September 2nd, 2017: Ravenclaw Common Room
"First day, how are you feeling?" Victoire asked, walking down to the fireplace.
"Good, but I don't know where the defense against the dark arts is?" Harper says confused. Looking at her map.
"I will show you, it's next to muggle studies," Victoire says, using her wand to extinguish the fire.
Defense Against The Dark Arts
As Harper, Victoire, and Freddie walk down the corridor to their classes. They spot Albus, walking with someone but not talking. He still looked sad.
Freddie walked over and asked. "Albus, are you ok?" In the hope of an answer.
"Fine," Albus said sharply before entering the classroom.
"In this class, you will study and learn how to defend yourself. Against all aspects of the Dark Arts, including dark creatures. Curses, hexes, and jinxes. Oh, and dueling." Professor Night said.
"Now if you look at the syllabus you will see we have a test, next class, about the unforgivable curses. We have a lot to go through in a short amount of time.” Professor Night said walking around the classroom. "Does anyone know these curses"
A few students raised their hands but as the professor looked around he saw Freddie with her dark red hair. Freddie was doodling; she had learned all this before. A lot of the bedtime stories were also lessons on the dark arts.
"How about you Miss?" He said pointing to Freddie.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.
"Freddie Weasley. The unforgivable curses are, the Killing curse, Cruciatus Curse, and Imperius Curse"
"Good, 10 points to Gryffindor," Professor Night said. The class fell silent.
"Excuse me, professor?" Freddie said, getting out of her chair.
"Yes, Miss Weasley?"
"Do you think I am in Gryffindor?" Freddie asked.
"Well, yes you are a Weasley, all Weasleys get into Gryffindor" Professor Night joked but no one laughed.
"Did you call on me because I am a Weasley?" Freddie asked, walking closer to the teacher.
"Well, your hair caught my eye, bright red Weasley," Professor said flustered.
"Not every Weasley is a Gryffindor. I am a Ravenclaw and for future reference don't call on me just because I am a Weasley. Heroes may have raised us, but we don't know everything," Freddie said calmly.
"Oh," The whole class mumbled.
"That is enough class" Professor Night stated before turning back to the lesson.
“Class is over but Ms. Weasley, will you please stay for a few minutes?” Professor Night said before opening the door. “And don’t forget your homework” Calling after the kids.
“Ms. Weasley,” Night said, walking to the front of the room.
“Yes, Professor,” Freddie said, trying not to burst into tears.
“You know why I asked you to stay right?” He asked starting to erase the board.
“I taught you a lesson,” Freddie said in defense.
“I do not like being scolded in my classroom,” Night said, turning towards Freddie.
“Well, you should have known that you were teaching Ravenclaws and Slytherins. Not Gryffindors.” Freddie responded.
“Oh, are you trying to be smart with me?” Night said, walking towards Freddie. “Oh if he could see you know he would be so disappointed.
Freddie paused for a moment when the door opened. “So sorry Professor Night. Professor Longbottom asked me to come and collect Ms. Weasley. He would like to see her in class.” Albus said.
“Of course just tell him to meet me here after school”. Professor Night said, completely changing his demeanor.
“Thank you, I didn’t know how I was going to get out of there,” Freddie said, finally catching her breath.
“It's okay, I waited outside the door until I heard him raise his voice. I knew you had to get out of there” Albus said, fumbling with his robe.
“Wait you never left here,” Freddie said confused.
“Nope. All that Neville stuff was a lie but I am sure it’s fine” Albus said looking at his cousin.
“You're the best,” Freddie said before hugging Albus.
“I think we should talk,” Albus said after the embrace.
