That was when I heard it. The soft phsssshhh of the golden locket my parents had hung around my neck ever since I had become a curious little girl. I slowly wrapped my chubby fingers around the locket and embraced the warmth of the locket. My hair flew back and my chest burst out, and I muttered a few inaudible words and I thought, I have mastered this skill! and then I flopped back down onto the ground. Ugh. Nevermind. I need a bit more practice until I can fully master this spell. The locket lid slowly lifted open. I stored the most important (small) things in there like the picture of me and my sister before she passed away and the tiny love heart gem my mum gave me.
