Sigh, he really doesn't look or act like a five years old kid. And the fact that he knows about that phrase. I don't know he knows the meaning of it. He looks clueless about what he just said.

I saw that phrase when I was reading a book that was brought from mother. T-t-the meaning of that is "I-I love you". That idiot. Now I can't sleep. I went to bed but kept on rolling until I fell asleep.

Urgh, is this really a girl? Why is she sleeping like this? Everything is a mess, her pillows fell off, sigh.

I went to pick her pillows that was falled from her bed. As I was picking up, she kept talking on her sleep.

"Idiot, Shin. Why are you like that? You're such an idiot."

She's even swearing at me even in her dreams? And she started talking again, "Please don't leave me. Mom, older brother.."

As she was talking I approached her and moved my face close to hers.

"No, don't leave, Shin!" And she opened her eyes. The first person she saw on that day is Shin. As she shouted and threw the pillows at him.

"Ahh! Pervert! What are you doing into my room! Pervert!"

"Hey, stop throwing those things to me. I just came here to wake you up."

"B-but why is your face so close to me? Gasp, are you trying to k-ki-kiss me?"

I was a little bit flustered, "Huh? No! Why would I? And also, you keep on intruding my room every morning. You can think of this as a payback."

"Idiot! Get out of my room!"

Ahh, she threw me out. I don't know about the dream she had but, I'm not gonna leave you, nor your brother. I will become stronger to protect you from any danger.

W-what was that? Why is his face so close to me? D-did he just k-k-kissed me? I touched my lips and and covered my face with pillow. That idiot!

I went down and the breakfast is already served.

I looked at everyone waiting for me, "I'm very sorry, I cleaned my room since it was messy."

Auntie Ariel smiled and looked at me, "Fufufu, you were noisy out there."

I blushed and kept on yapping, "N-no! It was Shin's fault."

"Let's eat breakfast."

I continued my training, there was only a little progress on my training, I attacked Uncle Giryu again but was defeated again. On the second day, I was able to make him use his second hand. On the third day, I lasted for a minute. On the forth day, I grazed his face. On the fifth day, I lasted for 10 minutes. On the sixth day, I was able to hit Uncle Giryu but it was weak.

It's been almost a week since I started my training, and I'm progressing quite well. And also, I've gotten used to uncle Giryu's moves. He drops his guard when he thinks he's already won. Yesterday, I was able to hit him when I was about to lose consciousness, he thought he has already won, that's why he dropped his guard. I'm gonna seek that opportunity.

Shin and Giryu continued their sparring again. Everyone was intensed while they gathered around them to watch.

Shin moved first and rushed straight to Giryu as always. Giryu used 'Earth Shaker' the ground trembled and Shin was able to predict that and jumped before Giryu casted his attack.

Giryu opened his mouth, "You're now in the air, you can't move while in the air."

Shin didn't reply, he went upside down and a barrier was casted on his feet and curled his leg and launched himself towards Giryu.

Shin was fast, but Giryu punched Shin but Shin disappeared in front of him.

Shin was already beside him. Shin punched Giryu right in the face and Giryu was thrown away.

"Y-yes! I did it!"

Giryu stood up and wiped the blood from his mouth.

Giryu opened his mouth, "You didn't held back from that punch huh?"

"Of course! Hahaha"

Giryu smirked, "I never thought you would use your wind magic that way. Releasing wind and using it to propel yourself huh?"

Shin grinned.

Giryu thought, "Damn! This brat caught me off guard. I should dispose of him now before he gets too dangerous. It's only been six days but he has improved a lot."

The day passed and everyone went to their houses. Giryu on the other hand, contacted his subordinates.

Giryu was standing in his outpost and a demon appeared. "My Lord, we are ready for disposal."

"Let's attack this village in five days. Make everyone prepare for a war against the 'Demon Lord of Destruction'."

Shin and Elfie are lying down in the yard.

Shin opened his mouth, "Those stars, do you think we can reach them?"

"They are too far away for us to reach."

"But I'm still glad."

"About what?"

"Well, it's near enough for us to see their beauty."

"There you again, you don't sound like a kid again."

"Ahh, am I weird? Well, maybe I was just influenced by books."

"No, you're not weird. Actually, you're cool."

Shin grabbed Elfie's hand, "I wish we can stay like this forever. I wish we can have our peace forever."

"W-what?" Elfie realized the thing she had done and blushed.

As they are eating breakfast, that's what they've been talking about.

I skipped training today to spend my day with Elfie today. First, we went to master craftsman in our village, Grandpa Kuro.

Elfie and I entered the shop, "Hello, grandpa!"

Grandpa Kuro looked at me, "Ohh, you're here, the bow is done. And here's the bracelet."

Elfie took the bracelet, "The design changed."

"Well, I took some of the white magistone in that bracelet, so I changed the design for a bit to make it look hood after chipping it."

I grabbed the bow and opened my mouth, "This is so light, what's this bow?"

"Haha, well, I haven't tried to craft a bow with a white magistone before so I overdid it a little."

"Did you enchant it?"

"Ahh yes, I used wind magic to make it light."

"It's amazing, it's good for Elfie."

I gave the bow to Elfie, "Here."

"I don't really know what you're talking about but, thank you for this bow."

"Well, your bow was destroyed on that day so.."

"I'll treasure this."

We left the shop and spent the day normally.

Everyone is training in the plaza as usual. Shin us sparring with Giryu, and Zeff is being trained by Roger. Elfie is watching Shin spar with Giryu.

Shin kept on looking at Elfie, Giryu opened his mouth, "You shouldn't take your eyes on your opponent!" Giryu struck Shin on the head.

"Ugh! I'm sorry."

"This won't do. Take a break for now."

"Thank you, Uncle Giryu."

Shin went to Elfie.

"What brings you here today Elfie?"

"I came here to watch everyone train. There's nothing to do at home so Auntie Ariel told me to come here."

"I see. Let's go take a stroll around the Village?"

"But you're currently training."

"Uncle Giryu told me to take a break."

"Yeah, but your going to exhaust yourself from walking."

"It's fine, being with you makes me feel good."

Elfie and Shin walked around the Village.

Shin looked at the sky and opened his mouth, "You're not talking with Zeff these past days, did something happen between you two?"

"No. We're perfectly fine but he said he needs to get stronger that's why he's focusing on his training."

"Ehh, you're a very understanding person, huh?"

"Well, that's... Just how mom raised me."

"I see."

After a moment of silence, Elfie asked Shin. "Why do you want to become stronger?"

Shin looked at Elfie and hesitated to answer, after a moment, he opened his mouth. "Well, it's so that I can protect the people close to me."

"But you're still a kid."

"Yeah, but according to theories, the younger you start to train, the stronger you'll get once you get into the right age."

"What does that mean? That doesn't even make any sense. You're just wearing down your body."

"You won't achieve the strength to protect anyone if you don't hurt your body."

Shin continued to walk an Elfie stopped. Elfie's face is as red as a tomato while Shin is embarrassed after saying that.

Father asked me to spar with Zeff to see how Zeff and I improved these few days of training.

We went straight ahead to prepare for our sparring.

He is holding a real sword while I am holding a wooden sword. Father said we can choose any weapon that we want. So I grabbed this wooden sword.

Zeff looked annoyed and said, "You seem to be underestimating me."

"No, no no, I grabbed this wooden sword because there's something I wanna try."

"Hmm, I see." Zeff said with a squinting eyes.

Father started the match and I used a hardening magic on my sword. Father's eyes widened by what he has witnessed. Zeff who has lowered his guard suddenly raised his guard.

"You seem tensed." I said with a provocative tone.

"I never thought that you could use hardening."

I used flash step and I disappeared from his sight. Zeff used his sage's eyes and can see my trace. He blocked my attack and I backed down.

I was surprised, Sage's eyes, what a terrifying ability.

Zeff rushed towards me and made a full swing of his sword. That's one of his flaw, he leaves himself open everytime he attacks. Swords clashed each other. I used sharpening on my sword and Zeff swung hid sword. I parried his attack and cut his sword in half. I pointed my sword on his neck. Father called off the sparring. "Match over! Winner, Shin!"

I shaked my hands with Zeff.

This brat, he has improved a lot for just training in two weeks. I trained him so that I can manage how much he will improve but I never expected him to exceed my expectations.

If I let him be, It'll really become a problem. I... I must get rid of him now. Or maybe it's time already?

I contacted my Demon General to attack the Brysver Village right here, right now.

As we were talking and having fun, I felt a sudden chill on my spine and as I looked up. I saw portal and a demon appeared.

I opened my eyes and I was in a room.

I touched my head. "It was.. A dream."

I looked at the door and opened it. A girl is looking at me nervously, she isn't the one who welcomed me.

She looked at me and opened her mouth, "I-I'm very sorry for disturbing you, but d-dinner is serve."

"Sure."

"Hik!" She was startled.

"Ohh, I'm very sorry, but don't be scared I'm not a bad guy."

"S-sorry."

"Can you bring my dinner here? I can't eat in front of everyone, since I can't show my face, due to some personal reason."

"Y-yes, sir."
