13. A Kraken Curse [Part-2].

Screen opens back into the forest Infront of the giant tree as the Rangers continue to climb tree's. While Tanis watches will Meditating on her knees.

Tanis [Thoughts]- They've gotten better throughout this week. But Austin is struggling like I did.

Screen changes to Austin who manages to get close to the top of the tree but loses grip and tumbles to the ground.

Austin [Thoughts]- Almost there! Hu? Dam it! Why can't I get up there.

Austin throws his army knife that slams into the spot he fell. As Fiona past him as he fell and landed on his feet. Austin closes his eyes trying to force Aura out of his body as he looks drained.

Austin [Thoughts]- Great even Fiona has pass me. There have to be another way to get up there. Ah.

As Austin opens his eyes he's under water Infront a what looks like a Rome temple that blocked by silver bars. He began to panic and hold his breath.

Austin [Thoughts]- What where the hell! How did I get under water?

When he finally takes a breath he can breathe that surprised him. That when Black eyes formed behind the bars and got Austin attention.

Austin [Thoughts]- Hu!? I can breathe here?

Kraken [Thoughts]- Yes you can because I allow it. Also I can lend you my strength human. All that I ask is control over your body.

Austin [Thoughts]- UH!! So your the Monster that's inside my coin.

Kraken [Thoughts]- Yes I am the Kraken. Now give me control! I will not spend another minute in this a cursive prison!

Austin [Thoughts]- Wo! Like hell I'll let you. AH!!

That when black Aura tentacles formed inside the prison and leaped out at Austin. He quickly enhance his speed and used telekinesis to blast him away from them but more came out of the prison and manage to crip Austin and began crushing him. As he screams in pain the screen changes back outside the coin. Where everyone look at Austin screaming. Tanis the first to respond sensing the Aura from Austin. And his eyes turn pure black.

Austin- AHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Tanis- Ah! That Aura. This isn't good.

Zane- Austin!!

Tanis- I got it!

Tanis quickly get up and reaches out to Austin and a Magic Circle appears around Austin. And golden chains manages to hold Austin in place.

Tanis- Zane. Now!

Zane- Got it!

Zane drops down from the tree and lands beside Austin. He pulls out a coin with an all seeing eye seal on it. Zane place the seal on Austin power band. This coused his Aura tom disappeared that surprised everyone.

Gunter- Wo! I guess those seals does work after all.

Fiona- Ya. Thank god they do.

The screen changes to Sibella handing out paper seals to the Rangers as they get ready to leave.

Fiona- So these will stop the Monsters inside our coins from controlling us right.

Sibella- Indeed. But only if it's in the early stages.

Gunter- And how can we tell if it's in the early stages?

Sibella- Hm. Well your appearance will change to what Monster is trapped inside your coins. For example Zane skin would began to change into scales of a dragon and is quite painful. Also it would take a powerful seal to free you.

Austin- Well that's uncomfortable to know.

Sibella- It the price to pay for taking power that is not your own. However where explain more of this during your next session. Until then you have a good night.

As Sibella walks past Zane. She smiles and look at him.

Sibella- Especially you Zane.

Zane- Uh um!? You to Sibella.

Zane blushes. The other Rangers began to laugh.

Zane- Alright that's enough Rangers. We have a lot of training in the morning. You hear me Rangers.

Rangers- Sir yes sir. Ha Ha Ha Ha.

The screen changes back Zane grabs Austin shoulder and manages to hold him up.

Zane- Wo easy there Austin.

Austin- Uh. What the hell happened?

Tanis pulls out a medica syringe from her belt that glow a light blue. Tanis grabs Austin hand.

Tanis- You drained your self of your Aura. Allowing the Monster inside your coin to almost gaining control over your body. Here this should help you.

Austin see's the needle and yanks his hand away from Tanis.

Austin- Hold on what's that stuff?

Tanis- It's an ectoplasm shot. It will help you regain most of your Aura and strength.

Austin- Why haven't you told us about this sooner.

Zane- They told me Ranger. Now give your hand to Tanis. You can't even stand.

Zane gives Austin hand to Tanis who injects him with the shot. In a few seconds he able to stand without any problem.

Austin- Wo. I feel better.

Nova- Ya. Do you have anymore of that stuff Tanis.

Tanis- I do. But since there so expensive I can only carry a few around.

Fiona- Is it possible for us to buy them.

Tanis- Hm. Maybe you'll have to ask Walter. Because there not easy to get ahold of for humans.

Austin- Might I ask what's in this stuff? Because it feels a bit strange.

Tanis- Um. Well a plant that makes it. There also other types of it that heal much better. But there more expensive due to how there um made.

Tanis gives a nerves smile at the last comment. The Rangers looked concerned about that last comment.

Zane- Alright then. Take hour to relax then where back to climbing tree's Rangers.

Rangers- Sir yes sir.

Zane leans Austin against a tree and sits next to him.

Zane- Alright Austin what's up.

Austin- What do you mean Zane. I'm fine.

Zane- Really. Because by looking at you a while ago. You've lost control. So what's up.

Austin- Uh. It's all of this. I don't even know what or why where doing this.

Zane- Where training to stop Broot and the Witch from killing others.

Austin- And you really think we can do that. At this rate where just going to get ourselves killed by Broot or the witch. This coins are to dangerous and will end up killing us as well.

Zane- Yet we must try. Otherwise everything and everyone we care for will die by there hands.

Austin- I know that. But I just don't think we'll win this Zane.

Zane- Well we'll never know unless we try ranger. So enjoy your brake. And see you in an hour.

As Zane gets up and walks away Austin was lost in thought looking up at the tree and where he fell from. While Tanis skipped over to Austin.

Austin [Thoughts]- Ah! This is just pissing me off. No matter how hard I train. I'm the weakest. At this rate I'll end up getting myself killed.

Austin slams his hand in the tree leaving a small mark.

Austin [Thoughts]- Dam it. Of all people why was I chosen by this coin. Hu!?

Austin snaps out of his thoughts as Tanis shadow goes over him.

Tanis smiles at Austin who gives a smile back.

Austin- Ha. Thanks Tanis.

As Tanis got up and walked away leaving Austin leaning against the tree.

Austin [Thoughts]- Uh. What am I going to do? Even if what Tanis said is true at this rate I'm going to get myself killed.

Kraken [Thoughts]- Then why don't you ask for my assistance then. Ha ha ha.

Austin [Thoughts]- Screw off Monster.

Kraken [Thoughts]- Come now Human. You felt the power I can give you. It's more then enough to keep you alive while fighting against Broot and his master.

Austin [Thoughts]- You must think I'm stupid. Because that's never going to happen.

Kraken [Thoughts]- Ha. In time it will. But until then latter human.

Austin [Thoughts]- Hold it. Why did you pick me to use your powers.

Kraken [Thoughts]- Ha. Because I thought you would be easy control. But know I see I'll need to work harder to do so. But until then latter.

Austin grips his hand into a fist and takes a deep breath and lean against a tree. As he grips his wrist band tight.

Austin [Thoughts]- Uh! Stupid Kraken. I never wanted these powers to begin with.

That when Austin jumps up after hearing Tanis scream.

Tanis- AHHHHH!! Help!

Austin- Tanis!

Austin gets up and runs to where Tanis scream along with the other Rangers. The screen changes to Tanis inside a Black Silver cage with spikes inches from her skin. She has light cuts on her body. Hold the cage is a eight foot thin armored knight.

[Athena The Tormenter Description- The Helmets Bar-But was Dark Silver Black. The open part of the helmet shows a big mouth full of sharp teeth. Her body armor thin and fits her body is Dark Silver. Holding a long sword that has curves blade with Dark Gold and a half Dark Blue and Dark Red Ruby. A cape is Black while a black blind fold cover her eyes].

Athena- Don't worry little girl. Soon you'll be just like me. A blind servant to my empress. Ha Ha Ha.

Athena began to move her sharp finger towards Tanis eyes. Tanis moves back but this has the cage spikes lightly cutting her. She was inches from Tanis eyes until three pistol shots hits her. One in the head and the two in her chest. But they don't do any damage to her. She calmly grabs her sword that she left in the ground as Austin show up with the other Ranger not far behind.

Austin- Let her go! You old hag!

Athena- Ha. No human. Soon you all shall serve my Empress. Weather you want to or not. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Zane [Thoughts]- Great another one of Broots Monsters.

Nova- Tanis are you alright!

Tanis- AH! Ya. A bit cut up but fine.

Tanis grabs her wounds in pain.

Nova- You'll pay for that thin tin.

Gunter- Ya. No one hurts our friends.

Zane- Focus Rangers. And suit up.

Rangers [All But Zane]- Sir yes sir.

Rangers- Where Freedom Fighter Rangers and Where never afraid of Danger!

Zane- Alright let cut this long legs down to size!

Gunter- Right behind ya sir!

Athena place Tanis cage on a branch. As she spoke.

Athena- The names Athena Human Filth. And Tanis is not your friend she only see you as a tool to forward the Monster Realm Goals. Nothing more.

Tanis speaks out against Athena comments but she responds by lightning moving her fingers using telekinesis to slam one of the spikes into Tanis shoulder.

Tanis- Uh. Lies! There my friends I would never do that. AHHHHHHH!!

Fiona- Tanis!!

Austin- You ungrateful witch!

Zane- Austin wait!

Austin- Kraken Hurricane Strike!

Austin double blade burns Dark Blue that look like ocean waves. He moves as a blur however Athena blocks each strike and push Austin back but before she's given a chance to strike him Zane Gunter and Nova leap in attack her. Forcing her to defend against there strikes. Athena moves with control and focus batting away each strike from the Rangers. But before Austin could rejoin Fiona grabs him by the shoulder.

Austin- Hu!?

Fiona- Austin I need your help.

Austin- With what?

Fiona- Hush!

She points to Tanis then place a finger Infront of her mouth. Austin shakes his head yes as they head towards Tanis the screen goes back to the other Ranger putting pressure on Athena. But she manages to push back the Rangers with a fire and Ice Repulse launching Zane and Nova into a tree while Gunter hits the ground and rolls back on her feet.

Athena- Flaming Ice Repulse! Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Gunter- Ungrateful Slim Head! Huntsmen Wind Slam!

Gunter leaps at Athena who blocks his strike but the wind unleased from the strike light cuts up Athena Armor. But as she blocks the other rangers manage to recover and began to attack her. The screen changes over to Austin and Fiona at the tree where Athena left Tanis in her cage.

Fiona- Hang on Tanis where here to save you.

Tanis- Be careful. This cage has spikes that's are inches from my skin.

Austin- Great. We need to be careful bring her down. Otherwise she might get badly hurt.

Fiona- I have an idea. I'll run up the tree and cut her free while you use telekinesis to hold it up.

Austin- No. You know I'm not good with telekinesis. I'll cut the tree you keep her from falling.

Fiona- But you can hardly clime while training. What if.

Austin- No. We don't have time to debate this. Just get ready to catch the cage.

Austin pulls out his sword and activates it.

Fiona- Fine then. Just make it quick.

Austin takes a deep breath and grips his sword tight.

Austin- Don't worry I will.

Austin ran up the tree his feet griped onto it. As he got closer to the branch he felt his grip slipping.

Austin [Thoughts]- Dam it. Why me. There has to be a way to hit the branch.

That when Austin had an idea after looking at his weapon.

Austin [Thoughts]- Ha. That will work.

Fiona [Thoughts]- No. He's not going to make it. HU!?

Austin fell a few feet from the tree but fully activated both his blade and griped the blade with his hand extending the reach and cutting the branch.

Austin [Thought]- Ha. I got it.

Fiona- Nice work Austin.

Tanis- Ha. Great job Austin.

Fiona grips Tanis cage. As Austin lands on the ground he puts away his sword and helps Fiona lower the cage on the ground. As the screen changes back to Athena and the other Rangers. Athena tossing around the Rangers and notice Austin and Fiona helping Tanis out of the cage.

Fiona- Easy there Tanis your almost out.

Athena- GRR! Ungrateful humans. Die Desert Elf!

Screen changes back to Tanis almost out of the cage as the spikes launches into Tanis right hand and leg causing her to blood and scream in pain.

Austin and Tanis- Tanis!

Tanis- AHHHHH!

Tanis began to breath fast and falls to the ground out side the cage. Fiona runs over and unhooks the medic kit on her belt. She also pulls an ectoplasm shot out of Tanis belt and place it beside her kit. Fiona seal the wound as Austin look at Tanis and looked worried. Before facing Athena who's continue to fight against the Rangers striking Gunter should but forced to block Zane strike. Austin enraged leaps in slamming into Athena that forces her back into defending. HE strikes are blur his eyes are pure black like an the Kraken.

Austin- Title Wave Barrage!

Athena- What a matter Blue Ranger. Did I hit a nerve attacking that little monster girl. How pathetic. HU!?

Zane- Ow that's not good.

Nova- Austin don't lose control again! Austin!

Gunter- Ow great.

That when Dark Blue Aura began to burn through out Austin body. As his speed increased and Austin strikes Athena across her chest leaving a cut across her armor. This strike slides her back as Austin leaped again at her she respond with a telekinesis blast slamming him into a tree. The other Rangers attack Athena again. Striking her across her armor this time drawing blood but Athena manages to dodge to keep the wounds from becoming life threatening.

Athena [Thoughts]- Grr. Ungrateful Rangers I can't beat them like this. I'll need to separate them in order to kill them.

Austin gets back on his feet and charges in rejoining them but as he got close with the other Rangers Athena does a repulse that rips apart there armor as she teleported away. As black fog consume her Austin try's to stop her.

Austin- Die She Demon!

Athena- HA HA HA HA! Not today Blue Boy. Freezing Flame Repulse!

Rangers- AHHHHH!!

Athena- Ha Ha Ha. You wont escape this forest alive Rangers. So prepare yourself for a slow death.

Austin- GRR! I wont let that happen!

As Austin blade strikes Athena her body fades into black mist. The blade hits the ground as water erupts from the ground. And shakes the ground causing the other Rangers to fall over.

Zane [Thoughts]- Dam it Austin. I warned you.

Zane regains his footing and leaps at Austin pulling out a small paper with a seal on it and place it on his head. That returns Austin to normal. Zane grip Austin as he collapse his armor disappears. Zane and Gunter Armor also disappeared.

Zane- Wo. Easy Austin.

Austin- Sorry Zane. I just lost control after seeing what that Monster did to Tanis.

Gunter runs over beside Zane to help carry Austin.

Gunter- Nice work brain boy. But you could have not gone all tentacle on us.

Zane glairs at Gunter.

Gunter- What?

Zane- Gunter shut it and help me get him to Fiona.

Gunter- Uh fine. Let's move then.

The screen changes over to Fiona and Nova who managed to stop the bleeding but the blade was still stuck in Tanis who was on her side. Tanis still looked in pain. While Nova was using her wrist band trying to communicate with Walter. She was back in her normal clothes.

Nova- Walter come in this is Nova. Tanis is injured and we need to be teleported out now! . . . Walter! Hu! Dam it.

Zane- What's wrong Nova?

Nova- Are communicaters being blocked.

That when Athena voice appears on the communicator.

Athena- That's right soon you all shall die together and be reborn to serve my Empress. There's no escape from me. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.

Nova- I'll so you there's no escape once I get my hands around your neck. You thin stick.

Zane- Nova calm yourself. And Fiona how's Tanis doing.

As Zane and Gunter lay Austin against a tree near Fiona.

Fiona- I manage to stop the bleeding but if I remove the spikes she'll bleed to death. And it to risky to move here.

Tanis- No. Remove the spikes. The shot will heal me.

Fiona- Tanis that doesn't make sense? It would have to heal your wound near instantly.

Tanis- It will please. Do it.

Zane- Do it Fiona.

Fiona look at Zane surprised.

Fiona- But what if she dies from blood loss.

Zane- I'll take the responsibility if she dies. We can't afford carrying her while being attack by Athena.

Austin- Wait sir you can't risk her life like this.

Zane- We don't have a choice Austin. If we carrier her like this she'll die quick from blood loss. Unless you have a better plan.

Austin- Uh. . Hu?

Austin looked defeated at Zane words and said nothing. Until Tanis spoke with a smile.

Tanis- Don't worry Austin I'll be fine. I'm sure of it.

Austin- Uh. Sure go ahead Fiona.

Fiona looked worried as she yanks the spike out off Tanis shoulder and leg then injects her with the ectoplasm shot. And her wounds began to heal fast.

Tanis- Ah.

Fiona- Impossible!?

As Tanis try's to get up she lose her footing and Fiona grabs her.

Fiona- Wo. Easy Tanis.

Tanis- It's ok Fiona I'm alright.

Austin- Ow. Thank god.

Gunter- Ha wow. That stuff Works good. We need to get more of that stuff.

Zane- Tanis do you have anymore of those shots.

Tanis- I'm Sorry Mister Zane I only brought two of them. I didn't think we would be attacked out here.

Zane- It's alright Tanis. Fiona help Austin. And we need to get ready to move out. Before that monster attacks us again.

Nova- So what's the plan.

Zane- Get back to the Military school. And figure out what's going on. In the mean time Nova and Gunter keep an eye for anything while I help Fiona with Austin.

Nova and Gunter- Sir yes sir.

As they left Tanis and Fiona are healing Austin wounds using there Aura.

Tanis- That's it focus your Aura on the wound.

Austin- Thanks Fiona and Tanis.

Tanis- Your welcome Mister Austin.

As Austin wounds burn away Zane smiles but looks around feeling like there being watched and looks around and see's nothing.

Zane [Thoughts]- Ha. At least there spirits are high. Hu!? What was that?

Austin- Hey commander where ready to head out.

Fiona- Ya all patched up and ready sir.

Tanis- Uh!? Is there something wrong?

Zane- No. Let's get moving. I feel like we have a long day ahead of us.

Austin, Fiona, and Tanis- Sir yes sir.

Austin and Fiona look surprised at Tanis who looks confused then upset.

Tanis- Hu? Ow did I do something wrong.

Zane- Ha Ha Ha. No your good Tanis. Now let's get moving before Athena finds us.

As they head out the screen pulls out showing Miss Grim office where her and Walter are sitting at her desk watching the Rangers.

Miss Grim- Hm. Impressive. I thought your students would need help from my other girls.

Walter- They would have if Tanis didn't bring those ectoplasm shots with her.

Miss Grim- Indeed. But since there out I wonder how well there do alone.

Walter- I believe there be more then capable against your little pet.

Miss Grim- Ha. We shall see about that dear.

As they go back to watching the crystal ball the screen fades to black.
