Lawrence slept well that night. The hum of the Zailiens' machinery, the perfectly temperature-controlled fluid he lay suspended in, the good day he'd had saving people, fighting monsters, slinging "slick lines" (bad jokes)... it was all so lovely. As Lawrence drifted off to sleep, he hastily applied his Experience, giving little thought to where he allocated it.
