It's been 3 and a half month's since the book of shadows appeared and if I'm being honest I haven't used it once. I mean the sense and perception stat has come in handy but other that I've not used it. It might be the fact I'm a 11 month's old but if only I just had this power in my old life than maybe just may be I wouldn't of died. Sam sighed.
But I might give it a try after my birthday in secret of cause. I wonder if my mum and dad are planning a special birthday for me? Sam would indeed be correct since Caross and Claire were planning either go big or go home sort of birthday. But little did they know of the incoming disaster happening on Sam's birthday.
"Hey Caross got any ideas for what presents we should get Sam for his birthday?" Asked Claire
" I mean came of course " Said Caross sarcastically. "Are you thick for fuck sake of course we're getting a cake I'm pretty sure all birthdays have a cake." Said Claire with a hint of despair peeking out of her sorrowful green eyes.
To not make Claire angry or was Caross actually tried to think such would be the first time he would actually try in year's. He sat thinking away for the next 10 minutes until a quiet an interesting thought came to his but the next word's he was about to say would change this world for better and worse and better.
" I got it now hear me out how about we write certain things like learn swordsman, magic, emotion enhancing etc down on to a price of paper and we let Sam choose which one he wants to learn and then we hire a person to teach Sam the ways. " " For once I thought you'll was going to ha e a stupid idea as always but when it matters you actually say something normal such is probably reason I decided to marry " said Claire
Backstory on how Claire and Caross met: Claire and Caross was originally in a party called pentatriagon with obviously Caross, Claire and 4 other people. When they first met you could say it was love at first sight. "Claire Claire CLAIRE you their." Questioned Caross. " What happened and why are you above me" Said Claire.
" Well you looked you were staring off into space and then all of a sudden you just collapsed to the ground" Said Caross Anxiously.
Which puzzled Claire a lot since she never collapsed while thinking before but she asked Caross if he had thought of anything else and to her surprise he did have another suggestion.
"I think one we show him a few pages of the BOOK and second how about a teddy bear but not just any teddy bear a teddy bear with we made to show him our love and joy." Said Caross triumphantly.
"I'm surprised you actually have thought of something decent for once but if we're making Sam a custom teddy bear made by us snoring we asked Sam what he wants this teddy bear to look like" Said Claire.
"Let's ask him tomorrow and let's take the rest of the day of side you collapsed " Said Caross. Claire nodded and they took the rest of the day of.
Days to Sam birthday's 1 week 6 days to go. After a peaceful night Sam was awakened to his mum and dad asking him a question. " Sam" said Caross. Huh is someone saying my name Sam thought.
"Sam" Said Claire. This dream is quite realistic if I'm being honest. "SAM" Said Claire and Caross. Sam jumped out of his bed thinking that their was a problem but to his disappointment they instead asked him this.
"What's your favourite creature/animal sam" Said Claire. "Penguin" said Sam without hesitation. Which baffled his mum and dad quite a bit actually since they were expecting a lion or fairies but a penguin they had no idea what a penguin was. "What's a penguin sam" Said Caross.
Which left Sam in sad state and then found a nearby pencil and started to proceeded to draw and colour what a penguin 🐧 looks like have them the piece of paper and went back to sleep dreaming about penguins this time.
" Well at least he drew what the penguin looks like" Said Claire. So they started to make the penguin.
1 day before Sam's birthday party. Somewhere near the village a small demon brigade of 20 demons were marching towards the ulaz village at frightening pace. "When are we getting to this mana source you speak of" Said demon 1 "I smelled it coming from ulaz village" said demon 2. "The ulaz village you say so it isn't just me then hmm" said demon 1 "Should we prepare the other 18 demons to fight this scrumptious mana source?" Said demon 2 . "Yes tell them were invading the house of that mana source using teleportation circle tomorrow after midday" said demon 1. And so Demon 1 and 2 and the other demons were planing a gruesome battle for the mana source which would catch Sam and his family off guard.
