“Whaaaat!!!” Lea screamed out loud. She felt like her whole world was turned upside down. Mei, looking upset that she forgot to say this earlier. “Again, you’ll be going to Everleigh. It’s a school reserved for royal families. This is necessary for all royalty when they turn 21. Your parents even tried to pull some strings, but the Universal State caught on just as things were going smoothly.”
“Didn’t I learn everything when I was 5 years old?” Lea asked with disbelief. “Don’t tell me that was all for nothing.”
“We gave you everything you needed up until now. I myself don’t exactly know why the Universal state makes it mandatory, but they expect that every royal member goes through it.” Mei explained to Lea, who started to lean her head towards the ground. “So, what should I expect when going to a school?” Mei looks at Lea, thinking that because of Lea's reaction, she must be miserable. “You’ll need to learn things just like we did 16 years ago. Although, your work there will probably be easier because it’s spread out across 3 years, something that your parents aren’t exactly happy with.”
“What about the other people there? I’ve never really had any connection with anyone my age.” Lea asked Mei, not letting any emotions come out of her voice. “Well, there’ll be other royal families, so they would probably expect everyone to know all of the proper etiquette. Both the young women and men-” That’s when Lea took her head up and looked as if she was about to explode from excitement. She tries to get as close to Mei as possible, making sure she heard everything right. “Can you say that again? Are there really going to be boys there?” Mei looks at her, completely thrown off by Lea’s reaction. “Yes Lea, but it’s strictly forbidden to do anything obscene on school grounds, including the dormitories.” Lea turns away from Mei, looking almost like a sad puppy. “Oww, so no holding hands or kissing?” Mei, even more confused than before, looks at Lea. “No, that's okay, just not anything… worse, I guess.” Mei starts to blush by even thinking about it. “What do you mean?” Lea asks, hearing Mei, but unknowing of what she was talking about. ”I’m not qualified to talk about those things to you Lea.” Mei starts to almost look like her head is going to explode.

“Anyways, when do I go?” Lea asks, suddenly changing the subject, even though she doesn’t know what Mei was talking about. Mei starts to gain back her composure before answering. “In a couple of months. And I’ll be going with you, since the school allows you to have someone with you. It’s common for royalty to have a maid with them there.”
“Awww, can’t someone else go with me?” Lea starts to have that look of sadness in her face again. Mei doesn’t take this too harshly. “Well, that way, I wouldn’t be able to assist you like we did earlier today.” “Fiiine” Lea says reluctantly.
“Oh, but first we need to do one more thing before you’re able to go.”
The two arrive at a large building. Their horse carriage stopped just in front of the entrance, where the name Everleigh is clearly visible. “Why are we here now? Am I not starting later?” Lea, with a small amount of sadness still inside her eyes, walks off the carriage, assisted by Mei. “We still need to fill out some paperwork before you’re officially enrolled. It’s required of you to be there as well.” The two then continue inside the school grounds. Mei asks one of the staff where they need to go and head over. Just before they try to open the door, it suddenly swoops open and hits Lea, making her lose her balance and fall.
“Owww” Lea utters to herself. “Oh, my apologies. Here, let me help you up.” The young man looks over at her and reaches out his hand. His green eyes and blonde hair grabs Lea’s attention. “Thanks” Lea says and takes his hand to stand back up. “The name’s Chris from the Landers family. Are you also here to enroll?” Lea tries to wipe some of the dry dirt particles off her dress. “My name’s Lea from the Ayanda family. Yes, that’s what we’re here for.” Chris points down the hall, where one big door is at the very end. “The room’s right over there. My apologies again and I guess I’ll see you at the start of the year.” Lea stares down his eyes, captivated. “Yeah, thanks.” Lea and Mia go through the door and make their way through the hall. While they walk, they faintly hear the voice of someone else. “Was that the girl from the Ayanda family?”
