Chapter 4

On the other side of the planet, another operation is ongoing simultaneously with Dion’s night infiltration on his side of Adesos, the official name of his planet.

A bright and lovely morning welcomed an average small-town rural district in Adesos that is mainly surrounded by farms, fields, forests, and pastures because of the bountiful lands of the planet. A scenery surrounded by green grasslands and large spaces gives its residents plenty of privacy. There may be dirt roads or unpaved paths that are currently being walked on by its citizens.

Grand manors were sticking like a sore thumb among the rural districts. These luxurious manors' houses are owned by barons that ruled the districts, the smallest administrative unit of the Star Empire.

One mansion can be seen in broad daylight. The mansion with its daily scenic of authority and security of the rural areas with guards guarding every perimeter around it.

But inside is different; the baron that lived at least 100 years is being overwhelmed by an android that suddenly attacked him from outside, breaking his office windows.

Aristocrats differ from commoners they’re ruling as they have access to biotechnology. Capsules with a specific bio-fluid composition can enhance the minds and bodies of nobility that undergo these applications.

The only limiting factor to this enhancing bio-fluid is one must wait until their bodies fully ingest the bio-fluid chemicals and supplement its administration with the exercise of the body and brain.

The Star Empire only allows the aristocrats to use the enhancing bio-fluid to improve their fighting prowess to protect the empire and strengthen their grip on their underpowered subjects.

The Imperial family hides the process of how to make this enhancing bio-fluid as a way for them to ensure their vassals follow them using the bio-fluid as bait but, not even this can give the Imperial family the absolute authority they want to control all their vassals.

Even a baron in this mansion can have the 36x strength of a regular citizen because he is taking the enhancing bio-fluid ever since he became a teenager.

With the destroyed bodies of androids on the stone floor, one might think he is winning even with multiple shallow cuts to his body. But with endless supplies of android attacking him and their impeccable coordination, the baron only thinks that he is being toyed with by his mysterious assailants.

And sure enough, their controller Fairy can use everything at her disposal to make this easier like Dion did. She can lower his body parameters to make him sluggish, make her androids weapons deal an insane amount of damage, and even set the baron's physical resistance at its lowest to knock him out quickly.

Fairy has always been a mysterious ‘entity’ for Dion ever since she overwrote the base foundation code he wrote in her functions.

Dion is sure that his algorithm codes haven’t vanished in her programming, it might be rewritten in a foreign programming language he never discovered until he died. Fairy always obeyed Dion, and he observed nothing ‘off’ about her so he just let Fairy run rampant on anything she pursued.

The toying of the baron ended because of a call to Fairy “Angel’s Watcher, can you turn off the electrical grid?”

Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel.

This prompted Fairy to finish her part of the work.

The toying situation for the baron becomes completely one-sided. One android parried his sword attacks while another android attacked him at his blind spot.

Fairy called Dion to say “Electrical grid on standby, can be turned off on command.”

The androids continued on their chain attacks and never gave the baron a slight relief as with different androids slashes in his leg, torso, and arms.

Dion called back for confirmation “Now.”

The baron, after being tossed around like a top, falls forward. The finisher did not even come from their arm swords, a kick at the back caused the noble to fall forward with his face looking sideways, and with a straight punch on his face, he’s a goner.

As Fairy called to Dion to say “The marquis mansion secured, good work.” the androids in the rural district began their translocation of the bodies in the baron manor.

After some seconds, Dion called again “How about our other operations?” to which Fairy answered “All assignments executed successfully. All hounds are in our possession, the streets are cleaned.”

The manor was picked clean of people and valuables. Someone will discover sometime the empty manor later this day but no one will know what was transcribed on this manor except for the news they will hear on their televisions later that week.

At the same time, a similar situation is occurring on another side of Adesos planet.

A warm sunlight hits the buildings in a bustling city. The streets and stone sidewalks are crowded with self-driving cars and pedestrians passing by each other.

The sun casts shadows on the different high-rise apartments and commercial buildings that are open for business and booming as people take breaks to enjoy a meal or engage in recreational activities

The Star Empire feudal government is more lenient about rules than its prehistoric feudal society.

A decadent lifestyle where the nobility lived lavish lives while the masses can live comfortably but worried about the fact that the higher classes can take anything away from them anytime they want.

Adesos is once a planet of the Republic, the hated enemy of the Star Empire.

At least, 60% of people living on the Adesos planet are former Republic citizens.

The Star Empire has chattel slaves under their laws but they only allow the enemy military and higher officials as slaves, granting the citizens of the captured systems full citizenship status as long as they don’t have direct participation in the harm of any imperial citizen.

However, an imperial citizen and those naturalized as one are equal in status; imperial citizens are not above a naturalized citizen as they are both ‘modern peasants’ of the aristocrats.

An imperial citizen doesn’t have freedom of speech and cannot have heard of anything against the government.

Children will be conditioned to be perfect citizen empire at schools.

Even televisions were filled with propaganda pieces allowed by the imperial family and high-ranking nobilities.

Most entertainers like actors, singers, dancers, content creators, etc. must get government approval, and have their created content checked for anything against the government or they will be arrested and silenced.

Citizens with no status or wealth, an average citizen cannot get tertiary education and cannot file for a permit for living on the planet they were born on.

There are many restrictions under the Star Empire laws and constitutions that can only benefit the nobility and those who can pay but average citizens can only lower their heads and be submissive to the ruling elites.

Even the imperial citizens have a grudge against the aristocrats and their ‘Divine Right to Rule’, they are powerless against an enhanced knight, more so to an older higher rank aristocrat. Most of the powerless people just learn to bow down, it is to be killed or to serve.

However, as there is oppression there are forces that wish to thwart them.

Like in Adesos planet. Of course, if 60% of the 3 Billion Adesian population are former republic citizens; you can expect some of them to act as spies for their true motherland.

In one city on the other side of the Adesos planet, at least 80 people are spies living their daily lives as citizens you will never suspect as one.

On its sidewalks, 13 scattered people can be seen walking in the city, reporting to each other with papers.

The spy noticed the three suited people walking in his front; it was too late before he noticed the androids boxed him up before being silently shot in the middle of the street.

The androids caught and translocated him away before they dissemble their box formation to catch another spy.

Skillful maneuvering of the androids that spies tasked to look over for their allied spies didn’t notice anyone is missing until they themselves are missing.

Inside the homes are not safe either. A woman stood up and went to the kitchen, she left an unlicensed pistol on her living room table. She went to her kitchen fridge and took milk to drink.

As she turned around, an android entered her vision and quickly punched her stomach causing her to crash on her still-opened fridge.

The android picked up the barely conscious woman and slammed her on the floor and her consciousness finally gave up.

The woman on the floor is also translocated to another location. The destroyed fridge and floor in the kitchen returned to normal before the android left.
