The realization had finally set in that Kalida was falling at an alarming rate, all that surrounded him for miles was a thick red forest, and the sanguine leaves glistened in the sunlight as the gentle breeze whisked past them. But for Kalida the Breeze was nothing but gentle."Dammit, Dammit all! I knew this trial wouldn't be easy when I first decided to enter this hell but to start falling to my death immediately seems just unfair…
As Kalida finished ranting his feelings to the world, the realization set in that he would be plummeting directly into a behemoth red evergreen. In contrast to its surroundings, this giant tree stuck out like a sore thumb its sanguine leaves appearing to almost be on fire with how bright they shone.
Though the beauty of this tree was truly mesmerizing this was the last thing Kali could focus on as he had finally made an impact with the first branch a loud crack was all that could be heard.
"My arm... it got-
Before the words could even fully form Kali had lost consciousness the overwhelming pain of losing one of his arms had sent him catatonic.

A thud. That was all that could be felt by the young man as his body collided with a rigid branch from the Crimson tree, his back spasmed as he felt his very spine shiver. And yet his consciousness still refused to waver, Kalida had done it. He had successfully made it down from that nightmare-inducing height and yet…
The man's body was utterly destroyed. Several bones were either broken or too fractured to even move, what wasn't fractured was completely bruised beyond belief. The young man had not yet regained consciousness but if he had, he would realize he was pooling in his own blood. The unsightly visage of the young boy would be enough to make anyone break down.

"Dammit. How does Khyle always manage to get the coordinates wrong?"
A young woman with long hazel hair said in a slightly annoyed voice. The air around her seemed to tingle as if vibrating by her very presence and in an instant she vanished leaving the tree branch she was just on completely vacant.
Jumping from branch to branch the tan-skinned young woman moved like a blur, every time she landed on a new tree she would already be on the move again in half a second it appeared as though the very air warped around her as she moved.
"Come on can the target be easy to find at least once?"
She grumbled out in an annoyed tone but before the young woman could complain more a strange buzzing could be heard coming from her pocket.
"Play Recording."

She said. And then a semi-translucent screen appeared in front of her with the name Khyle Andert.
"Yo Cass, I may have led you a bit off track there. My bad. But the good news is our new friend landed just within the Great Grove's confines only about half a mile from your current location, I'll send the cords to your telecommunicator in a sec. should be easy enough for you right?"
The young man said with a slightly nervous tone.
Within a couple of seconds, a map of a giant forest appeared in front of Cassidy's face with a pinging red dot somewhere in the distance.
Cass simply responded with a slight "okay" and continued her herculean jumping in her direction.
With one Giant leap of the tallest branch from a crimson tree Cass was now staring at the cloudy skyline from far above all the trees, not wasting a moment the young woman soared towards the biggest of the crimson trees. It seemed as though she was able to almost step on the air itself and within a couple of seconds she arrived at her destination.

Kalida awoke in an unfamiliar place; his previous hazy state was keeping his eyes closed, and his head was resting gently on something soft, it felt pillow-like. In his disoriented state the young man attempted to adjust himself on his so-called "pillow" but as his body finally began to adjust a faint voice squealed just above his ear.
"Um, excuse me. Are you finally awake?!"
A female voice squeaked out.
Suddenly jolting awake, Kalida began looking around and realized what he truly had been resting on all this time, The lap of what could only be described as a beautiful young woman.
"I am so-"
But before he could even finish his sentence the young woman answered.
"There is nothing to be sorry about. You just caught me a bit off guard is all. I know you must be confused about how you got here right?"
The young man looked at the toned warrior body of the person in front of him. She was fit yet also muscular in a way her figure looked like that of a Greek goddess. Her hazel hair flowed to a long length almost to her lower back making her look surreal. She was dressed in standard hunter gear and yet she still appeared stunning.
Stuttering over his words Kalida Responded.
"Yeah- um, I am."
"Well before I even start I should properly introduce myself im, Cassidy. Cassidy Wilstrom but everyone around here just calls me Cass."
"Nice to meet you Cass the name is Kalida Ardens."
"Now that we got that out the way I should tell you what's going around these parts. So Khalida, what's the last thing you remember before getting knocked out?"
The young man ponders for a moment before answering.
"I was falling out of the sky and saw what looked like an endless orchard of red trees."
"Hm, I see. So Khyle was right."
The young man stared at Cass confused for a moment before she answered.
"Oh I'm sorry that was kinda vague, what I meant to ask was how are you feeling?"
The young man nodded slightly and said.
"last thing I remember I was horribly bruised and almost dead due to the horrendous fall I had."
Cassidy looked at the young man and seemed to remember something important at that moment.
"Oh yeah about that…"
But before the muscular woman could finish her sentence something akin to an earthquake shook the ground. Cause every crimson tree in the vicinity to shake violently as if they were about to be uprooted.
"What the hell!? I thought the beasts in this part of the grove were dormant this time of day!"
The huntress seemed to be distraught as though something mortifying was about to cross paths with them but still her cool composure remained.
"Hey Kalida, have you ever fought a Remnant Beast Before?"
The young man was about to answer before the huntress cut him off once more.
"Well ready or not a big one is on its way now!"
