Face-To-Face is a crime-noir action novel inspired by various works before its time, including James Bond, Lupin the 3rd, martial arts movies, etc. Set in a futuristic world where the criminals run wild like rats and the police are but incompetent fools, Jack, a specialized undercover agent, is armed with a highly dangerous revolver, and a tremendous dose of Determination™. He will stop at nothing, and absolutely nothing else, to deliver justice and protect the city from those who seek selfish gains and otherworldly goals. His intensity and stubborn selflessness almost beg the question: why is he doing this at all? Why should he risk his being for people who may or may not even deserve his sacrifice? Perhaps Jack knows the answer. Or perhaps he doesn't. One thing he does know, though, is protecting the innocent and the weak, and in order to do that, Jack is willing to transcend even death itself.
