Aelius Caecus, a common Roman foot soldier on the brink of death lies on the cold ground. With a spear impaled in his stomach, it doesn't look very bright for him. Luckily, it seems destiny has something in store for him. Aerius gets summoned to a place far away from earth, where he and other humans are forced to survive in a deadly battleground.
