After a few minutes of cursing into the air, Owen finally calmed down. Taking a deep breath, he let it out slowly.
“Alright, so fuck all that and this Crea bitch.” Owen said to no one. “What else is there.” He sighed as he read through the other notifications.

Finally, having read all the Box’s Owens, empty eyes scanned over to the wall of the nearby home. Walking over and leaning against it, Owen slid down it as if his strings were cut. Just laying there, Owen was chastising himself, “They were so weak. If I didn’t fuck around and just came straight here, I could have stopped all this. Why the hell was I so stupid?” After letting the dark thoughts run their course, Owen let out a deep sigh. “Fuck it, it is what it is. At least I avenged them. Let’s see what all those things were about.” Willing open his Status, Owen glanced over it before focusing on his new Skills.

Dismissing the Box, Owen’s gaze fell back to the villager’s corpse’s. “Yeah, I can’t just leave you guys out for the animals.” Standing up, Owen looked around the outskirts of the town until he found what he was looking for. A shed stood a ways back near the midpoint of the barricade. Opening it, he found various tools and what he needed. Grabbing the shovel, he went looking for a nice loamy area. After poking around with the shovel, he found a nice spot near the back of the house he found Lily at. Looking into the sky, the large sun still looked high in the sky with the other, more miniature sun he saw earlier that day, nowhere to be seen.
“Shit, I don’t even know the day cycle here. How do the locals track their time? Wait, now that I think about it, how could I understand Lily and vice versa.” As if answering his inquiry, a new box appeared. This was darker, almost sinister-looking.
Unique Skill decoded - Dea’s Gift ( U ): Allows the User to speak and understand the local language Crealexis. Skill not yet fully decoded.
“Alright, so strange God from earlier is thanks for that, and for fucks sake, did that bitch name the fucking language after her.” Taking out his frustration on the earth, Owen began to dig the first grave of many. Whenever he hit a spot of earth too thick or full of stones, he would activate Heavy Slash to get through. Once he had a nice deep hole about 4 feet long and 3 feet wide, Owen hopped out and headed over to her body. Gingerly picking her up, he walked back to the grave he had dug earlier and sat on the edge. Scooting himself off the edge, he gently laid Lily down.
“Fuck I don’t know the funeral rites of these people. Fuck it, I’ll just do it the old-fashioned way.” Willing two of the copper coins he had into his hand, Owen gave them a once over. On one side was a six-winged creature, and the other had 6 figures, each in an equal section of the coin. Interesting, Owen thought as he placed the coins over her eyes and crossed her arms. “I hope wherever you are, Lily, whatever Gods were watching are giving you another chance like I got.” Climbing back out, Owen began to fill her grave before working on the next. After hours of burying the villagers, and with the sun finally cresting towards the horizon, Owen returned to where Lily was buried. For the other 13 graves, he just marked them with loose wood planks he found. Sitting down, Owen willed the Tombstone in front of him; it settled into the soft earth as he withdrew his chisel. Trying to trace out what he wanted to write, Owen was surprised at how easily he could mark the stone without using the hammer. Amidst the setting sun, Owen carved away at the slat. Fueled by his newfound hatred for this world, Owen sat in silence, the only sound the echoes of metal on stone. Looking down at his now completed work, Owen let out a sigh.
“Here lies a brave little sister who died fighting for those she loved.” A smile tugged at Owen’s face as silent tears began to fall. “Yeah, that’s good,” he muttered to himself. Standing, Owen placed the Marker over her grave and stood tall. “Alright, shelter and food. Let’s do this.” Wiping the tears from his face, he walked back into the village. While the bodies were gone, the ground was still stained with gore. Looking around, Owen finally found a home that neither had a corpse nor was destroyed. Looking around the interior, it was sparsely furnished. A single bed with a chest at its foot, a table with one chair, and a dead fireplace. Nodding to himself, Owen went back outside to gather kindling and some extra wood he found while making the grave markers. Coming back into the home, Owen set everything up in the fireplace before coming to a realization.
“Fuck, whoever lived here doesn’t have a striker.” Slumping down onto the chair in defeat, Owen placed his head against the rough wooden surface. “Just my fucking luck. Alright, let’s get these dried-ass rations a go; it can’t get any worse.” Looking at the table, Owen willed one of his rations out of his Inventory. With a flash of light, it appeared on the table in all its glory.
“Kebechet, you are the best Goddess EVER!” Owen exclaimed while looking down at it. In front of him on the table was the Lord’s MRE Number 10, Chili Mac.
