Alto woke up on his bed at his apartment staring in a dazed at the ceiling.
"well that was a hard life"
he thought with some grievance. he wasn't really fit for a cultivation world without a system, panel, screen or a way to view one's stats and level.
for that world was already rough for him with out the convenient system, a world of cultivation was cutthroat and where lucky was massively amplified. and for his part Alto was massively unlucky.
for instance when he just got a stalk of immortal grass that will help him advance. but he didn't know that immortal grass was so old that after he got it to his home it disintegrated in his spacial bag...
he was very lucky to find such an old immortal grass. that if he consumed it he was likely to advance to a high immortal cultivator... should he consume it immediately.
but he didn't know, it was so rare that there was no record of such a thing. the common and uncommon preconception is that immortal grass are hard to find and must be consumed as a pill.
but that is just one of the many unfortunate ordeals that he went through. even if he studied, take precaution, or just throw all caution to win. nothing good ever happens.
so he just went through the times and thats how his last life ended...

he didn't know how his mother travel to so many lives and still have her mind to herself. but he now understood why his dad only got through three lives.
getting himself back together Alto stood up and fixed himself.
he needed to go and report at the Reincarnation Nation's Institution and have his identity reinstated. Alto hoped he didn't lost more than a year.
Thinking this way, he speed up.
going out of his apartment and opening the door, a demon with lava like skin. complete with horns, wings, and tail rushed pass by followed closely by a human with pale skin and white wings dragging a massive amount of luggage.
"Looks like Cain and Daniel is still together. probably less than a year then..."
"or more that ten years..."
Alto though as he recognized his neighbors.
with a sigh he hurried to the bus stop.
without waiting for even a second, a non descript bus appeared after he came to the stop sign.
once he got on, he paid the gnome bus driver his fee and went for a window seat.
the bus started and he looked out the window and looked at the billboards around the tall buildings lost in thought.
one billboard caught his attention. with an eldritch horror whipping his free flowing tentacles for hair in a majestic manner, then a brand of shampoo fazed in with the logo and name of Lore'el.
Alto stared in a daze. with all the context he have, he knew that it was probably more that ten years now.
with a heavy sigh he thought
"i guess a cultivation world really takes a toll on time."
"should probably ask mom for some help with the paperwork."
debating whether to call now of later, a ring sounded in his ears and he was at his stop.
leaving the bus and moving through the sidewalk, he came upon a white spire like building with massive amount of people going in and out of the three doors.
Alto sized up the RNI building and looked for a smaller congestion of people. and with a choice made he lifted his foot.
but before he took a step forward he got hit by a truck and died...
