Ross was never exceptional. He never got the girl, never took a stand for what was right, never learned any exciting tricks. He'd always been the back-up to others he knew, and if not a supporting role, a punching bag. All that failing, he was a massive nerd, through and through. When a horrible accident forces him into an alternate world ruled by magic, monsters and inter-species conflict, Ross realizes he hasn't got much of a choice but to try and play back-up to the heroes he encounters in this new reality - something he's perfectly happy with. Unfortunately, he keeps finding himself in the limelight unintentionally and unwillingly, and it's all thanks to a truly unique set of abilities only he has obtained. Using his role-playing knowledge and mysterious Full Counter abilities, Ross will face threats to his life, his will and his inverted tendencies, though he has one lesson he must learn.
