Pef glared at the Floor 67 portal, while listening to his wife's explanation.
A golem, glowing with silver light.
"I spent all my mana, husband, and barely did a little damage. Even my special ectoplasmic hands did nothing." Miya concluded and shivered.
He eyed Lise for a second.
She nodded at him. "As expected from my Master. A true Immortal placed as a barrier." Lise said in a calm voice.
Lucia bounced up and down a bit on her toes. It made a mesmerizing view, but now it was not the time.
Pef glanced at his character page.
*Pef the Gamer
Saint Class
Level 225 Sorcerer
Level 15 Alchemist Elder.
HP 152500, MP 37500
Free attributes: 0
Strength: 60+11
Agility: 54+25
Constitution: 120+25
Magic: 900+35
Mind: 332+25
Charisma: 53+10
Karma: 53+5
Euros: 4.35 Billion.
With all those bonuses placed in Magic, he was getting near the Legendary status, and only needed about 30 more levels to reach 400 Mind, where he expected the next Tribulation to occur.
"We go in." he decided after a minute.
He should be strong enough. He should.
Now let's test that theory.
Pef and his wives entered the 67th Floor of the Paracelsus Dungeon, knowing they might die.
But then, that was always been the case. At least this time, they had a backup option of being resurrected with a lower level. Not that much of a deal, in the grander scheme.
The Floor was barren, land looking like burnt stone, with no features, no hills or mountains, no clouds in the air, just a silver sky, hiding the sun.
A hand emerged from the ground and soon it drew the rest of the body upwards, revealing a golem minion.
'Observe' Pef thought.
*Earth Golem Advanced.
Level 200. HP 20000,MP 200.
Status: petrified, unyielding, stoned.
Soon, more and more golems emerged from the ground, forming a silent army, staring up at the flying invaders.
"Lucia, Miya." Pef ordered softly.
His wives began unleashing their spells and abilities, slowly chipping away at the landlocked enemies, from the safety of their air position.
"The minions are already this strong, huh?" Lise murmured to herself.
"And they don't die easily at all. Must have tons of Magic Resistance." Pef replied wisely, summoning his Arclance.
He sped up, using his Nine Saintly Steps to engage the slow golems, and slashed with his white glowing Arc lance.

"Area spells, please." he demanded as he moved to the next targets.

A shower of pebbles and stones battered him from the golem army.

*Earth resistance gained.
Luckily, his Holy Barrier and his armor negated most of the damage.
The smashing of golems continued for hours, until the last one crumbled to dust.
*You have defeated 1000 Earth Golems. Gained 66 mil exp.
*You have gained the Duster Perk. Gain +10 percent damage vs golems.
Pef nodded at the notifications while flying up to regroup with his wives.
As expected, the game system gave him a bonus against the incoming boss, making the next fight a bit more easy.
A tiny bit.
The huge silver golem that emerged next was quite different from the inexpressive clay monsters.
It even had eyes, glowing with a silver and gold light. Pef had a bad feeling about this boss.
*Lot, the last golem. Immortal.
*Level 300, Saint class. HP 20 million. MP 3000.
*Status: enchanted, enspelled, petrified.
Then the boss open his mouth and a scream made the sky tremble.
*Ash wail resisted.
Another rumble and ash began falling from the sky like snow.
Pef decided speed was the factor here. Letting the boss prepare the terrain would be foolish.
He took out his druid staff and began launching Holy Torpedoes at the silvery golem.
His wives began firing spells as well, with little to no effect.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

His torpedoes did somewhat more damage, but it was not enough. Damn golem boss probably had 99 percent Magic Resistance.

Each flake of ash touching him was draining his hit points, like a Floor-wide area spell.
"We're on a timer here! Use CC on him. And do something about the ash!" Pef yelled while racking his brains for a new spell that could help.
Fortunately, thousands of hours of playing games weren't for nothing.
'I need to break his armor, or lower his resistances.' Pef thought and began working on that, while still casting Holy Torpedoes at the boss and dodging stone spears ejected from the golem's arms.
*You have created a new spell. Lower Resistance lowers Magic Resistance of one target by 10 percent. Cost 100 MP.
Pef cast that at once, noting the sharp increase in damage, both from his torpedoes, and the other spells raining down from his wives.
An acid cloud covered the golem's head, probably from Lucia.
*You have created a new spell, Area Decay. Lowers all resistances in a 50-meter radius by 5 percent. Cost 500 MP.
"Yes!" Pef yelled in joy.
The boss wasn't moving around, so casting the spell at his feet helped a bit more. He drank a MP potion and kept firing.
A hundred torpedoes later, the Holy Torpedo finally leveled up.
*Holy Torpedo reaches level 5. It has 1000x magic damage and 450 percent Penetration. Cost 1750 MP.
Pef sighed in relief. His damage amount kept climbing while the MP consumption was getting reduced a little.
Still, by the time the boss was withered to half-health, his wives had to retreat and heal themselves.
They didn't have the huge regeneration like he did, and the ash kept burning through their HPs.
Pef kept going, soloing the boss from a hundred meters up, always careful to dodge the spears shot by the immortal golem. He didn't want to test his luck with the potential damage of a level 300 boss.
Mana potion after potion, his MP were restored and Pef kept shooting.
The Holy Torpedo leveled up again a bit later, reaching 500 percent penetration.
Entering Floating Meditation wasn't an option while he had to dodge the spears, so only thing he could do was keep drinking more potions. Pef had thousands of Mana potions in his inventory, so it wasn't that much of a problem.
Finally, the boss Hit Points were depleted and it broke into silver shards, crashing to the ground and sinking into it.
*You have defeated Lot. You gain 66 mil Exp.
*You gain a level.
*You have defeated a Saint Immortal and gained 100 HP and MP.
*You have found an Elixir potion. You have found 2 Major Mana Potions.
*You have found an Enchanted Silver Earring. Grants 30 Magic and 30 Percent MP recovery.
*You have found the Torah Summon Golem Manual.
Pef checked the spell book at once.
*You need 400 Mind, to learn this spell.
Checking the time, Pef found he had been in combat for nearly 19 hours.
"Damn it, so tired." he muttered as Raiju ran to his side to support him.
*Your Lightning elemental, Raiju has reached level 20 and can evolve. Cost 30000 MP. Agree? Yes/Wait.
"What do you say, buddy? Wanna grow stronger?" he asked with concern.
The elemental glanced at the sky then towards the place where the boss has just died.
"Enemy was too strong, Master. Maybe next time, I can help more." Raiju replied after a few seconds.
Pef nodded tiredly and pressed Yes with telekinesis.
Soon enough, the sky above began churning and concentrating into a single huge cloud.
Raiju ran a hundred meters away and opened his toothy mouth wide at the sky, just as a silver bolt crashed down on him, with enough power to shatter the earth under.
Raiju glowed silver for a minute, before slowly eating and digesting the Heaven's energy.
*Your elemental Raiju has survived a Silver Tribulation and has evolved to a Major Lightning Elemental.
*Raiju gains Chain Lightning, Thunder aura and Thunder armor. Raiju is now a Legendary class and will restore to life after death, after 24 hours of cool down.
"Uh, no mention of private dungeons? Simply immortal?" Pef wondered.
A tiny laugh sounded as Gaia ruffled Raiju's fur. "Oh, my elementals are all immortal, my dear Pef. They do however have plenty of other disadvantages. Still, if you do become a Legendary class yourself, I might throw you a boon as well. Just in case." the goddess concluded with her usual cheerful voice and vanished into the wind.
"...We beat the golem. Haha. Now we can farm him, for so much HP and MP!" Miya yelled as she came to land near Pef.
Pef sighed as he fell asleep.
