*Meanwhile at the school*
"Here we go sir all the permission slips from our class"
Said Mila.
"Thank you very much—"
As Mr. Laveda was thanking Mila, his expression of calmness changed to one of worry and fear,
"Did someone go out during the rain?"
"No. . . Actually Ryu left right before it started."
Mila, responded as if she had just remembered.
Mr. Laveda gets up from his desk and puts on his black coat, as he begins to leave the room.
"Hurry we have to go find him."
He tells Milla.
As they're running down the corridors, Toshiko sees them and notices the two's worried expressions and begins to follow them asking,
"What's happening?"
*Back to the street*
Mr. Laveda, Mila and Toshiko arrive and see Ryu, completely soaked by the rain. They run towards him to check his condition, paying no heed to the woman beside him,
"What happened to you? Didn't I tell you not to leave until the rain passes?"
Said Mr. Laveda in a scolding tone.
Ryu scratches the back of his, lets out a small chuckle and begins to explain what happened and that he was fine.
"As long as you're alright it's okay. You can go home now, I'll take these two back with me."
Finished Mr. Laveda.
Ryu watches them leave and turns around,
"I never got you---"
He looks around for the woman but she was nowhere to be seen.
He begins to run towards the train station which was actually close to where he was, he didn't actually go very far during the rain. He gets to the now open station and reaches the platform just in time for the train, packed as usual meaning he had to stand, which was also strange because he didn't see anyone but that woman around the station. The train conductor announces its departure. The train begins to move and leave the station, as Ryu's looking out the window something catches his eye, it was the woman he met out on the station platform, she seemed to say something but he couldn't hear her, all he could see were her lips moving and the train zooms by.

After Ryu found a place to sit, he fell asleep.
He wakes up after a while and he notices the cart is quiet. He raises his head to check where he is, he discovers that the cart is empty, he gets up walks to the door leading to the other cart and it was empty as well. Ryu starts to panic, he sits down to collect his thoughts and as he's thinking, he begins to notice that the air before him is, vibrating in front of him, He reaches out to touch the sight before him and in a flash the light around him was swallowed up.
He opens his eyes and sees a dark desolate place with what seems to be pieces of land hanging in the air, a glowing white transparent floor which doesn't illuminate the space it occupies, the ground seemed to have the sky underneath it, but it also had destroyed frames of what looks to be structures as well as what seemed to be ocean waves. Ryu begins to walk looking for light, and wondering where he is.
After an immeasurable and uncertain amount of time he started to make out structures in the sky of darkness above and below the glowing floor. He began hearing indistinct noises as soon as he started to see the structures, as he moved closer, he seemed to move further away at the same time. He began to run towards the direction of the sound. Finally, able to see where the noise is coming from, he sees people and these aren't just any people but people he knows. He couldn't completely make out who was who because of the nature of the place he was in. Still Overjoyed by this discovery he tries to call out to the people below him, he begins to recognize the figures and he notices that it's his friends and family. He runs towards them and lets out a cry of relief,
"EVERYONE! Is everybody okay?"
"Ryu? Where did you come from?
Asks his father.
"I was on the train and I fell asleep and once I got up, I was here."
Answers Ryu.
"And yes, everyone here is okay. We all seemed to be brought here at once."
Added Toshiko's grandfather. Who was a surprisingly fit and energetic man, despite his old age.
Toshiko's grandfather began to do a role call and the people present were; Ryu, his father, his two siblings, Toshiko, his grandparents and Mila and her mother.
As Toshiko's grandfather was assigning roles to the families and what to do next, Ryu's father got up and added,
"For now, our immediate concern should be looking for food and wa—"
But before he could finish he starts choking and spitting out blood, he collapses and continues coughing out blood, Ryu rushes to him trying to help his father, He raises his head to ask for help and sees only his brother and sister and in that moment they were both split cleanly in half, His heart stopped and thoughts went in to a flurry, he began to grind his teeth and hold his throat about to scream but no sound came out of his mouth as he watches this scene unfold before him. In that moment a figure behind his brother and sister's standing corpses becomes clear, a figure he could make out more clearly than anyone he had seen since coming to this unfamiliar world... A tall dark skinned man in a black turtle neck, worn under a long white trench coat. He had slick, short, ash colored haired with shaven sides. Ryu locked eyes with the man and the man responded with a wide, menacing and domineering smile. In a matter of seconds, his head was filled with one thought, his entire body felt he should do...
"RuN"
He began to run, run, run, run and run until everything went back to the first landscape he had seen. black. darkness. empty. upside down.
He begins to hear a scream, the loudest sound he had heard in this place, struck by a feeling of paralysis he collapses. Still hearing the scream, he begins to ask himself,
"Where is that scream coming from? Oh, I just realized that's my voice isn't it?"
He lost consciousness after this realization.
