Former Slave Now in Heaven
Chapter 2: Velvin’s Clip

Chapter 2: Velvin’s Clip

The slaves are now inside Velvin's Clip.

[Look, There you are Velvin!]

She said as she saw a young lanky man get out of a horse drawn-carriage. Velvin looked frail, meek and listless. He had brown skin, but had the shade of white for his hair.

He looked quite handsome for a slave. As images alone weren't enough to understand a clip. Clips present the scenarios more like a scene to the viewer, rather then a video clip.

The clips presented themselves as if you were in there yourself. Clips, in default, peers into the thoughts of people in the surrounding scene.

Leo, Then wondered as he noticed they could hear all the thoughts of the people nearby.

[Wait, Dayve, You forgot to turn off a setting]

Leo said whilst using his index finger to point to his head. Wondering if maybe Dayve or Rose made a mistake.

[Leo, you don't want to hear their thoughts?]

Rose asked, as she was the one left it on. She thought it would be good to include thoughts. She believes it might be more entertaining, then plain image and sound alone.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

Then unexpectedly Velvin Spoke

[Thoughts? We are capable of hearing this men's unspoken thoughts?]

[May you companions leave it as is]

[......]

[.......]

The two were silent. They thought, that Velvin way of speaking was too stiff.

[Then it's settled! lets hear all their thoughts!]

But as always, Dayve didn't care much. Other angels, can interject and comment too in the clip. However for them watching the four talk and converse with each other is enjoyable enough for the former slaves.

A pot-bellied man was next to the carriage. pocketing the silver and bronze he got as payment for the slaves. He was smiling gleefully, he has the quintessential look of greediness.

[Look, he is smiling from ear to ear]

Leo said in disgust, he hates slave traders the most.

[Velvin, what do you think of him?]

Rose asked inquisitive.

As Velvin looked closer at the slave trader's face. He thought that, his smile was a bit worn out. He wondered on how this man ever got the idea of doing slave trading.

Slave trader then had a thought --

' Let's not think of them as humans. Or else my conscience might hurt.... '

' This money will help me, unlike these fools, they are objects right? '

The slave trader then remembered something

' But why does it pain me so much '

There was an incident that almost made him stop slave trading.

' The kid i sold was dead, rotting. I saw this when i went back to sell on that land. '

' Every time I sell kids, i still remember the carcass of that object .'

' But why do my chest hurt, and feel pain inside. I am human right. and they are objects .'

' For now lets smile, smiling helps me forget this . '
