'What just happened?'
'Did I do that?'
'I was just thinking about it... It can't be a coincidence, right? There is no way that just when I was thinking about it the big bang happens'
'Wait wait let me think about this for a second, The school got hit by an air raid, I was charred and lost my leg then that pull then I thought of creating a universe and then it happens?!'
'Okay let's say that I did cause the big bang by thinking of it, why didn't anything happen when I thought of thing just after the bomb hit.'
'It must have been that pull I felt followed by everything turning weird.'
'Well let's test if I did cause the big bang, how you might ask? Well that's simple, I just create more.'
And then as the first test I think of the magic words 'Let there be light' full of expectance
Nothing happens.
'Okay so it wasn’t me thinking the words: “Let there be light.”'
I then start to repeat the story about creating the universe in my head. Yet again, nothing happens.
'Eh?! So, I didn't cause it? Or is it that I can only do it once.'
I saw a star forming in the corner of my vision.
'Huh? Isn't it way too soon for stars to form, it hasn't even been 5 minutes?!'
I wanted to move towards the star but- 'huh?'
Just when I thought of it, I teleported near that same star
'Wait what?!?' I started to think that I did indeed cause the big bang just because this can't be a coincidence.
I saw that the star was moving extremely fast, like abnormally fast, the best way to describe it was a spinning top toy that had gone berserk.
I moved a bit away from the star using the same way as before, and guess what? I saw asteroid belts forming around the star, then planets first they were all giant balls of lava, then one of the planets started turning green.
Well it doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened, the planet birthed life and only a few seconds later civilization was created, grand cities stood tall full of metal buildings.
Yet only a second later everything that was left were ruins and a dead planet.
Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
'What? Did I just see the Earth? No, I’m stupid, this planet doesn't have a moon' 'wait... how was I even able to see all the clearly?'
Having found yet another confusing thing. I look around, the scenery has changed, instead of burning fragments everywhere there are now stars and planets.
'Okay this is all going to fast I need a moment.' and I thought that everything should just stop.
And so it did. The star's, planets and asteroids that were moving so much just a moment ago instantly stopped.
'You know I could really use a system that just conveniently explains everything.' I though in the hope of that happening.
Yet nothing can be so easy can it.
...
After a long time of just comprehending the bizarreness of the situation I decided to test just how much authority I have over this universe I created.
'First I should try to see if I can destroy things' I think as I move towards the deal planet. Then I imagine the planet vanishing and it did.
'Oh wow, then let’s see if I can recreate the planet' Then I just imagine the planet being there and instantly it is.
'Then why couldn't I create another universe when I tried earlier? Well anyways let's see if I can destroy abstract thing.'
I tried to destroy gravity, 'oh yeah I should probably unfreeze everything' and when I did everything just crumbled.
'Okay... well what did I expect? Let's try to restore gravity then.' By this time, I already knew the answer, but I did it anyways and everything just condensed again.
'So why couldn't I create another universe at the start?' I tried to create another universe by imagining a boundless black void with a single point in it that just exploded into everything.
Yet again, nothing happened. 'is it just that I can't create things on that scale or is something else wrong.'
Thus to confirm my hypothesis I tried to destroy my current universe, I did this because I already knew that I could create planets and thus recreate the universe albeit very slowly.
Then everything turned dark again. And then I thought about a single point exploding into everything again.
White light flashes and the universe was born, again.
'Wait what was wrong with all those earlier tries? Is it just that I can't have multiple universes at the same time?'
'Possible but wouldn't it just be possible to create another universe by hand, why would instantly creating another one not be possible.'
I destroy my universe again.
Then I imagine two points simultaneously exploding and with my mysteriously enhanced sight I could see that indeed two points exploded
'Huh, why does this work?'
'Could it be this?'
I go towards a cloud of gasses that will no doubt form a star in a few seconds and then I imagine it speeding up all the way towards the supernova of the star, but instead of a normal supernova this star causes another big bang.
Then I see it rapidly burning through its own energy, turning into a red dwarf and finally going supernova causing an explosion comparable to the big bang.
I feel the need to facepalm at my own stupidity. 'It seems like you need to specify a location so when I thought of an endless void when I tried to create another universe. It was probably created; I just didn't see it.'
'So, what now?' I ask myself…
