In a place far distant from Earth, In a huge hall spanning thousands of meters, a small man sat on his throne. Rather than calling it a man, it was more appropriate to call it a creature, or alien as some prefer. The creature was no more than 2 feet tall, with a long green beard almost half his own size. His green face was wrinkled by age, yet his slit-like pupils radiated a sharpness far differently.
"Why have you come?" The creature said out loud as space before he began to blur. From the size of a bean, a black tear drastically expanded hundreds of meters as dark almost 9 feet creature appeared.
"Galaxy Emperor" the creature, easily described what the humans called the typical demon, said with a slight bow.
The Galaxy Emperor looked at the Demon Prince. The demon race had a fearsome physical strength, capable of crushing thousands of Outlanders with a single sweep in their peak. This one was a son of the Military commander of his kingdom, and also a genius in the art of warfare.
"Speak Lisarthu"
"Do you remember the humans?" said Lisarthu politely. The galaxy emperor was the strongest being in the galaxy, the one who united everyone in the Chaos trillions of years ago. He didn't dare to be rude.
The galaxy emperor tilted his head and thought, "The weak race that lives on planet 3742812361? They were indeed weak, but he did sense a potential for growth."
"They have hardly evolved, and our Demon Researches found a way to create a battleground solely for the purpose of creating strong soldiers and, of course for entertainment" the demon prince continued.
"Go on," The galaxy Emperor said a bit interested
"The Growth-182 Elixir is actually suitable for the human race and coupled with the fact that they have a fast growth rate, they may give a slight boost in power at the Primordial Competition..."

Aelius coughed up a pool of blood as he laid in dirty mud. He had expected his death day to be a rainy day for some reason. A grand battle with millions of soldiers. He had expected a worthy death. Alas, guess Ares, the god of war wasn't happy with him after all.
In his first battle for Rome, Aelius was on the brink of death. He believed that he was something more, something special. But now, he realized that he was just like anyone else, just an ant trying to survive in this gruesome world filled with violence.
Just as he was about to close his eyes and kick the bucket, something whispered in his ear. "Today is your lucky day..." For some reason, it made him shudder.

Aelius felt himself lift from the ground. He couldn't open his eyes, nor could he even move. The last thing that he remembered before passing out in the darkness was the same cold voice saying, "Let's begin..."
"Argghhh!" Aelius awoke as he bolted up from the ground in a sitting position. I took a few seconds for his brain to activate. He appeared to be in a huge room of some kind, nonetheless, it was something he had never seen before.
There were more than hundreds of other men and women around him. Some of them wore clothes that he had never seen before. But we all had one thing in common, we all looked very confused at the moment.
Aelius was even more shocked when he found out that his body didn't have so much as a single scratch. The arrow wound and the spear that was impaled in his stomach had just mysteriously disappeared...What is going on?
Is this Zeus doing?
Suddenly, Aelius felt a sharp pain in my neck, In fact, everyone did. He rubbed his neck with his hand only to feel a small wound..."Wha-"
He's thoughts were interrupted as a stream of information came crashing into his mind. A painful cry slipped through his lips as he covered his ears with his hands.
Status? Level? Abilities?
With the information came memories that weren't his own. Minutes later, he stood up from the ground. He tried to organize all the new information. He still couldn't believe it.
This place wasn't in the Kingdome of Rome. This wasn't even the so called planet earth that he just learned about. Weren't gods real? We just made it up? Alas, all that didn't matter right now since he had much greater problems right now.
The one thing that Aelius found out about this place was that it was a testing ground. A test if they could break away from their human limits and grow stronger. He didn't know a lot, but one thing he knew was that he wanted power. He didn't want to end up like last time...

Aelius looked through his status. In the corner he saw the image of himself. Long blond hair scattered down on his shoulders. He wasn't big and bulky, but lean. He hadn't trained a lot before going out in the war against the damn German tribes.
Aelius snorted and went through the crowd of people that rushed to the Weapon brackets. There were no fighting, well the information said that killing another human in the safe zone meant harsh punishment. Not nice.
Aelius got his hands on a short sword and leather west that he quickly equipped.
Steel sword
7-14 damage
Leather west
5 Armor
Then everything happened too quickly. Everyone began to form groups. We all knew, thanks to the information, that a group was required for the first challenge.
As Aelius was about to step forward he felt a hand on his shoulder, "A fellow Roman?"
Aelius turned around to see a middle-aged man standing behind him. The man had black short hair and brown eyes. He was rather short, but his wide build made up for it.
"You wanna join our group?" the man said pointing at a small girl and a tall and skinny guy in the corner.
Aelius looked around and saw that there were nearly no one alone anymore. He nodded.
"Good," the man said, "I'm Brutus by the way..."
Why didn't anyone panic? Why didn't we question what happened? Aelius didn't know, but in the information that entered their brain, there was also a special blob data that forced them to accept their situation. It affected their thoughts. It made them believe everything the system told you...
