3500} and pour out 3750 silver coins from my bag on the counter and that leaves me with 229 silver and 400 copper, and quite shocked young woman.
“Can I see My room now?” I said after a little wait as she fainted when I said that, well to say the least I didn’t expect this.
“Help! We need some help here!” I say in a loud tone without shouting, after a few seconds some valet like guy shows up
“Can I Help you?” I point over the counter, he enters sees the fainted lady looks at me as I shrug my shoulders and say
“Can you call for the owner of this place?” he thinks for a moment sees the heap of coins jumps up and runs to the upper floor, as he left I try to awaken the lady.
“You Ok there? Hello wake up, don’t sleep at work” as she hears my last statement said in irritated tone she springs up in sitting position.
“What? Why?” she looks around as if she was torn from a pleasant dream, she then stands up and assess the situation for a minute, as the owner audibly runs down the stairs.
“This place is not for sale” says the chubby guy that came running from the flight of stairs.
“I will be staying in this place for a while, I would like for someone to guide me to my suite now” I say to clear up the misunderstanding, the possible owner looks at the heap of coins then at me and say.
“Your grace will stay for a year?, may I assume we are having an Imperial Minister stay in our humble inn?” looks like he started to jump to assumptions.
“I am just a heir of local noble and will travel back where I came from as soon as possible”.

The next day I stroll around some shopping district of upper nobles, looking for trouble but looks like public order on upper districts is better than I thought, I didn’t sense any shadowing throughout the day.
Next day I took a carriage and mapped whole capital except for capitol, but I can still ‘fast travel’ to palace, Looks like I can make a mental bookmarks and ‘fast travel’ to them but there still have to something like a building or a landmark to set as bookmark.
On the third day I ‘fast travel’ to the back alley in the lower district dressed as a peasant, then I go to the biggest inn on the lower district and enter it, I go through the mess hall and some drunk mercenaries to what looks like a bar and ask the bearded old man of around 40 or 50,
“How Much is for your best room?” I said as I put one silver on counter, I bought bigger coin purses for 429 silver and 400 copper when I was shopping.
“Room for merchant have guards room so it’s two rooms one bed, even if you don’t have guards you will still have to pay for guards room 80 copper for two days and with meals it will be 100 total, if you don’t have extra mouth to feed?” he really want’s to know if I have guards or not.
“Do you have rooms with single bed and no guards room?” need to make an impression here
“No, only rooms for merchants and rooms for groups of 4, 6, and 10 for 32, 36, and 40 copper per room, you can share room with some mercenaries, maybe hire someone if you have something that can be stolen and needs protection” he’s trying hard but I don’t need to scare off potential prey
“I will take the room with one bed for 7 days, and meals for single person you can keep the change”.
After trying dinner in this inn I left it unfinished and asked from the bartender
“Where I can eat something better and exchange silver for gold?” bartender widened his eyes and said
“Go to middle district on the upper street there is a bank, you should take a carriage they know the way there”
“I will take a stroll there I need to tour this place anyway” I saw few interested gazes from around a mess hall
As I was walking through market districts and streets as is I was touring the capital like some countryside hick, I sensed few stalkers with ‘Aura Whisper’, I had to reactivate it few times to detect new people as I walk from street to street.
I successfully guided my stalkers to some back alley as I made it look like I was admiring architecture, there was a dead end and I was evaluating construction quality of houses that looked like they was supporting each other, but the next moment I heard someone say
“Looks like we have a lost kid here, did you lose your mommy?” as I turned around there was one half bold strong looking dude with a drawn sword, one of the mercenaries from the inn, he was approaching slowly and said
“You better keep quiet, we will have some fun” he reached out and tried to rip my clothes, as I thought what the hell? There was 3 other mercenaries waiting for something around a corner, the 4 of them stalked me until this moment.
As he failed to rip the clothes off me, in his frustration he tried to cut my clothes, this is not the situation I was expecting
“
“Can I buy some gold coins in here?” I open the coin purse full of silver coins as I put it on counter and then put the second one
“We have a 2000 silver here but there is a fee for exchange, it’s 500 copper per one gold” I think he is trying to rip me off
“How pure is gold in this country's gold coins?” he looked a bit impressed for a moment, but then said
“I can’t tell for sure but it’s less than in imperial coins for sure, only pure gold coins are made by elf villages” this is an interesting bit of info
“How much for this coin then?” I say as I put gold Septim on the counter, he looks at it for a moment picks it up puts it on scale measures it and runs to back room, few minutes later he comes out and asks
“What is this coin? It’s pure gold, I never saw elven coins but this one has a human face on it” I thought I asked about price of it, not to study it
“How much silver you can give for it?” I say in a bit irritated tone with added intimidation from ‘speech’ perk.
“Well it weigh more that usual coin, it’s pure gold so it must cost at least 1100 silver, even if I just smelt it” so I can get 9 local gold coins
“So I will buy 9 local gold coins and that will live me with 696 silver with a discount” I put the rest of septims I had on me and add haggling from my ‘Speech’ perk(if I set ‘Speech’ skill to level 300 it will work almost like instant hypnosis)
“Of course wait a minute I will bring them right away” he ran off to the back room and it sounded like he was running down the stairs must be a basement vault or something.
“Here is your 9 gold and 696 silver would you like to count them?” I pull small coin purse that spawned with septims out of the leather bag and put it on counter
“Put 9 gold in this purse and I will have my purses back” so I just emptied one coin purse with silver and remover 304 from first, he scrambled to bring and collect 1304 coins to his purse.
I walked out and entered back alley, took out one gold coin and concentrated on it [refid 00001fcf9, bid Gold_Coin] {player.additem gold_coin}[one gold_coin added to inventory] ok now for the crime.
My previous attempt failed, so now I go to middle districts brothel and litter money there, after I leave and go for a stroll I am followed by someone again, I pretend that I don’t notice them this time they are much better at hiding than mercenaries, looks like some specialists of crime guild (if they have one here).
I carefully act as if I am mapping the area and get to another dead end, as I turn around there is 5 hooded figures, they approach silently (and it’s not like they just didn’t speak they moved without making any sound except for clothes moving in wind).

“You will travel with me”, “Yes I am yours to command” then we ‘fast travel’ to the trade outpost castle,
“Trudy this one will stay here and train female slaves to fight as she does”,
“Yes master, but what about those ruffians that came here claiming that Master send them?”,
“Let them pledge their loyalty to our family and to my name and accept them to family”
“Lucinda do you understand your task?”, “Yes master”. I ‘fast travel’ back {player.setav speech 300} let’s test out ‘speech’ perks,
“You 4 will follow me and obey me if you value your life” I say as I unbind them, look’s like ‘persuasion’ and ‘intimidation’ perks work fine, they stand up without trying anything stupid. I ‘fast travel’ to a back entrance of brothel in back street and enter the brothel than say,
“Guide me to your madam” and they obediently guide me, to the 2nd floor to the madam’s room, the old hag was training some young girls in the arts, [Bid Nanda](なんだ？what? This is creepy it’s like she’s asking me through my system)
“Nanda who are you working for, or who is protecting this here business, you better not lie to me or you will suffer consequence” for some reason every one cower away from me,
“I don’t know who told You my birth name, it’s been so many year since I heard it, but this will not work on me, you see I am the one who controls this capital from shadows, I have a stronger will than most of nobles, and you will see my magic” she starts pronouncing some magic I don’t know and 4 girls stand to protect her,
“
“Obey ME or DIE” as I say that everyone in room kneels before me.
“I-i can live if I serve you?” she asks as she kneels

Looks like I have dealt with crime lord, now for the agriculture and ins and outs of economics, I ‘F.T.’(I am tired of calling it ‘Fast Travel’) to my room in posh hotel(expensive inn), change to noble clothes, hire a hackney coach and travel to the outskirts of capital, a few kilometers away from capital was a farm village very poor land management, and horrible cattle and livestock conditions no wonder their food so tasteless, and meat so hard and fat-less, it took me a couple days to investigate the village and I am ready to make a conclusion.
