Yokou trained me everyday after school. What can i say about it?

It was just beating after beating.

Each day she was going harder on me than before.

And during school i was barely able to stay awake.

And before i knew it was already Friday

"Remember, Sueharu-kun.. Today you can't leave until you are able to catch me.

So if you really wanna go on your little date I highly recommend giving your all~"

"It's not a date !!!

"Tobichi-san, where are the wooden swords ?"

"Oh, yea, I forgot to mention." She summons two shorter blades. "We won't be using those today anymore.."

Wait, what ?? She can't be serious.

I start to panic a little.

"If you won't, I'm not letting you go on your little date."

"Ughh, fine, just shut up.."

I take a deep breath... Lift my right hand up

And summon the sword.

I place both of my hands on the hilt..

"I'm ready."

"Okay then."

She dashes towards me, leaving a huge cloud of dust behind her and attacking with one of her blades.

Oh god.. she is way quicker than before-

I'm just barely able to block it... But she continues to overwhelm me with a barrage of attacks from all directions.

The patterns of her attacks are completely different now that she’s using two weapons instead of one, like she did up until today.

Her attacks with one sword are very powerful, but slower.

These are way stronger and faster as well..

The strikes are powerful and fast and I can barely keep up with anything..

"Huuuh, not bad !" She says casually while she keeps attacking while the sound of the swords clashing against each other echoes through the room.

I quickly dash backwards to avoid taking more blows, although she quickly catches up, nearly slashing my face, but luckily, I'm able to dodge.

"Too slow." With her second blade she tries to strike me from below.

The blade then suddenly stops and so does Yokou.

She stares at me in utter shock.

"How..??"

Without even realizing, I caught her sword with my left hand.

"Tehe just kidding~" she says, preparing to stab me from behind as I wasn't paying attention.. but suddenly without even noticing I somehow dash right behind her, pointing my sword right to her neck.

I quickly gently place the blade on her shoulder.

"Boom.. you are dead." I say

My heart is beating like crazy.

"Heh, you got me there. Good job."

She turns around and makes her blades disappear.

She smiles.

Uhh.. my blade disappears and I fall on the ground.

"I guess one simple dash like that really took quite a bit of energy from you."

Says Sakura as she claps.

"Well, I mean he sure does want to go on that date if he was able to get Yokou in just a week, you know?" Says Tayou.

"Aaaa I have one hour left. I really need to go home and get ready."

I say

"Yea, just go already." Says Yokou.

"Thank you !"

I quickly get out of Yokous house and rush home.

"Hey, Yokou, you really needed him to leave, didn’t you?" Sakura asks.

"Yea..."

Yokou falls on her knee. "Tch.."

Sakura gets to her and places her hand on her shoulder.

"I felt it too. Just from the clashes alone."

"His blade was draining my power with every attack.. Just what the hell is this kid…"

"Come on, let's have a look at you. Kagami, can you please help me carry her to the bedroom?"

"Roger that."

| After about 15 minutes Ayato got home and he had about 40 minutes left before him and Akiri were going to meet

He was able to get ready in time and rushed to the train station where they decided to meet each other.

He put on a pair of pants and a gray hoodie since his fashion sense isn't the greatest.|

Come on, come on! I'm super late !!!

I get to the train station while barely being able to catch my breath.

Ahhh where is she.. ??? Did she leave because I was too late??

I’m starting to overthink and freak out. What if she actually left? Ughhh, noop. Please-

Suddenly someone covers my eyes.

"Guess who~"

I immediately blush.

"Ahhh, Akiri-san, please stop it.."

"Hehe, you are right! It's meeee!"

I turn around to look at her and my mind turns completely blank.

She looks amazing!

Akane was wearing a pair of flared high waisted pants which made her legs look really nice and created the illusion of longer legs. Apart from that, she was wearing a slightly oversized hoodie and she had her long, shiny brown hair down.. She didn’t try too hard for this outfit, although its simplicity made it nice. She really pulled it off.

"Ehh, don't stare at me like that, you perv."

"AH! NO NO NO, I'M SO SORRY, I DIDN’T MEAN TO." I panic and wave with my hands around like crazy.

She giggles. "Don't worry, I'm just messing with you, hehe. Let's go now, shall we ?."

"Yea.."

I'm gonna die today..

After we walked a little bit, she curiously asks.

"Hmmm, you seem rather close to those popular students from school.. Perhaps that blonde girl is your girlfriend?"

"HUUUUUUUUH ?????? NO, WHAT? NO."

she laughs. "Oh my, it's so fun to tease you. You get flustered so easily!"

S-shut up...

"But really now.. are you all close?"

She looks at me as she says..

"Well... I mean, we kinda are. They’ve been helping me a lot lately and all.

After you and I became friends they showed up as well, and I must say.. it sure does feel nice to finally have someone..." I say as I smile and look up.

I immediately blush after that.."shut it.. let's get going already."

We got to the mall and Akiri-san dragged me into a bunch of stores with cool stuff.

NO CLOTHES STORES SO I'M HAPPY ABOUT THAT.

We went to one store that had plushies and she seemed to love the place..

"AH, I NEED TO GET SO MANY!"

Pfff..

"Which one do you like the most ?"

"Hmmm..." She looks around. She checks every shelf in detail and she examines all the plushies. She’s like a little kid, so cute..

"Ohh, look at that one !" She pointed at a cute bunny plushie with excitement in her eyes.

"Okay.. I will buy it for you..."

"No way !!! Hehe look at you trying your best to impress me, so cute"

".. just shut your mouth.."

I take the plushie to the cash desk to buy it and then I proceed to give it to Akiri-san.

She seems so happy.

"Thank youuu, Ayato~"

Huh- she called me by my first name..

I get flustered and I cover my face with my hand since I can feel that I’m blushing again.

"Heh"

After that, we went to a cafe, got some dessert and then grabbed a few other things.

Honestly, the day went by really fast. Before we even realized, it was already getting dark.

We headed back to the station.

"Hey, Sueharu-kun.. today was really fun!" She says and smiles.

"Yea.. it was really."

"Let's go to the arcade next time !"

"Ohh, yea, that sounds great."

"Ahh, I have to leave now. After all, it's getting pretty late.. sorry."

"Oh, don't worry, don't worry. You need to get home safely."

I wave, leave the station and then immediately rush away to calm down..

Ahh, oh my god, that was so embarrassing... But I’m not going to lie… I liked it... Well, we are going to see each other again soon, soo..

I start walking towards the direction of my house, although shortly after I start walking, I get a strange feeling.. a certain presence... It felt familiar..

It was coming from the station!

I ran there as fast as I could..but what I saw straight up sent shivers down my spine...

The bunny plush was lying on the ground...
