Maggot POV

 It was dark , very dark. But what is this feeling? It's squishy and slightly sticky.

'IT FEELS AMAZING!!!'

I could feel the amazing squishy feeling over my entire body. I wiggled and wiggled, and i'm pretty sure I wiggled one last time with delight. This was the best feeling I've ever felt before.

'.......wait a minute.'

I think this is the only feeling I can really recall now that I think about It. I looked around, it was still really dark but there was a hint of light coming from above, so I wiggled my way toward it. I found a hole in a round redish white thing with something red coming out of it.

GRGGGLE!

"I think you are right mister tummy that does look appetizing, but we must at least go outside before we eat."

I crawled through the opening and was blinded by light. After a few moments I could see that I was standing on something that obviously wasn't a part of the land that was around me. I looked under me and saw a giant pink thing, it had grey hair and a lot of its pink skin was wrinkly.

'Parent?'

For some reason that word came to mind, it did smell familar, so I guess it was my parent.

"Thank you for giving birth to me parent...SNIFF...SNIFF."

That smell, it was astounding, it made my mouth hole water out of control.

"Parent I'm so sorry but I'm hungry and you smell soooooooo good"

I took a bite out of the round white thing on my parent which I can only guess is the eye, that was when...

"IT TASTES SOOOO GOOOOOD!!!"

I don't know if if the world just loves me or what but this is just too amazing. I ate through the eye back to the place I originally was and then ate all the squishy stuff that was left. By the time I was done and was back outside my whole body was bloated to the point of almost bursting. I rolled myself down my parent onto the green landscape below and fell asleep. When I woke up it was once again comepletely dark I tried to wiggle but noticed I moved differently than I did before. Well now I"m confused. Stumped I just laid there. A few hours later I had an itch on my face so I started rubbing it on the ground, that's when something came off my head. I looked at it and it looked like the shape of my head, but too small. Now that I finally have sight again I started to notice a few other things.

"What the.."

What I saw now was that my body had changed, I now had two arms, two legs, feet, hands and the such. I looked more like 'parent' but I was still fairly different. I had grey skin with black fur, I only had three fingers and three toes. I felt my face and I could feel a nose like 'parent', two eyes too. For ears I had these drooping pointed ones on the side of my head that were fairly long. As far as I could tell well...

I looked down

"..man, so I'll be sure to make you proud."

And with that I was on my way. I moved through the green grass which I could now look over. It was dark and the sky was filled wth lights everywhere, it was beatiful and I am so thankful that parent gave birth to me. As I kept walking I kept hearing something almost like a question.

"hoo hoo hooooo" (???)

The noise excited me a little bit because I might meet someone like 'parent', but they have yet to show themselves...

"Oh no"

WOOOSH!!!

Just then a creature the complete oposite of 'parent' flew down trying to catch me in its sharp pointy beak. It turned back for another chance to get me, but I booked it to the nearest tree. I knew I wouldn't make it so I picked up a stick away from the tree and pointed toward the creature. It swept down right when I pointed the stick at it and it got that stick right in the eye.

CRASH!!!

The thing landed face first into the ground behind me and there was no other movement from it otherwise.

"TAKE THAT HOO-HOO!!!"

I jumped around and did a little dance, then I walked over to what I'm now calling hoo-hoo. The stick that was in the eye seemed to have been shoved even futher in during the crash, so no getting that back. I took a few bites of the hoo-hoo which seemed much easier with my long fang-like canines. After the quick snack I went to where I first saw the hoo-hoo when it swept down at me. I came to a tree with a hole in the top of the trunk, that caught my interest. I looked around for some way to climb the tree then my gorgeous mind came up with an idea. I walked up to the hoo-hoo again and tried pulling its clawed feet off.

'Alright this might not work but lets at least give it a try.'

I pulled with all my might and then I started to hear...

RIIIIIIIP!!!

With that I fell on my butt with a bunch of red wet stuff on me and a claw in my hands.

'I guess I'm stronger than I thought.'

Now the second step of the plan, separate the toes from the feet. That's where I got stumped again, but surely this sexy, strong, genius can figure it out.

'Brrrinnnng I have an idea!'

I took the seperated claw foot thing and walked over to the other one that was still connected to the hoo-hoo. My idea here is to use one of the sharp claw things to cut two toes off of the the foot that's still connected.

'Alright, here we go'

SHINK!

'This is going to be awhile'

A few hours later

'Alright it worked, but it took forever. I am tired beyond belief now, better find out whats up in that hole and then get some beauty sleep.'

I walked over to the tree again and use the two toes with claws to get a grasp while I climbed up. Halfway up I was starting to think I might slip from my sweaty palms, but in no time I made it to a branch. I sat down on the branch to get my breath, then went to the hole in the trunk. I peaked my head inside and saw a pile of dead grass and sticks. On top of the pile there seemed to be a white rock.

'Well I think this is a good place for a rest.'

It was decently warm and the pile looked soft so I plopped down next to the rock to have a rest.

The Next Morning

TAP

CRACK!!!

"I so seepy.....pwease just a little longer"

CRACKLE!!

Hoo!

I heard the sound and quickly got up. When I turned to see what was making the hoo-hoo's hoo , I only saw a hoo-hoo the same size as me. It didn't attack or anything so I could only come to one conclusion.

"I GAVE BIRTH LIKE 'PARENT'! Now I guess I'm a parent too. I knew the world loved me now I can raise you like 'Parent' was never able to do for me."
