Chapter 40 - El

After Fermon managed to rescue Kohn from all of those ‘nasty and ferocious’ beasts they were taken off to the side of the Park. A little dining area was setup with beautiful glass and crystal plates, cups and pitchers. A whole assortment of little cookie-cakes and triple-curved s’s covered a platter at the center of the round glass table.

“Come, come. Sit down all of you, I insist.”

Fermon might have been a chirpy little weirdo but he was a great host. Making sure everyone was seated before dishing out little dough squares that he pulled from thin air. The ornate pitcher that looked like half of a close-up picture of a sun was used to pour a light orange drink into each person’s cup. The pitcher was cool to the touch, but as soon as the liquid was poured out of what Kohn assumed was a solar flare, it became hot to the touch.

“Oh my god!” Sasha squealed at everything. “It’s all so adorable! Kohn, look at these cups. And these little snacks-ooh! You have to try this drink!”

Upon a closer inspection of the cups, Kohn saw that what he thought was a solid crystal cup turned out to be a series of intertwined animals. If even one was missing then the cup couldn’t hold its proper shape and would collapse. At that point you shouldn’t even think about filling it with a drink.

“This… is very beautiful.” He replied, a little taken aback.

“Thank you.” Fermon flashed him a flirty smile. “I made them myself.”

Not to be forgotten, Beyyele chimed in. “Not only is Fermon the best tamer in the capital, but he works with an assortment of materials and makes the finest eat-ware in the entire kingdom. What he makes are incredibly desired by every noble and lord, but he refuses to part with them.”

“They are my creations your highness. Whether I give them out to anyone is entirely up to me.”

“I just wish you’d give me one…”

“Ever since you first came here with your mother all those years ago, you’ve pestered me for a set.”

“But you’re so talented when you’re a male. Look at these!” She held up her plate which was made from a series of elongated s’s and linked together. It wasn’t quite a bowl since it was fairly flat, but it wasn’t quite a plate saucer since it also curved near the edges.

“I thank you for the compliment Beyyele, but you should know by now that we change who we are based upon how we feel. And who we love.”

The sideways glance and flirtatious wink sent Kohn’s way made him freeze for a moment with a mini cookie-cake held in front of his open mouth. Seeing Kohn stuck, Fermon helped him out by pushing on his hand. When it passed Kohn’s open lips, he then helped Kohn close his mouth with a single finger on his chin.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

Trying to think of what to say, Kohn watched Fermon change before his very eyes.

Fermon’s small stature suddenly grew. Whereas before he had to stand on the chair, bent over the table, now he was kneeling on the chair with an elbow propping him up to lean over the table. His short boyish hair grew at an alarming pace until it reached the back of his knees, curling the ends into attractive swirls. Fermon’s ears were already pointed, but now they stretched an extra couple of inches. His bent over posture made it easier to see the swelling of his rear-end and the inflation of his chest while his facial features became highly feminine complete with emerald green eyes that transfixed everyone that looked into them.

Fermon giggled in a female voice as Kohn reflexively swallowed the cookie-cake whole.

“Wow.”

Sasha said what the Earthlings were all thinking. Well, Kohn and the men were probably thinking that in a different tone.

“You’re beautiful-” Kohn started to say but Beyyele interrupted at the top of her lungs.

“NO! Why would you change into a woman now? Just when I gave you a compliment about your talented male persona you go and shift into your female one! Why?”

“I just felt like it was the perfect time.”

Beyyele shot Kohn yet another murderous glare. Clearly she blamed him for her friend’s apparent sex change. But before she could do anything to Kohn, the Armorer spoke up.

“So what name will you go by this time?”

“Oh, you! You’ve known my true name since long ago!” She sent him a flirtatious blushing look as well, which instantly transformed Beyyele’s murderous glare to Kohn into a more alarmed and defensive appearance in front of the new womanly Fermon.

“I know it.” Beyyele snapped her neck to him with a hurt expression. Like the Armorer just admitted to cheating on her. “But I can’t necessarily walk around calling you by it now can I?”

“True.” She moved to Kohn, getting so close that he bent over the back of the chair to get away. But she only followed him, barely an inch of space between the two as she spoke breathily directly into his mouth as their eyes locked together. “Hmm. Mmm! Call me, El.”

Kohn might have been a very handsome and attractive male back on Earth, but he actually didn’t have much experience interacting with the opposite sex. At least none that were so open with their desires as El was. He was flustered and tried to think of something to say, but he only stuttered adorably.

“I-I, uh, y-you! Wha-ha, um. Huh?”

Barely managing to break eye contact he looked up into the open mouth of a furry animal draped over the dining area’s fence.

“WHAT?!” He managed to yell out which drew everyone’s attention upward just as the massive Ermine closed its cute mouth over Kohn’s head, pulling him up out of the chair and out of El’s embrace.

They could see him struggling comically. His arms pushing against the beast’s lips as his legs tried to run away in mid-air.

The Armorer and the Earthlings stood up, preparing their weapons to fight to rescue Kohn. Beyyele calmly smiled and drank her ‘tea’ as she enjoyed the view of the annoying Earthling getting eaten by the beast. But everyone’s understanding of the situation were shattered as El stood up to the limbless Ermine, shaking her fist.

“Give him back! I called dibs first!”

The Ermine’s eyes shrunk at El before it shook its head in firm refusal.
