ATTACK DEFEND PROTECT
After understanding the function of the COMMAND OPTION on his FAMILIAR, Rudy choose the DEFEND mode are the most likeable option for him,
while ATTACK mode will made his familiar attacking anything they think would threat their master ignoring their own safety, and PROTECT mode will made them cling to him and made his STEALTH skill useless, DEFEND mode are their usual self, it made them observe their surrounding from enemy, defend themselves by hiding or counterattack against enemy, and also they will keep the distance between the predator and them.
Rudy try to spread them around him to made It work similar to the DANGER SENSE skill, he spread them away from him to measure the limit effectivity of his DANGER SENSE skill, but Rudy found out that sometimes the slimes didn't react to some monster that actually not dangerous to them but it is dangerous to him. Rudy try to experiment with his DANGER SENSE Skill more to find out his skill limit and ability. After much trial and error Rudy finally understand that the danger that he feel from predator around him are differ between him and the slime, once time he try to ignore his skill and keep going to that direction, his skill keep warning him of the danger but he ignore it, keep going at that direction finally he found out the source of the warning is a Lizard, a big Lizard that he saw last night are currently crawling ahead of him. Looking at the lizard made him suddenly shuddering and his blood suddenly feel cold, all over his body suddenly feel cold because right after he saw the lizard, that lizard also immediately look at him, with it's forked tongue the lizard try to feel it's surrounding for heat source.
Rudy didn't dare to make a move, he instinctively stop all movement even his breath are currently on hold, his body temperature slowly decrease in effect of his STEALTH skill, and the Lizard slowly lose it's source of heat and attention. After awhile the Lizard finally look away from his direction and start to walk away. Finally Rudy able to let go of his breath and start to exhale and inhale his breath. After stabilizing his condition for awhile finally Rudy got his lesson, that his DANGER SENSE skill are what has been saving him all this time. While his STEALTH skill are what adjusting his condition for optimal hiding, his DANGER SENSE are what warning him of the danger around him that didn't affected by his STEALTH skill, the warning intensity will keep increasing if he got nearer to the source of danger. Like in the slime case, the intensity of DANGER SENSE will suddenly sky rocketing when the beast in target realize his presence.
That time right before he saw the Lizard clearly, he already can see the silhouette of the Lizard behind the grass, but Rudy keep going forward because it didn't yet register in his mind that there is a big lizard in front of him, he saw that something is there and the DANGER SENSE skill warning still slowly increase in intensity, the Slime 1 then said that there is a Lizard there but again he made another mistake by ignoring the warning of his skill and blindly going forward, because at first Rudy think the lizard are a small kind of lizard because the slime still in front of him and still fine by it self. When the slime get out of the grass it nonchalantly slightly turn to right, and made Rudy late in responding against the Lizard. And surprised that the DANGER SENSE suddenly rise in intensity and made him stoned in place.

After that experience Rudy realize the combination of his STEALTH and DANGER SENSE skill has made synergy with each other and help him to hide from many beast, his STEALTH skill hide him by slowing his movement and unconsciously slow his breath and lowering his body temperature slightly, and the DANGER SENSE skill will identify and warn him of the beast that able to see through his hiding skill. In recent case his STEALTH skill also made his body temperature goes even lower in attempt to hide from the lizard after the DANGER SENSE skill identify the threat .
Exhausted from the experience Rudy decide to stop his adventure, looking at the sky it look like it's almost evening. Rudy decide to going back to walk beside the river and then try to find a suitable tree to climb. Rudy finally found the perfect tree to climb when the sun almost set. Climbing on the tree Rudy finally sigh of relief, he pluck the fruit that look like his previous found fruit, and satisfy his hunger, Rudy tell the slime to also climb the tree but the slime reject it because they are not fond of high ground. After more discussion between the Slimes and Rudy, it has been decide that for the slime to stay on the ground and keep watch for any beast while Rudy will sleep and take a rest.
At first, the slime keep telling him of any bug near them, So Rudy tell them again to warn if any beast that could harm him appear, but the slime again tell him of any bug and small creature around him. It start to annoy Rudy how the slime keep telling him of that small creature around him, maybe they think Rudy are so fragile that even a bug can kill him. But thinking again it could be true. There is a possibility that even a small bug are have venom on them and it could kill him.
At first Rudy want to tell them to just tell him if any big creature come on him in 2 to 4 meter from him, but after rethinking on that, the slime maybe not understand of how far the two meter is, and also there is possibility that even a bug can kill him here. So Rudy change his order into find and kill any small creature around him, and again Rudy rethink that order will be too much excessive, Rudy didn't plan to build his base here, so to kill everything here will be too cruel to do. Rudy finally decide on what order he need to give the the slime to do.
"Find any creature around me, drive them away if possible, kill it if they resist too much, and tell me if you found anything you can't handle on your own" Rudy finally give his order and prepare him self to rest.
"Roger that" Slime1 reply to him.
it amuse Rudy how rich the slime vocabulary are. Rudy had asked them how could they speak so well and how old they actually are. Slime1 reply that it saw a moon change shape from full round and back into full round again, Slime2 reply that he saw the moon fifteen times, and the last Slime3 saw the moon seven times. Rudy conclude maybe that mean that Slime1 are a month old, Slime2 are half a month old, and Slime3 are a week old.
After further inquiry, Rudy found out that they are used to communicate with each other all this time, Slime2 are particularly the one that talkative while Slime1 are smarter and more reliable, and Slime3 are the youngest that always follow the older instruction.
Rudy decide to only use TRANSLATE skill on Slime1 because it overwhelm him when they talk at the same times.
At first Rudy think his TRANSLATE skill will automatically translate on any sound that he hear, but that is wrong. The skill will react on any sound that look like a conversation, it register the unknown creature on his BOOK skill and Rudy could choose to either use the skill or not. on them. Since knowing that Rudy decide to always hold his Book when he travel the forest. But right now Rudy has unsummon the book because he want to take a rest.
Looking for the last time on the Slimes that busy going this way and that way, trying to hunt any creature around him. Rudy decide to shut his eye comfortably. Rudy finally able to comfortably take a rest, because now he have a trust worthy companion to take care of him when he sleep..
